Yria Hotel

Let’s be honest—if you go to a hotel looking for flaws, you’ll find plenty. This particular property is a small, conveniently located hotel close to the city center. There’s ample street parking available across the main street . Yes, the rooms are on the smaller side, but they’re cozy and pleasant. My room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the TV offered several channels, plus the option to log in to your own Netflix account. The shower worked well, the bathroom was perfectly fine, and the room’s temperature was comfortable. Let’s face it: unless you’re staying at a resort, what more do you really need from a city hotel? It’s a place to sleep, freshen up with a good shower, and set out to explore. The staff were friendly, especially the lady at the front desk, who was exceptionally kind. I decided to skip breakfast and opted to eat by the waterfront instead. For what it is, I’d rate this as a solid option—a decent, convenient hotel for anyone visiting the area. I noticed some reviews, particularly from British guests, seemed overly critical, but I genuinely enjoyed my stay here and would gladly return.

Really impressed with this hotel, it offers excellent value for money. Arguably, the bathrooms could do with a bit of a refresh, but other than that, I can’t really fault anything else. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the location was fantastic. Within a few minute walk you are right amongst all of the bars and restaurants, and the harbour. Overall if you are looking for a reasonably priced hotel close to all of the amenities, then I would definitely recommend Yria Hotel and if I come back this is where I’ll be looking to stay.

Ho alloggiato in questo hotel per 4 notti, si presenta pulito, semplice e con tutti i servizi necessari. Si trova in posizione centrale a 100 m dalla lido e a pochi metri dai locali del centro. Avevo il balcone con vista sul mare, davvero meraviglioso. Stanze e bagni piccoli con i servizi essenziali. Ogni giorno passavano a pulire la stanza, rifare le lenzuola, cambiare gli asciugamani e ricaricare shampoo e sapone. Non mancava davvero nulla. Ah, ovviamente aveva l'aria condizionata ben funzionante. Non avevo incluso la colazione nella prenotazione perchè per un giorno l'avremmo persa per una gita e abbiamo avuto la possibilità di pagarla ogni giorno che ci servisse al modico costo di 7 euro a persona ed era davvero completa, dal dolce al salato. Consiglio assolutamente la colazione anche perchè al mattino presto non si trovano aperti i bar dove fare colazione e conviene pure. Abbiamo soggiornato 9 notti e ci è piaciuto tutto di questo albergo.La nostra camera era graziosissima, al 3° piano, con un bel balconcino con vista sul mare da un lato e sulla collina dall'altro. Inoltre avevamo la tv,cassaforte e aria condizionata. La colazione a buffet era buonissima e varia.La posizione dell'albergo poi e'eccellente,sul lungomare e a due minuti dal centro.Unico neo il bagno un po piccolo

A good hotel to sleep and near the city center to visit by foot. We had a relly good matress. Our room had a balcony with Sea View. Maybe the rooms need a fresh-up in renovation, but it's not that bad. The bathroom of our room was really small to keep in mind if you are a big person. After all it was a nice Center of City Zakynthos experience.

The outside of the Hotel was beautiful with the flowers hanging off the balcony. The receptionists were all really nice and helpful. There is an elevator in the hotel which makes it really easy to move your luggage or get to your room quickly. The rooms (not deluxe) were pretty basic, but they served as a base perfectly, where you go only to sleep and shower.

The breakfast was delicious and most importantly varied, consisting of several types of bread, jams, butter, meat, cheese, egg, sauces, even baked beans and watermelon and melon slices, and cereal. We always left the dining area stuffed and feeling satisfied. Breakfast by the way is from 7:30 until 10:30, for which you have to pay extra.

The Hotel is not far from the city center, where there are several restaurants and bars, and some mini markets, and a stony beach is also a few minutes walk away.

The bathroom (or at least ours) include both hand towels and shower towels, a package of hand soap, and a tube of shampoo/shower gel. The amount of these things varies based on how many people will stay in the room (if you go in pairs, it doubles). It also has a very old and kinda broken, but still working hairdryer. Be aware that you cannot throw used toilet paper in the toilet, it has to be thrown in the bin. The towels, soap, and the shampoo/gel gets frequently replaced (for us, it was done daily).

The bedroom had a small wall-mounted TV, a small fridge, two bedside tables with lamps, and air conditioning, wich made the room very comfortable to arrive to. The room gets cleaned almost every day, so don't be scared when some personal stuff gets moved around.

Overall, the time spent at the Hotel was really relaxing and pleasant, full of friendly faces. Every night it was like arriving home from a long and hot day.

The staff are very friendly and nice especially the lady with short hair. The cleaning staff are awesome they do a very good job cleaning. The AC works very well, the rooms are always clean everyday with fresh towels, the hotel is very strategically located so you can walk around old town. They also helped me change my booking when i made a mistake. Only thing I didn’t like as much was the shower curtain because the floor would get wet just be careful

Negative side: bad wifi, bad spot for network connection as well. If you need network connection than better choose other hotel. If not, then the hotel might be fine. It was quite, cleaning service everyday.
Breakfast was good but without vegetables and/or fruits.
