The hotel is right next to the small square in the city center, which is very convenient. It's not far from Lake Hévíz and there are many dining options nearby. This is the most cost-effective hotel in our entire trip, with the lowest price and breakfast and dinner included. The hotel has hot springs, but we didn't prepare for hot springs because we were a little hesitant about mixed bathing for men and women. The room was very big.

It's a big, busy (in August), probably late socialist-era resort hotel that's actually quite pleasant. And cheap. There's a holiday vibe. For an overnight stay it's excellent and I wouldn't have minded staying longer. I didn't try any of the many "health"/beauty treatments on offer but they're inexpensive. (The lifts/elevators are few and slow.)

Kakadu hotel is situated in a quiet piece of town. There is a gas-station approximately 100-150 meters away. The personnel was very nice and they spoke German and English. Breakfest is buffet type and I found it tasty. I can only recommend this hotel.
