Azzahra Boutique Hotel & Restaurant - Jerusalem
Jerusalem, 13 Azzahra Street 🧭 Map
Visited the restaurant a couple of times. Both middle eastern and Italian food are great. Pizza is excellent. Taybeh (local) beer goes well with the food. Friendly service with very good English. Reasonable prices. Definitely a great option for lunch or dinner!
Huge portions and a really good variety of local food and some international options
Gorgeous food though quality went down compared to what it was previous to the Covid period. Service gentleness and class still needs improvement…
Excellent service and professionalism, the quality of the hotel is exceptional.
The welcome is to the little care of customers, always with a smile and good humor.
A very big thank you to James and his team for your daily advice.
I recommend Azzahra hotel to all travelers who want to have a pleasant stay in Jerusalem.
Looking forward to seeing you again
It's the absolute best, on every level. Ama axing staff, delicious breakfast, clean and beautiful
My husband and I did a self tour of Jerusalem and we chose the Azzahara hotel because it was Within walking distance Of the main gates of the old city of Jerusalem.
The Azzahara has a wonderful breakfast buffet , an old fire oven for some of the best pizza ever, a great menu for dinner., and wine selections galore.
The employees are just wonderful., we were greeted with homemade lemonade and...

Excellent support from the receptionists, they helped me to get a backpack back. Excellent breakfast, 15-20min walking distance from the city center.
Didn't hotel there but got married there so that was cool. Wouldn't do again though .
Great location and great breakfast. Don't expect much from the room. The first one we got we complained cause it was not clean and the small fridge was falling off. The second room we got was at least clean. Breakfast was great and we'll priced, location excellent
Nice Hotel friendly service food is good mainly Israeli style nice rooms could use a little up to date Decor
I'll start with the positives: the food was ok maybe a little dry at times but I didn't find it problematic, the rooms were clean and the staff were nice. Also the location makes it really simple to get to machane Yehuda.
My main complaint is that the rooms are too small. I am 1.76 m and when I was lying in bed my feet were dangling in the air. The shower is very narrow, and every time I moved I touched...
A hotel catered for the orthodox Jewish. I stayed there for free with a trip so can't comment on price but the food was very simple and basic kosher stuff, I think you can buy much better meals in the restaurants in the machane yehuda market(though I don't like the market because its noisy and with many tourists traps). The stuff is nice and helpful and the small "garden" to sit in outside is nice...

The hotel is located in a great place, is very clean, and the staff is friendly and willing to help guests with their questions.
Great value hotel.
Really nice. Upgraded to 5th floor which has modernised rooms. Pillows were a bit high / hard. Best value hotel in area with free parking
Excellent location, across the most luxurious hotels of Jerusalem. Walkable distance to the Mamilla mall and old city. Good size rooms and friendly stuff.
Mediocre Food
We understand that the hotel is being renovated. We did not get one of the renovated rooms. As such, the flooring was warped and coming up and the lighting was poor. We had to slam the door hard in order to get it to lock. The breakfast seemed nice, but they added dairy products ti a lot og the food, and being lactose intolerant, I was unable to eat many items, especially the scrambled...
A simple place to stay if your plan is to be out and about all day. No frills, small elevators (two trips to go up with bags), boutique feel, very kind staff willing to be very accommodating of bag storage and other requests during the stay.
Great location.
Overall our stay was ok. We received an upgraded room from a very friendly manager who was excellent after an inconvenience. She did an excellent job and helped us have a better experience. One note is that the pillows in the room are not comfortable, they are and thick. Not comfortable sleeping on something like that. Also both rooms we had were missing soap to wash our hands...

Fine. Close to the old town. Cleaning every day.
Great place to stay with a good value for money. Easy check in and great location. Beautiful building. Staff was super friendly. Shower didn't really get hot, this should be fixed. Cutlery and glasses in the kitchen facilities would be nice. I would stay there again

Family owned and ran. Great people who take pride in their establishment. Dublin Bar is 50 meters away and has a great group of people.
You stay what you pay for, this is not hotel but hostel, broken down need upgrade, the location is very strategic though
First of all, it's not actually a hotel, but a single floor in a building with a few rooms. The cleanliness is not great- the bed sheets had stains, the shower was not properly maintained- sealing rubber was loose, the sink tap was leaking, there was a crack in sink, the decorative tin tables had stains and looked very old. The noise from outside can be heard very clearly so that might be an issue...
Very comfortable, staff friendly, small hotel (one floor - 10 -15 room - not sure exactly) located 5 min walk from Yaffa gate of Old City. Very convenient for self-exploring Old City, convenient public transportation from Jerusalem Central bus and train station. Clean and convenient. Area around hotel feel safe. But in a last day of our stay (4-24-2023) terror attacks happened 300 m ahead of us when...
Small hotel on the third floor of the building, ten rooms, we with our group occupied eight. Obviously not all of the same size but even the smallest ones were comfortable enough. The hotel does not offer breakfast but has a common corner where you can get free coffee and hot drinks. The management is Italian and we were very pleased about it. Alfi, the landlady's son, was very kind upon our arrival...
Truly a pleasant discovery for this hotel. The owners, Italians, know how to help you in any way. The room is just right for the needs you need when you travel. A fairly large room as well as the bathroom. They even have a small kitchenette with a sink to prepare anything to eat. Close to the historic center, in the new part of Jerusalem served by any shop. From the central station it is 3 tram stops...

Staff members were very friendly
Room was clean and tidy
Location is amazing very close to shopping center and tourist attractions.
The location was close to the old city of Jerusalem, walking distance to the Jaffa Gate. The facility itself is beautiful inside and out. The pool is exceptional and the breakfast left nothing to be desired.
I had the most incredible experience at this hotel, truly making it a standout destination. From the moment I arrived, the staff's warm welcome and attentive service set the tone for an exceptional stay. I must particularly commend Pauline at the front desk, whose professionalism and friendliness were truly remarkable. She went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of my stay was perfect. Very nice and comfort hotel to stay in the center of Jerusalem.
Close to the Old city, The First Train, Mamilla.
There is a free parking and free entrance to the adjacent great sport center.
The staff is very friendly and the rooms are clean.
Breakfast was nice, not more, need to make it better and ask the staff to refill vegs and diary products.
For families - there aren't big family rooms or rooms...

Great experience in the hotel. Perfect location next to the old city . Tons of things to do. Pool on the roof with great view to the old city. Nice breakfast in the hotel ! Rooms are very nice and clean. The stuff is super friendly . We will be back for sure
My room had an incredible view of the Temple Mount! Very nice people!
Room could have been a lot cleaner. It was smelly and had a dusty odour. The bathroom drain was full of hair and the fake flowers were full of dust and we had to rest them outside on the verandah that had no table or chairs so impossible to enjoy unless standing.
Room is big, but is no parking in the facility. So is hard to find parking in the street
I've never been to an establishment and actually felt like I was part of a family. The amount of times I locked myself out of my room, and Abu Muhammed was kind enough to walk up and down repeatedly and unlock my door, was surely more than a Hilton would've offered me. Abu Muhammed and Musa, especially, I would like to say thank you to - they treated me like family. Like my own grandfather would...

Montefiore is a great hotel especially for large group. Its an Excellent hotel, Excellent Breakfast, Great Location, Exellent and accommodating staff..Sophie is exemplary! I Will definitely visit again! Christina
I stayed for 4 nights. I have to qualify the review by saying that I spent very little time in the hotel (just sleeping and breakfast). The room served mainly as a staging area for all my activities outside, and as such I did not need any amenities more than a clean room and good breakfast. The cost for my stay was $99 per night, which was a very good price considering the location, and the very...
Excellent breakfast that is officially served till 10 a.m., but you can come much later too. Also, you can ask for a disposable container and take it upstairs (there is a mini-refrigerator). For Shabbat observant, tea lights in a lobby Friday night; wine for Kiddush and Havdala. A few complains – cleanliness (under bed, switches, staircase, and bathroom’s door). We were in room 703– the only...
We were very pleased with this hotel. If you are on a budget and want a place that is basic, clean and in a GREAT location, this is your hotel. The hotel room is not luxurious but does the job. We weren't planning on spending a lot of time in the room anyway! The price was right and we loved the location. Maybe since we were there 6 nights, we were surprised one night with fruit, jam, and bottled water...
I stayed here the week of March 17 for the Jerusalem Marathon. My room was 702, small but great for the solo traveler. The 7th floor has only three rooms and 702 has a balcony. Newly remodeled, the room was pleasant for five nights. Breakfast had a nice assortment.
I stayed in this hotel twice in the space of two weeks. The rooms were very comfortable, and the room on the top floor (701) had a fabulous bathroom and a roof deck. The location is perfect--in a quiet side street, within walking distance of many things, including the Old City and Ben Yehuda St. with all its restaurants and coffeeshops. For Jerusalem, the prices are reasonable. They will lend you a...

They kindly changed us to a room with a better view (Temple Mount). They also called a taxi for us to join an early morning tour, at a very reasonable price. Good for pulgrims
Personnel was very friendly, hospitable and helpful. Always ready to help.
Good, updated room with an excellent bed and excellent bathroom. Food was very good, although there was no variety day to day. Keep in mind, that if you are shopping in gift shops, most places list prices in US dollars or sometimes Euros. Thus, if you exchange money at the airport into the New Israeli Shekels. and pay with shekels, you will lose money on the conversion rate.
We stayed here as part of a tour group, so we had many meals here. The food was good, but day to day there was not much variety. Our room was excellent - air conditioning worked well, the bathroom was remodeled, lots of storage space, mattress on the bed was nice and firm (not like the soft, unsupportive mattresses in the US hotels). At night, the neighborhood appears to be rough. It was recommended...
Very friendly reception. Needs a bigger sign though. The room is quite ok considering the price .
The noise from the street is relatively loud, but for those who sleep better, the price/performance ratio is good: only by the Church of the Ascension, one minute away is the Church of the Lord's Prayer; it is only four or five minutes away from the important viewing platform of the Mount of Olives.

Finding the location of the hotel was like being in a treasure hunt game, since despite the indications they send to locate the place, it was a bit confusing, but we managed to get to the place! So my...
We fell in love with our little apartment, with Jaffa Street and Jerusalem. The apartment is simple, If you are looking for a luxury room, this is not the place to choose. We brought a carry on...
Nice location, easy to get, parking garage nearby, cafes and restaurants! Everything that you might to want! But room 3507 had broken window's glass and at night becomes very noisy! Also Light in the bathroom automatically turned off too soon! Be careful!
Great location, easy access, pretty spacious.
However, WILDLY overpriced for a basic apartment. The walls were quite thin, so we could hear noise and music from the neighboring bar. There was absolutely no way to completely block out light, the curtains there don't do the trick. The place was poorly maintained, with some broken cabinets. Cleaning could be better - there was a bobby pin on the floor...
