Jerusalem, 37 Yismach Melech Street 🧭 Map
I love this hotel because it's very quiet & the clerk is very friendly. EXCELLENT shower & air conditioner. I took a small room but i really like it. The only con is there's no refrigerator or safe. I'd really recommend coming here 4 someone who's looking 4 an affordable hotel & likes a quiet place.
The location of Hotel is very nice. Place is quite and calm. Staff is very nice and helpful. You can visit old city and city center, its on walking distance. Rooms are quite ok, I was not very satisfied with the rooms, One of the god option to stay in Jerusalem.
polite staff, average breakfast, poor rooms, regular price..
Very nice and humble place, the crew was great and caring but not professional. Beds we're not comfortable at all.
It's a simple hotel, with a good price for its location. The employees are always nice and can speak in a very good english. The only problem for me was the tight bathroom.
We stayed April 2016 9 days it was a great convenience and off the the Main Street. Was quite and peaceful. The staff were great. The front desk clerks were incredibly knowledgeable with detail about where and how to go anywhere in Israel. The only thing is missing is an elevator. I would definitely stay there again.

Jerusalem, Sultan Suleiman St., Damascus Gate 🧭 Map
Golden Walls Hotel was a pleasure staying out. The food and service from staff were next to none. Amazing hotel with a modern lounge and dining. Although the bedroom decor were outdated it served its purpose; for sleeping only. Food was very delicious including breakfast and dinner. Options were a little limited but we got the main stuff which was always pleasing to see. Overall an excellent hotel...
I booked a package from the UK with Al Buruj Press which included breakfast and dinner that had a variety of food. The rooms were well maintained and cleaned daily. TV with beIN sports is also available and managed to watch Arsenal vs Manchester United live.
Ideal location!! Perfectly located and surrounded by food, grocery and gift shops, the Golden Walls Hotel right outside the old city walls. Breakfast is excellent with a range of food choices for everyone. Staff is polite and accommodating but certain situaions are beyond their control. We need to remember that and be patient! The staff is very polite. And helpul.
Close to the Damascus and Herods gate, it has fantastic location. The rooms, dining area and the lobby is clean and well maintained. Very friendly staff, always ready to help. Food was good and plenty both breakfast and dinner times with lots of options. Will definitely come back inshallah.
Good place. Excellent choice for breakfast. Really nice staff including breakfast staff. Would recommend. Only issue was the room cleaning was not done. Only towels had been changed. They did not hoover or sort the beds out. Shame really. I did ask twice. Once to the actual cleaners then second time to front desk.
Good decent average hotel, Palestine run and owned. Had a very pleasant stay there. Very close to Al Aqsa mosque. Would recommend.

Very cosy room and nice breakfast, received free room upgrade.
I have spent a couple of nights in this hotel and I have enjoyed a lot. It is very well situated, good price and nice staff members, very helpful. When I arrived I had access to the room very much which is always appreciated after travelling. I liked it so much that I have added an extra night to my stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel
The hotel was very nice. Staff extremely friendly, we even got a free upgrade to a better room. The location was great as it is very close to the city center and in the middle of an area with many shops and restaurants. One comment that I have is that the breakfast was missing labels on the food so we needed to ask in case we did not recognize the food.
pleasant check in. reception happy to arrange airport transfer the next day. Was informed about the breakfast time. Looking forward to stay. Small corner room but not noisy.
Stayed for two nights as part of our tour. The hotel is in an excellent location downtown amongst shopping and eateries, also short waking distance to the Old City. Rooms were compact with modern amenities such as USB charging points and were very clean. Only downside were the beds. Our twin beds were too short and narrow. We are 5'9" (175cm) tall, our feet hung over the end and I fell out of the bed...
Nice central hotel. a minute walk to main jaffa street. There was a strong smell of sewage coming from the parking lot to the hotel. The service and the food in the dining room was excellent.

Spending 20 days at the Ambassador Hotel in Jerusalem felt less like staying at a hotel and more like being gently folded into the rhythm of a city that whispers stories through stone. From the very first day, I was welcomed not just as a guest, but with a warmth and attentiveness that stayed constant throughout my entire stay. The staff are truly courteous, always smiling, always ready to help. But...
This is a hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. I can only give my best commendation. Very good room service with food.
This was my third time staying here and I keep coming back because if the amazing service, great food, perfect location, and staff that are incredibly friendly and so helpful. I highly recommend it to anyone considering a stay in Jerusalem!
The staff was friendly and hospitable. Location was in a quiet area of town with a quick 30 min walk to the old city or 10 min cab ride. The patio had a stunning view of Jerusalem. Loved the fennel salads and soups!!!
The Ambassador Hotel hosted our rather large dig team for six weeks of archaeological field work. Their services were excellent, including the 4 am breakfast we needed before heading out at 5 am, and letting us raid the kitchen for ice and water to fill our jugs for the day's work. The food is excellent, the chef has a deft hand with herbs, and ever-hungry archaeologists were happy with the abundance...

We loved it! The location is super convenient, few mins waking to Damascus Gate, 2 mins walking distance from light tram station. It's a beautiful historical building with really nice antique decoration. My husband loves history, so he felt in love with the building after the owner told us the story about it😄The high ceiling room is very nice. Even though the location is so central but inside the...
I would give Jerusalem Hotel 6 out 5 stars if I could. Raed waited up past 2 am just to make sure I got to the property safely! The food was absolutely amazing. The decour was fantastic. And the location is right where you want to be, just minutes away from old city Jerusalem by foot! The staff are very helpful, and answer questions you will likely have about the area. I cannot picture staying...
The space itself is gorgeous. The staff is very kind and helpful. The hotel is walking distance from Damascus gate and the main bus station.
Wonderful Hotel Experience! Highly Recommended. Originally one two the wrong hotel address and was upset because I thought we were left in the cold. Once we were able to confirm our reservation, we were guided to the correct hotel. What an absolutely lovely place to stay. I love historic hotels such as this one. Everything is clean and atmospheric ,I liked my room very much. The attached restaurant serves nightly specialtes of local recipes. On the expensive side though I've found all dining in Israel is relatively expensive compared with Europe and other countries. Polite and smiling staff. We had booked a standard family room. At the reception, they told us there was some issue with our room, so they gave us two connecting rooms instead. Plus, the kids each got a toy as a gift. It was great!
Overall it's OK. The location is OK.
Perfect location! Walking distance to the Shuk, western wall, mamila mall, montefiori windmills and more.... Great breakfast!
A very good hotel in the center of the city with good service and great hotel personnels.
I recently stayed at ibis in Jerusalem and had an exceptional experience! The hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. The rooms were modern, clean, and comfortable, with stunning views of the surrounding area. The staff were friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was enjoyable. What truly made my stay stand out, however, was the hotel's exceptional customer service....
The hotel is in the city center and it is very convenient to go shopping downstairs.
Looks like it intended to be a very good and comfortable hostel with a lot of peculiar ideas in design and internal atmosphere. And definitely it used to be so. But now it looks quite worn out and requires some renovation. However it's still worth staying.

Great hotel easy walking distance from the old city, plenty of restaurants and pubs. Room was clean - had snacks! Good rest - couldn’t ask for more.
My wife just stayed there and couldn't be happier. She said it was a very comfortable room and she was extremely impressed with the early check-in.
We really enjoyed our stay at Prima Vera. I’m a bit surprised by some of the negative reviews here, as our experience was very positive. The hotel is currently undergoing renovations, and we were upgraded to one of the newly renovated rooms, which might explain the difference. The location is fantastic, right next to Ben Yehuda Street, and having on-site parking was a huge plus. The staff were genuinely...
Prima Vera has all that one might need in hotel services. However, they excel in being a home away from home. Suzanna is like Mom…making sure you don’t get lost when leaving. The kitchen staff make sure your omelet is like grandma made it. I’m certain they picked up the fresh fruit and vegetables for breakfast while you I slept. I also like the convenience of parking in the center of Jerusalem close...
Small hotel in the center of the city. Small rooms but reasonably clean and maintained. My only issues are the lack of free parking. The hotel has a small parking garage where you are charged ₪50.00 per day.. oh well Breakfast was good coffee machines etc. Staff is friendly. Good for a visit on a budget.. nothing to write home about.
Well-located, affordable, breakfast buffet, late check-out and the employees are super nice! Musah was kind enough to advise about some restaurants and where to visit. Hospitality of the staff exceed our expectations.

Great hotel Very clean welcoming and with excellent hospitality Thank you to Victoria Hotel for making my stay as a tourist so enjoyable, Great location and walking distance from the Dome Of the Rock and close.
The reason for my statement is soon explained. This is a hotel in the Arab part of Jerusalem, of a good standard, well maintained. My room and bathroom were impeccable. A very convenient hotel in the heart of the old city, close to many of the attractions and particularly Masjid Al-Aqsa. There are several gates in close proximity to the hotel, so the mosque can be easily reached. The rooms are comfortable with very basic furnishing. The view from the upstairs eating area is just amazing and very pleasant to sit there during the evenings. Good WiFi in the rooms.

Although it is located in East Jerusalem, it has history and charm which has attracted me to bring my grandkids here. The surrounding neighborhood is quiet, but it's too far to Old Jerusalem, and you have to cross many hills and valleys. It's difficult to get to and from on foot, even if you take a bus. A small hotel at a good location. We stayed for one night. You would have to climb a few dozen stairs to the reception and the rooms - both on 2nd floor. The room is small but very clean. The TV is also small. The Value for money was fair.
The place is an old hotel with a realy welcoming, cosy feeling. As soon as you enter you have a lovely big room for coffe, tea and biscuits and its open 24 hours.. will come again! :)
It was great because the location is in a wonderful and historic neighbor hood. The price was an exceptional value. The front desk staff, particularly Joseph, wasavailable, informative, helpful and he personallycarried all our bags to our rooms. The rooms were a good size.

Room size is small and simple. I stayed here one night so I didn’t care much. The bed is sooo comfy. Bathroom is tiny and ants appear looking for water. Excellent hotel! Located in a nice quiet neighborhood with many options for a romantic dinner, wine bars and more. The hotel itself was very clean and comfortable, and some rooms have balconies. The best value for money in the city, and they even serve a basic breakfast of coffee and pastries. Would come here again for sure.
My second stay here, each one over a week. Small spaces but thoughtfully designed and well equipped. Rehavia location, walkable distance to downtown, First Station and Old City. Several bus lines run nearby.
A quaint basic but clean and comfortable place. They are accommodation only, no meals provided although there are hot drinks available 24/7. We had a small garden suite which was extremely sweet! with a comfortable ensuite bedroom, and our own little private garden to relax in which was absolutely gorgeous
The people behind the desk were incredibly kind and helpful. After a less then pleasant experience at another hotel, I was thrilled that this hotel was not only able to give us our preferred room a day early, but also was able to check us in immediately. The staff was very kind, and the check-in went smoothly. The rooms are good and clean, but the walls are a bit thin, so in the morning it was a bit noisy. Good value for money. Very good and a lot of food for breakfast. Very good location. The rooms are not so clean, the windows as well, you might not be able to close fully the windows and because of that can be noise from outside.
