Room was clean and comfortable. It had a mini-fridge and a safe. The bathroom had a shower/tub combo, an adjustable handheld shower wand, a slightly non-slip surface, and a grab bar for safety. The air conditioning had shut off for the season in November. Since it was unseasonably warm when I arrived, they put me in a room on the first floor (the floor just above the reception desk) because the rooms there were naturally cooler. The room, therefore, was not uncomfortable but this is something to think about depending upon when you are traveling. The hotel had elevators/lifts, a small market by the reception desk, a restaurant and they also offered room service.

Reasonable Marriot Hotel and only option in Bologna. Rooms and overall decor is nice and modern. Classic 4 star hotel with good rooms, fairly reasonable breakfast option but limited. Bar is open until around 11pm but staff do let you drink in there after hours. As a Marriot member however they don’t offer upgrades to rooms which is disappointing. Parking option out the front is free but limited spaces. Location not the greatest as 20 minutes walk away from the centre.

This is a well appointed AC hotel — interiors felt better than other AC hotels. Rooms are basic, but spacious, comfortable and functional. There is space for one suitcase, so an extra luggage rack would be nice.
Bathrooms could use some more common sense — tiny, shallow sink with very forceful water that splashes, typical European bathtub with a half glass pane that leaves your bathroom wet after a shower and worst of the lot, the door is flimsy with massive gaps leaving no privacy for sound, smell or sight.
Breakfast was nice but only worth it if it’s included in your rate.
Plenty parking available in the basement (for a reasonable charge)
Location is average — it’s nestled in a residential area. There is a Lidl close by but not much more. Old town is a 15 minute walk, but more like 30-40 minutes to the center of old town. Your best bet is to take the 21 bus right outside the hotel that takes you to the center of old town (btw, this but doesn’t show up on some apps like Google maps for some reason — you can pay for bus tickets on board using contactless)

This is the worst hotel experience. I dont even write reviews normally, but this hotel is beyond expectations…
The hotel stinks…. Literally stinky…
everything smell, the covers the pillows the bathroom… sorry but even the staff smell… literally the worst experience
The staff are friendly and nice no complaints about them, but what is the added value of having a friendly staff with stinky smelly rooms…
I literally had a headache from the smell of this hotel.
They changed the room for me but nothing changed…. I believe the maintenance of the hvac hasn’t been done since ages and they are using very cheap cleaning and laundry detergent..

I thought this was a suboptimal location that’s not really walkable to anywhere. It’s possible to walk from the train station but it’s just far enough to be a hassle. It’s possible to walk to some restaurants in about 15 minutes, but it’s not really well suited for that. It’s not a great walk downtown either.
We thought the hotel had shortcomings with customer service. For example, the restaurant was closed when we arrived around 3pm. We asked the reception for suggestions and they said we would have to wait until 7:30pm to eat because everything was closed. We walked to get some premade salads at the closest grocery store. When we returned, we sat down in the lobby/restaurant/bar area (it’s all one big space with open seating).
They asked us to leave because we were not ordering food (again, the restaurant was closed, but the bar was open). They walked us to an empty, dark, room with couches and told us we could eat there. Super bizarre, unusual, and unnecessary. Usually the Italians are the most friendly, hospitable and generous people in Europe. I assume this hotel just has terrible management.
On the positive, they did have a loaner umbrella and a loaner adapter.
The rooms are fine, but small. Nothing special. The gym is small with very limited options.
We realized it was a mistake to book this hotel.

The star ⭐️ here is the staff, especially the front desk staff. The location is at least 1.5km from everything you want to see and eat. The breakfast was good. The bar service lazy. The room was clean but no opportunity for upgrade.

Stayed for 2 weeks. It has a very good location. The room was clean , modern and minimal. Onsite restaurant and bar were very good. No issues.

This is a great hotel, very modern and comfortable. The AC in my room was making a noise, I reported to reception and when I returned later that evening it seemed to have been fixed.

Standard room with some wear and tear apparent throughout. Shower set up was not great (hose style to shower head with difficulty to get to stay at good angle). Hotel is set up next to this park with frequent loud vagrants at night. A/C was very weak so room was left very warm. Wouldn’t stay here again

There is free wifi, and there are adequate outlets and USB plugs in the rooms. Bathrooms are clean and modern. Gym is modest but good enough for a quick workout- cardio equipment and free weights.
