Nestled in the heart of Florence, its proximity to all the wonders allows you to explore with just your feet, losing yourself in a maze of alleys, each one as beautiful as the next.
The welcome was excellent, we never encountered any difficulties, from the beginning to the end of our stay.
The reception staff, as well as the Rooftop staff, were more than up to the task. Friendly and above all, cheerful! See you soon.
The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was lovely. The rooms are what you would expect for a 3 star hotel, but they were of a good size. I would recommend for a short stay if you’re on a budget.
The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. A huge plus for a European hotel was the excellent air conditioning in our room.
There were a couple of tiny hiccups. The Wi-Fi, which was excellent for most of our visit, cut out on our last morning, though in fairness, I had used a lot of data. Also, the TV in our room wasn't working. Honestly, this turned out to be a blessing in disguise, pushing us to spend more time enjoying the beautiful city around us.
Overall, I couldn't be happier with our choice. I would highly recommend Hotel Machiavelli for a wonderful stay in Florence!
The refrigerator in the room doesn't refrigerate at all.
I suspect they do this to same money on electric bill.
I don't recommend this place in a hot season at all.
Also, walls are poorly insonorized so you can hear when next-room people use water in the bathroom.
The staff was friendly and the view from the rooftop balcony was great.
