The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. A huge plus for a European hotel was the excellent air conditioning in our room.
There were a couple of tiny hiccups. The Wi-Fi, which was excellent for most of our visit, cut out on our last morning, though in fairness, I had used a lot of data. Also, the TV in our room wasn't working. Honestly, this turned out to be a blessing in disguise, pushing us to spend more time enjoying the beautiful city around us.
Overall, I couldn't be happier with our choice. I would highly recommend Hotel Machiavelli for a wonderful stay in Florence!
The refrigerator in the room doesn't refrigerate at all.
I suspect they do this to same money on electric bill.
I don't recommend this place in a hot season at all.
Also, walls are poorly insonorized so you can hear when next-room people use water in the bathroom.
The staff was friendly and the view from the rooftop balcony was great.
The room was clean, the equipment is not very recent but still more than worthy.
Good quality breakfast, perhaps a little expensive (15€/pax) but ok.

Quadrapul room was super big and comfortable. Although one of the cot was a creaky. Front-office staff were very friendly and helpful. Good restaurant options near by.
Good breakfast options. About 5-7 min away from the station. Price could be little cheaper.
