Hotel Tocq

Rooms were spacious enough; however, no closet space only a shelving unit. The rooms were clean enough but the floors and shelves were rather dusty. Breakfast was good with a nice selection. Staff was extremely friendly. We were able to walk from the Garibaldi train station and we also took about a 40 min walk to the Last Supper museum but there are trams, trains and taxis as well. We would stay again.

Hotel Tocq was a great place to stay. We stayed for 3 nights and had breakfast included. The breakfast selection was incredible and there were plenty of options for everyone. The room itself was stylish and comfortable. The only drawback was the noise that could be heard from outside as the hotel is in a very central area of Milan and there are nightclubs around.

I stayed here a total of 4 nights. I would have stayed longer if they weren’t already booked. Great location, a short walk to Garibaldi train station and just around the corner to the shops and restaurants of Corso Como. Check-in processes was quick. The room was clean, bed was comfortable, bathroom/shower was very modern with good lighting. Only a few issues to note, but no fault of the hotel. The room temperature was too hot for me, but A/C was disabled due to city rules. There was a towel warming rack in the shower I would have enjoyed but it was also disabled at the time (late October). The street was extremely crowded being next to several night clubs from 10pm into the early morning 5am. So much that I had trouble getting a taxi for my morning departure. Fortunately, the front desk staff (Luca) went above and beyond to communicate with the taxi service and ensure I was picked up. Thank you again to all the kind staff at Hotel Tocq.

Very nice and clean boutique hotel. Comfortable rooms, friendly staff, good location.

There are loud clubs very near, but thankfully in our room we didn't hear them (though I suppose this depends on the room's orientation and might vary for other rooms).

The room had good size, the bathroom was really nice and the towels were amazing. We loved the pillows and the blanket, still the mattress was a bit hard. The location of the hotel is so and so. Meaning that it is 30min walk from the city center, still in the area there are a lot of restaurants and stores. It is a nice place, although they were not ok with us having the dinner on their terrace and bring our own champagne to celebrate our wedding anniversary. But it was OK, we solved it with room service. So, yes, we recommend the hotel. The breakfast is really really good, there are a lot of dishes to chose from.

My family and I had a very nice stay here a month ago. We had a family room, essentially its own private door and then two rooms connecting by a small alcove. Rooms were clean, bathrooms nice and beds comfortable. The breakfast was excellent, and the all around service excellent. Great location as well.

Excellent boutique hotel that is well-appointed and conveniently located. I would absolutely return here for future stay in Milan. Included breakfast every morning was amazing, beautiful room, great shower, comfy bed, big TV, and safe surroundings. Walkable neighborhood right by the Garibaldi train station, with tons of shops and restaurants. Book here, you won't regret it!

Tocq hotel ended up being the perfect spot for our first time visit to Italy with 12 people ages 7-78! First, I was assisted in the booking process because we needed triples and quads since we were traveling with children. The staff was patient and helpful with my requests, and even sent me a link with the correct bundle of rooms so I could just click and pay instead of going through the multi room booking process. Upon our arrival we were greeted again with kind patience as the older members of our party arrived first and didn’t know what I had arranged. We were so lucky to have Rafael working during our stay. Besides getting us all set with our rooms he consistently greeted us with warmth, asked the kids engaging questions about their trip, directed us to popular spots and luckily spoke fluent English (as well as dozens of other languages). The hotel itself is very clean modern and comfortable. They even had individual gift boxes for the kids containing coloring and games, and a bathroom kit for each of them as well which was very thoughtful. This hotel is less then 5 minutes from a train station which was excellent since we were flying out of Milan. It’s located close to some fabulous restaurants and shopping. It does have a club scene in the neighborhood after dark that did not bother us one bit (and we could only hear it with the windows open), but it’s worth mentioning. If you club, it’s the place to be! We selected the breakfast included option which had choices of all Italian coffee styles, sparkling wine and juice, probably 30+ food varieties and lovely staff there as well. Ten out of ten would definitely recommend and will absolutely be back!
