We stayed 5 nights at residence porta Al prado The appartement was very clean and as descripted on the website. The beds are good ( excellent mattresses) one real positif point is that the windows are new added with the climate system the inside temperature of the flat was very good and we sleep quiet. Best place I’ve stayed in during my holiday. Staff was friendly and thoughtful, and extremely welcoming. We arrived early with our luggage and the staff immediately told us where the toilet was together with the water dispenser and snacks machine. The personnel was outstanding. Very kind and attentive. Grazie mille for making our stay so good! The location leaves a bit of uncertainty, but felt safe during daylight. Horrible. Do not come here if for less than one week. Stayed here three times before: excellent. Change of owner has made this place among the worst in 30 years of international travel. They only clean and change your room one time per week!!!!!!!! Not even anything to open a bottle of wine. We will NEVER return here again and Ivhave no doubt they will cancel this review. Pleasant enough apartment although we were only there for 1 night so didn't really utilise anything other than the bed and the shower! Very comfortable though and a very helpful night porter if anything was needed. Would use again.

I love this hotel! It is very convenient to stay especially to travelers since it is near the Tram going to the Airport. The bed was extremely comfortable. The room was spacious and clean. Would definitely recommend this hotel!

The rooms were very generous and big. It is very easy to commute to the city center (within 15-20' by tram). There are some really good and cheap restaurants around. The location therefore is super convenient. The hotel itself looks better on the picture than it actually is. There's also no 24/7 reception (09:00-12.00 / 15.00-20.00) which is a bit surprising. The place is very good to stay and visit florenzia, It's like a little cozy appartement. There is 1 downsides : 1st very minor, the environnement of the Hotel, it's surround by old building, but besides the view there is nothing to complaint about the noise or the people there.

Not too far from Florence SMN Station and very close to the tram stop. The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming and the Residence itself is very clean. The apartment was more than enough for what we needed while exploring Florence over a weekend and for the price is definitely worth it. Massive apartment, with great facilities… only downside is that if your looking for a good nights sleep, don’t stay here as the plaza square outside the balcony is always busy, buskers, music and people…

We stayed 6 nights there in early October. Given the low price and the excellent location, I had very little expectations. We arrived around 6:00 PM and the check in was fast and quick. We were pleasantly surprised to see there is a washer/dryer in the apartment. We later learned that this was the only apartment with washer/dryer, so do not get your hopes up. Location! Location! Location! Location! Windows of apartments open to the most enjoyable view of famed Duomo of Florence. Unlike most of the tourists you can just sit by the window and immerse yourself into contemplation of eternal beauty... As to the Palazzo Gamba apartments... they are exactly that - apartments for rent with daily cleaning. All basic conveniences in reasonably good working order...

Perfect stay here in Firenze (Florence) the view is AWESOME. The apartment is on the 6th floor. You are literally on the highest level of the bldg. The only one with this view!! Great time!!

Perfect location! Helpful and welcoming staff! We enjoyed staying in Palazzo Gamba! Though our two-bedroom does not have a view of Duomo, it is spacious, quiet, comfortable, and well-equipped. All major attractions are just within walking distance! A great base to visit Florence!

The strategic location, apartment very clean, a stunning view overlooking the rooftops of florence. Only flaw is the mattress which I found uncomfortable...and then there were no towels/paper napkins for breakfast.

Perfect location: close to the train station and with a lot of nice places to eat at a few steps. The rooms are simple but nicely furnished, bathrooms are small but colorful, clean and efficient. The hosts are very cheerful and happy to help. There's no proper kitchen but there's a efficient coffee machine and complimentary sweets for a quick breakfast. This place was great! The room was super cute and cozy, the shower got nice and toasty, and there was a towel warmer. The wifi actually worked, and the hosts were really easy going. This was my favorite place in our 3 week trip!

This little B&B was fairly nice. The room was clean and mostly comfortable. No one was working the desk the whole time we were there, so we communicated via message with the staff (which may be a preference for some people, not so much for us). For a cheap night's stay near the train station (it is easily within walking distance), this place can work out very well!

In a beautiful city like Florence, the "Locanda dei Poeti" is inserted as a small favor in the context of art and culture! I stayed there with my daughter for a few days of full immersion in the beauty and in art, and we were surrounded by quotations from poets or famous people...everywhere....on the walls, on the floor along the stairs of the small building of this hotel. Cleanliness excellent, rooms...

Getting inside was harder, they have three different codes for doors and gate, but once we got the right ones and got inside, we were satisfied. It was big, clean and had everything we needed (like parking space on property). You can walk down the hill to Porta Romana, it's not so far.

We traveled in a car and there was parking which was important for us (10 Euro a day). The staff was extremely nice and welcoming. The room is clean but somehow cold, I expected more. The service is nice. Wifi is good, and there is free parking. The terrace is the best part of the accomodation. The bus station is just across the street, so I recommend it to those who go to Florence with a car, beacuse you can just park it at the BB and then go to the city center by bus.

Rooms are very spacious. Bedroom, sofa, kitchen, dining room and bathroom with a bath!! Lovely lady at reception and breakfast is worth the €5 nice and quiet area.

Nice spacious apartment close to the center of Firenze. Airconditioning in the bedroom and the living room. Nice and friendly staff.
