Room were fairly nice, bed was very good, but the key card was very difficult to get the room lights to work. Every time we came back into the room the key card worked fine in the door lock but had to keep putting in the light slot to get the room lights to come on. Usually took 5 to ten minutes to get them to work. Very frustrating
Room is lovely but because of the location of this hotel, there's barely any good views to be had. (we can look at the docks and some cranes) What i find weird is that only one building seems to operate at this time. We have tried entering the first building but nobody seemed to be there. We didn't know where to go and just went to the other side which faces the road. Room service is great! They...
Very nice and comfy room. Breakfast is ok, gluten-free and dairy free options available. The island is easy to get to, the bus stop is in front of the hotel (nr43), airport bus is a 10-minute walk away (nr15). Very pleasant, would book again.
Nice, clean big room. Big comfortable bed. The only minus it was a bit cold in the breakfast area and the breakfast itself lacked vegetables, but the rest was simply very nice. Bus to Venice in front of the hotel. Sushi restaurant across the street so all good.
The Room itself is OK. It’s big and spacious. However, We are in the first floor and the view is the worst I’ve ever seen in my life so far. When I open the window curtain, there are smoke butts and other trashes in front of me (see pic). However, this must be a very popular hotel. I asked the front desk to exchange another room and was told that the whole hotel is fully booked. There is no other room
First things first… for those not wanting to pay at least triple the price to stay in Venice Centre this is a superb alternative. From Venezia Santa Lucia main train station (facing) turn left, walk over the bridge, get the number 4 bus for only 1.5 Euro, 4 / 5 stops and approximately a 10 minute walk. Hotel next to conference centre but better than just a business option , room size very large, comfy...

Room, small and uninviting, no tea/coffee making facilities in room. Shower hard to get into, and temperature keeps fluctuating from hot to cold. Breakfast was disappointing, very small plates, especially the breakfast bowls, and not much choice. However, the staff were efficient and helpful. Would not recommend for the price they charge.
Entered, beautiful customer service, but a terrible smell of what I came to figure a strong curry maybe?? Room was comfortable, but very worn ( bathroom, flooring, very basic, but bed clean and comfortable. Breakfast, fantastic offering and customer service. Located across from bus and train station, very dirty and somewhat seedy. Buses CRAMMED people in, and taxi was at least 23 euro each way to...
The location of the hotel is great. The hotel is at the exit of the train station. The room and bathroom are spacious. Everywhere is clean. The staff is kind and the check-in is fast. There is no need to stay in the center of Venice, it is very easy to get there from here. I think the price is acceptable. I made a reservation online for 140 euros for Saturday night and there was almost no other hotel...
The hotel was booked for us by an agent so we were unsure on what to expect. We had a very pleasant surprise. The travel links from the airport were direct and easy, we were then situated across from the train station which took 10 mins to get into Venice. The hotel is modern clean and welcoming. The bar cafe on the ground floor was very good with great service. Our room was very quiet which was ideal...
Nice clean and calm room and the location is great t near the Mestre main station and bus stop. Our family stay 2days and all is good including breakfast, but no salads. Our room is pretty good in Venice. Just in me, the room was not super cool even though we set 17°c whole days
Excellent location just opposite the Venice Mestre Train station. Rooms are very spacious. The reception staff are very friendly and courteous. Check in was smooth and thankfully our room was done early. A good choice to choose from at breakfast. Would definitely stay there again.

200m walk from station. Room is clean and comfy, we got a free upgrade. Just surprise that we have to pay €5 to store luggage as we arrive early and going into venice before check in.
We have had a lovely 3 nights stay here. This hotel is located near Venice Mestre so very convenient to get to and from Venice island, only 10 minutes on the trains or buses. The hotel room was clear and spacious. Even though it’s near the station, it was very quiet at night. Will definitely come back if we get the chance! 😊
The hotel is clean and nice. Room is big but unfortunately without a fridge and the bed is comfortable. Location is excellent as it is very close to the mestre station and bus stop that goes directly to Venice touristic center. Price was ok as well and don't forget to sign up and join the membership so as to receive offers and discounts.
Hotel is nice service is nice, but its nothing special. Breakfast was good, lots of breads and baked goods. Eggs were good, and they were really yellow for some reason. Rooms have the usual shower (no tub), toilet, bed(s). But notably it has a bidet which may be a suprise to some people! Definitely a good hotel.
Clean hotel. Good location close to train and bus station about 5 min walk. If you want to stay at Mestre, good option overall. Just giving 4 star since housekeeping left water stuck on basin on our Last day and didnt clean up-that was quite disappointing
Perfect location to travel by Bus or Train. Just 4 mins walk from the hotel. The staff is polite and friendly. The rooms are clean and kept well. Prompt service. Worth every bit of the money. Stayed from 5th June 2024-9th June 2024. Just ensure you take high rise rooms as it’s noisy during the night and the voices. Stayed here in December and had a wonderful time. Fabio and Rose were particularly amazing with their hospitality. Fabio made our trip by making some amazing recommendations for our time. It was our first time in Venice and we will definitely be back!
The room so big, and price not bad. walk around 5 mins can access to mcdonalds and big supermarket. only one disadvantage is too near train station. remember to bring ear plug to have a good sleep. if compare with venice island and old town. i think the location of this hotel great.
This September I was with my friend stayed in this hotel for one night, it’s just 500m from train station, and behind the bus station, surrounded by lots of restaurants and shops, super convenient, the room is spacious, comfortable and clean, I even met another girl from Beijing in the reception which was a coincidence, she was also with a friend, we had an interesting talk. It really a fun and lovely...
Large, comfortable rooms with a large king sized bed, 2 sofas which also opened up as single beds and a well equipped kitchen. There were even free coffee pods to use in the Nespresso machine. Staff very friendly and helpful. The bus and train station is a 5 minute walk away and the quickest bus took only 15 minutes to Venice. Highly recommended!
Friendly staff - helpful and greets you every time you walk past. Clean rooms - modern furniture and clean room overall. The bed frame has charging stations which is very convenient. Bedsheets were clean. Washroom - Has spacious standing shower (make sure to close the door properly or water will come out). Comes with two in one shower gel and shampoo as well as hand soap. Beautiful spacious rooms close to the train station. Check-in and check-out was a breeze. Only issue was that the showers in the room did not have a divider from the rest of the bathroom floor. I stayed at a&o Venezia Mestre for 3 nights in April 2024. What I liked: - Location: It's located a few hundred meters away from Venezia Mestre Train station and is very easy to locate. Also somewhat spacious and they have an ensuite bathroom with shower gel, hair dryer and hand...
Very good location, 5 minutes walk from Mestre train station. Good atmosphere and secured environment, attached bathroom with hand wash, shower gel, hairdryer, enough tissue paper all are there. Good 24/7 customer service indeed. Highly recommended. * Few headlights together in one room made me feel disturbed from my bed while sleeping and the authority can think to find a solution. :)
The ideal place to stay for a night when you have a trip to Venice) Location and price are so great! The rooms need renovation (toilet doesn't work properly, a USB socket on a bed doesn't work too, plumbing in the bathroom are dirty and worn). Room service is weak. But it was easy to book the room, pay for it, check in and check out. The lobby looks a quite comfortable and cosy. A good service at...

Overall had a great time here me & my girlfriend we stayed 4 nights in Novotel. First time in Italy we went to visit Venice, front desk staff was very helpful with arranging a taxi for us to anywhere we needed to go. Food here is good and prices are reasonable. They have nice bar area that the servers are nice and polite and are able to serve whatever you like! Rooms were very clean and beds were comfortable
It was ok. Room a little dated but clean. House keeping hit and miss no replacement water after our initial 2 bottles or coffees. TV was really old had to use a combination of remote control and buttons to turn on. Bath and shower nice. Good location for Venice a 14:minute walk and a bus to get there. Pool area nice.
I love Novotel but the staff in muestre could learn from those in Firenze. They never smile always grumpy. They act as if they are doing you a favour.
This is the best Novotel. Absolutely kid's and dog's friendly. Upon check-in, we received a small but very nice gift for the child and dog. There is a bowl of water and dog food in the lobby. Clean and beautiful swimming pool, playground for children. Restaurant with fast and friendly staff and very tasty dishes.
Very good for this type of accommodation. We wanted to see Venice, unscheduled, and was everything we need it for one night rest. Parking is also available. We did not use breakfast, optional service. Clean, warm, good price, might be reserved trough a travel platform and receive discount, Easy access location for the hotel. Hot water - tea & coffee in the room available.
It's a Novotel. You have the same bed and couch as in every other generic Novotel. The same rotating desk. The same ancient TV. Pool is literally freezing. I don't know how they do it. It's 35 degrees outside and the water around 18-20 (trust me, I'm Polish, I know cold water). There is a free parking, but very limited in space. There is an additional parking which costs 6 EUR per day. Yet lot of...

Hotel with a good location close to train station to travel to Venice.  Hotel is clean. My room on M floor is okay for a short stay. I found some issues during my 2-night stay; however, staff fixed the issues promptly. The staff at the front desk were very knowledgeable on how to get around the area and provided helpful information to navigate around the area and travel to Venice.
For a tourist hotel this is a very nice hotel. Very clean, comfortable bed and the room we had was larger than we expected. Breakfast was amazing. Great location. Right across the street from train and bus. We choose to take the train to Venice because the buses looked very crowded. The staff at the front desk were very knowledgeable and helpful with all our questions.
Beautiful hotel, one of the best things in the hotel is nearby Train station and bus station. It can take you to wherever you want, Outside of the city and inside. The staffs at the hotel are very friendly and the speak good English, they are always available to help guide you. The rooms are good and the breakfast is good also
If you're just passing through, this is a GREAT hotel. It is recently remodeled, so the interior design is appealing. The hotel is right across the street from the train station w/ equal access to bus & taxi pickups. The two concierge's we spoke with during our stay weren't super hospitable, but I can't imagine they were having fun! The breakfast was excellent and the bar is nice. The only thing that...
The rooms are little small than expected. Overall location of hotel is so good just opposite to bus and train station. You have to buy breakfast for $12/person. Cleanliness was good. The staff was polite and helpful. They don’t give out conditioners for hair wash and no iron for clothes.
I was a guest in this hotel for a short holiday visit to Venice. The single room that was available to me was spacious, bright and clean. The bathroom had a bath/shower and bidet, plenty of soft towels, soap, shampoo and shower gel. The complementary breakfast was very good. The hotel staff was polite, friendly and helpful. Far out of town. Rooms neat but quite average decor. Bathroom was nice Boiled spinach and meatballs for supper was disrespectful to my stomach. Breakfast buffet was OK, staff polite enough.
Pretty good, but nothing special. The included breakfast was very good. The room was a decent size, by North American standars. The location was a 2-minute walk from a good bus stop. Perfect for us, we were coming in from a late night flight and were welcomed at check in at 1am with a reindly face. The room was clean and spacious with all the amenities we were after. Great breakfast and just what we were looking for.
Such a bang for the money. We paid stupid less for a room for 3 and the room was perfect. I guess the price is because of the location but I can assure u that it is not a problem. With the bus system you can reach the island in about 15 minutes and almost every point in the city. The room was clean and the facilities good. Totally recommend it.
The rooms were not clean, not bathroom was stinking and the breakfast was really poor. This hotel is totally not at the level of a 4 stars hotel. To talk a bit more about the breakfast: the offer was extremely low, with bad fruit, bad bread (pre made bread which was dry) and almost no healthy options to eat.

A decent sized room, beds comfortable. Shower doesn't have much of a barrier and when I originally turned it on sprayed water everywhere. Once I'd worked it out it was a good pressure and temperature. Buffet Breakfast was OK, as expected for this kind of hotel - meaning over priced for what it was.
An affordable way to see Venice. Hotel is outside of the city a few miles so take advantage of their daily shuttle service for just 9 euro round trip! Clean comfortable rooms, fantastic front desk staff! Decent breakfast buffet. Restaurant menu is limited and the quality is just ok. Even so, I strongly recommend this Holiday Inn.
Personally I think this is one of the better hotels I've stayed at in Italy. Firstly, you need to know Italian hotels are tiny. This one is not. The room was the biggest we had and the bed was a super king size! Bathroom was also one of the more modern Italian ones we had. Again, Italian toilets seem to be very "quickly do what you need to do and get out". They almost always lack sufficient towel...
There’s a restaurant and bar with a decent selection and friendly staff. Room size was quite good and had comfortable bedding. Location is not great as the best way in/out is via taxi only. Walking is a hassle as you’d have to go out the back gate and hope it’s unlocked and is not close to anything. The front gate leads directly to the motorway!
The beds are hard but it might be the norm. The staff was helpful and polite. The only issue with the room was the refrigerator not being clean but at least there was one. There was a safe provided in the room. The shower had an interesting setup, it doesn't close. Shuttle available to Venice and airport, round-trip or one way for 6-9€. I would stay here again.
Very nice hotel. We booked 4 double rooms with IHG points and the staff were very helpful during check-in to make sure our rooms fit our large group. Overall, a good enough hotel. But a few things are lacking. It’s decently clean but could be better. Breakfast is ok, but could be better for the level of the hotel. And they have decent options including smoked salmon. Don’t expect a top service hotel and it’s going to be just fine.
I have stayed here several times in the last few years. Overall this is an excellent and very comfortable hotel, albeit located well north in an area more commercial and of shopping outlets. This hotel was a great pick for our last two days of our excursion. It is only maybe 20 minutes to the airport, very clean, spacious, and has most amenities. A good hotel, nice rooms, good beds, parking spot and a very nice breakfast. The hotel is located in the middle of a big shopping area on the outskirt of Mestre and has multiple options to reach the center of venice by public transport (bus and train).

A great hotel for a nice price. It was everything clean and the glass shower with ambient light in the superior room is fancy. Only thing I miss that EVERYTHING is built in one room. So it is y bit weird if you go to the toilet... other then that really cool place!
The ‘airport shuttle’ they advertised as coming with the room was a €35-50 euro taxi. I could (should) have selected something closer to the airport for a lesser overall price with better rooms/accommodations. Hotel seemed like a good choice at first. Friendly staff at check-in, room looked nice. Breakfast was not ready at the selected time
This hotel feels very cheap, not close to the four stars they claim to be. We stayed in a room with a bed and sofabed. The bed was quite comfortable, but the sofa-bed was terribly uncomfortable. We stayed at this hotel knowing we would go out to the islands of Venice. We talked to the hotel desk about going to Venice. They advised us that they sell a $25 bus ticket that takes you out and returns you right in front of the hotel. We took that as an option and it worked out really well for us. Food in the hotel was good was a nice restaurant and a bar and we appreciated both.
Very convenient location only a small bus ride away to Venice. Bus stops right at the hotel! Room (612) was spacious and clean but could use some robes and slippers. Not sure why I had to call reception to heat up the room and was a bit surprised when I called reception to clean leftover food but they never showed up. But overall a descent hotel with a very good breakfast
The hotel offers easy access to Venice, with a bus stop conveniently located right in front. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Buses are frequent, every 15 min, although they can be packed. €1.50 to go to Venice (free if you have a pass). €10 to airport. I would have no hesitation staying here again for leisure or pleasure.
Bus stop to the airport and Venice are right in front. Bars, grocery and fruit stores all around. Location is excellent. The room was huge and comfortable. A little hot. No view. The hotel's location is very good, but the facilities are very lacking. The TV channels in the room were not working, and it seemed like the TV was just for show. Additionally, the internet speed in the room was very slow, almost like 2G speed. I informed the staff that my room didn't have internet, but they said they would check and nobody did. I am disappointed with the facility.
Nice, clean hotel, friendly and helpful staff. Good location for access to Venice. There's a bus stop opposite the hotel. The only minor thing is there's only one iron available in the hotel. There's an ironing room on the 5th floor where you can iron all your clothes. But you might want to bring your travel iron incase the hotel one is in use. Also tea coffee facilities in the room, but that didn...
The hotel is very good, clean, staff very friendly and helpful. I would love to mention for great service Selene and Rocco. Near a supermarket it is also a perfect location, close to the bus station, to get into Venice Island. Very recommended!
Mold, blood, ruined furniture (I have seen better furniture in the trash), completely ruined floor and doors, no care for customers. Stay away, this is not a 4 star hotel!
Right in front of the bus station which will take you to the city centre and a 10min walk from the train station. Supermarket and cafés near. Staff is excellent

The Roma Hotel, (in Marghera, Venice, Italy) is a quaint little hotel, with a lot of charm. The hosts are very kind and gracious. The breakfast (included) was continental, which also had fresh panini's, hard boiled eggs, and the usual continental offerings. I love a hot breakfast myself, so having eggs on toast, helped to calm the beast in my belly. Our room had a front of the hotel view to the street...
Very friendly service and helpful as well. The hotel and rooms were very clean and tidy, and the breakfast was excellent. There’s a bus stop nearby that heads straight into Venice and the train station.
The location is very convenient with regard to Venezia Mestre train station (15 minutes walk, several stops by tram or bus) and also to Venezia (bus connection to Venezia-Piazza Roma). Very helpful staff, good breakfast. Convenient parking in the yard behind the hotel.
Hotel is perfect for couples. Location is only a few minutes from bus stop to Venice. Rooms and all area are clean and neat. The staff is really friendly and helpful. Breakfast - typical Italian :) all you can need and great coffee. The area are safe. Near you have supermarket, pharmacy, wine shop and in some days market with fresh vegetables.
Really very clean and nice hotel. The staff is very friendly so I absolutely recommend this hotel Definitely I will come back again
Nice location, close to bus stop. The rooms were nice and clean. The breakfast was great. We loved the private parking spots.

This was maybe the best hotel i have ever been so far. Great position, in front of the railway station, great modern larg rooms and great food
Location was great as hotel was situated opposite the train station. Room was clean and spacious, heating racks was provided too. However, the hotel has bad sound proofing. We stayed on level 2 and we could hear people dragging their luggages on level 1 at night. Along the corridor we could hear footsteps, people laughing, talking and dragging luggages. Highly recommend travellers to bring ear plugs...
Stayed here for one night in Venice before travelling to Bologna. Nice hotel, close to the train station. Room was a good size, bathroom was clean and rainfall shower was powerful. Didn’t get to try the breakfast buffet as we arrived late and left early. Would like to come back to Venice and explore the city.
Perfect location to travel in and out Venice each day and so many options to eat around the hotel and a supermarket o ly 100m down the road. The restaurant and laundry service were an added bonus!
This is a fantastic hotel for visiting Venice. 1. Real air conditioning (usa style) 2.100 yards away is grocery store 3. You are closer to the train station then the train station parking lot 4. The ten minute train to Venice leaves every ten minutes 5. If you buy an all day water bus ticket in Venice the trains are included. 6. The 10 euro breakfast is an all you can eat bargain. 7. If you get tired...
Hotel is nice and clean. Excellent location. Just right across the train station and not far from the bus terminal. A good location to stay for people like to go in and out of Venice. Just a short train ride into Venice main train station for a small fares. Good breakfast and enjoyed our stay. Nice and helpful staff. Even helped me to print a train ticket. Friendly staff at breakfast as well...

We were booked into this hotel after buying the mystery deal on wowcher. It's quite a way from venice centre and sadly not much around to keep tourists going. However there is a bus stop close by that you can get to mestre centre and venice. There is a lively little diner a few minutes walk away. The rooms are outdated but everywhere is clean, the staff are brilliant and helpful. It's not a 5 star...
Really good hotel for the price. Comfortable bed, good shower, friendly reception, well priced drinks available to purchase. 15 minutes walk to mestre town centre, half an hour walk or £15 taxi to the train station.

I recently stayed at this hotel with my partner for one night and found it to be a surprisingly pleasant experience, especially considering the affordable price. Despite having booked the room before reading a few negative reviews, I was pleased with what I encountered. The hotel's location is fantastic, with easy access to Venice via bus. This made it incredibly convenient for a quick trip to the...
Qute hotel at the end of the city. Tram to Venice is 28 min walk, but there is a bus infront of the hotel if you dont want to walk. But it does not go when you return at midnight. The room was too small, and no much place for clotes or for drying, when you are wet from rain. But everything work just fine: the bed is confortable, the toilet is large with bide, dryer and good shower. Hot water every...
Good hotel, clean bedrooms and bathroom. Close distance to bus stop to get you into Venice and a Lidl a few minutes walk away. Most of the staff were very friendly and happy to help. Warm at night! Ans we we wanted the heating turned off they came and did it for us. It’s not a perfect hotel but for what you pay it’s a good!
