Few mins walk from Milan train station :; helpful front desk; ok for short stay

Good a night stay before we have to head off from Milan. Nothing Fancy and in the evening, can be a little 'roudy'. but if you reach the hotel like 7/8pm, would be ok.

I arrived close to midnight and, as a solo female traveller, I was a bit anxious, especially after reading a few negative reviews, even though the hotel states that the front desk operates 24/7. To my surprise, everything went smoothly. The Terravision bus from the airport dropped me off much closer to the hotel than I expected. The route was easy to follow, the road was well lit, and I felt safe walking, even at that hour.
On the way, I passed a halal restaurant just before reaching the hotel, which was perfect for grabbing a late-night dinner. The front desk staff were polite and professional. My room exceeded expectations for the price: clean, well-sized for one person, and very comfortable. I turned on the air conditioning as soon as I arrived, and it cooled the room quickly.
Some reviews mentioned the bed being hard, but I found it perfectly fine. I checked out early the next morning to explore Milan and was happy to be able to leave my luggage at reception. Overall, a great stay, reassuringly smooth for a solo traveller.

If you are looking for a good nights sleep, this is not the place to have it.
Location is good as close to Milano Centrale. Beds hard with no give. Pillows so uncomfortable. Noisy neighbours. We could hear the conversation the residents were having in the nearby apartment building. Then each morning around 8am some hammering starts on a floor above or a wall somewhere in the building and that reverberates throughout the hotel so forget about a sleep in.

this hotel is so old and someone (maybe a staff) tried to open my door without knocking or asking. I was terrified by that

The positives: Great location, super friendly staff, food & water for purchase on site.
The negatives: Black mould in the bathroom. We were horrified to find spores of mould in our bathroom (pictures attached) & couldn’t fathom how a room could pass inspection with mould infiltration. Without the mould, we would have loved our stay here. We had just booked 1 night at Club Hotel and therefore just made do as this was a layover for us before leaving Milan, but we were severely disappointed in the health & safety of the bathroom. Hopefully this is adjusted & dealt with as otherwise this hotel could be a great option for others.
