Location is excellent because you can even walk to the centre if you want. I did it, and it's really not far. Reception staff 5* but the room given was right by elevator noisy and thin walls. Hearing everyone come up and down. The condition of the bathroom was nothing like the pictures. But I still liked the room it was big enough. Noise and the elevator didn't bother me so much. However, what left a really sour taste is the horrendously rude lady at breakfast. Who gave me a dirty look when I asked her for another espresso, literally ignoring me and chatting in her mother tongue like she's not there working. Her behaviour is absolutely appalling. I've never had such poor treatment in a hotel. Paying over £100 per night it's unacceptable. Especially after paying a lot. Price not worth it cos of her. Otherwise, I was happy. Lots of nice shops and restaurants. Easy to reach the airport too. Everyone in Milan was so nice except for the horrible lady at breakfast.

Needless to say the location is excellent. The room is not huge but very adequate for my needs. Bathroom is spotlessly clean, and all the amenities are functional. Staff are all very friendly and helpful. Overall an excellent and enjoyable place to stay.

Stayed here 5 days. 2 days in Milan and 3 days for day trips, location is a big plus since is near the train station.
Staff are very friendly and competent. They all speak english very well.
Room was very clean. A bit small and it was quite hot ( glad it had air conditioning ). Bathroom was also immaculate.
Breakfast is also top notch, big variety of pastries and breads.
Overall very satisfying experience!!

Best location for Milan Central railway station. Room was basic but clean and comfortable. Housekeeping lady was always friendly and gave a big smile in the mornings. Decent restaurants and cafes within walking distance.

This is a three star hotel. It is not luxurious, but it is clean and we felt very secure. Good thing about it is it is one block from Milano Central train station. So that is very handy. All of the staff was very nice and accommodating. The breakfast downstairs was typical European, fresh, sliced meat, hard boiled eggs, plenty of pastries and bread. A number of different coffees to select from and juices. Cost €15 each. The room we got was small with two twin beds. The beds were firm, but we got a good night sleep. Even though we were on the second floor, the window, which would open so you can get plenty of fresh air. Had a shutter which was Electric and you could close at night so the room would be nice and dark. No street noise!. As far as getting around you could take the subway downstairs or just a couple of euros and get to the main shopping district. Also, where the Duomo is, the large cathedral. Watch out for the guys on the street wanting to gift you a piece of colored string. Next thing you know they’re hitting you up for donation. I offered eight euros and he wasn’t very happy with that so we went on our way. Just avoid them.

Very simple hotel. Staff were great, so was the location. Negatives:
- VERY loud. You can hear every step and voice in the building. Don’t plan on getting sleep after 6am once people start moving.
- Cleaning staff starts cleaning at 7am, thus adding to the noise. I had earplugs and couldn’t get a wink of sleep.
- Beds are pretty firm and don’t come with blankets… so you’re just sleeping under a few bedsheets.
- The room we got was VERY small. Think Japan hotel room small - bed, desk, and about a foot between. Shower was hard to use due to size - you keep bumping into the water handle.
Just my $0.02. I saved some money here, but probably will spend a little extra to avoid this hotel next time.

Super clean hotel and no bad smell at all.
Breakfast is perfect, though there is no halal meat but still you can find alot of other options to eat.
2-3 mins walk to Milan's Central station which was perfect to move around the city.
Staff are nice and helpful.
Shower is a bit small but manageable, and the walls are too thin basically you can hear through them but it was fine since the visitors were all polite and quiet.
Would definitly stay at Bernina hotel if i ever come back to Milan.

I highly recommend this hotel for people traveling to Milano. It is very close to Milano Central Station, with two metro entrances nearby (2-3 mins by walk).
If you want to walk to the main entrance of the train station (Italo, Trenitalia), it takes just 5 mins from the hotel.
Our room was kept very tidy and had plenty of towels. We had separate beds (two single beds), which were really nice and comfortable.
The large window has automatic curtains to block out the morning sun. The AC is very effective, and even when turned off, the room remains cool due to the hotel's central air conditioning system.

Highly recommend! Booked at a spur of the moment trip with friends and stayed with a cousin for 4 days last week from CA. Simple yet clean room with all necessary amenities. Love the mini ref and coffee maker though only used for making tea at night. We were only there at night and early mornings but appreciated their good buffet breakfast and proximity to metro and central station and restaurants are close by.Excellent service from all friendly staff esp Francesco at the front desk who was very accommodating with our needs. He asked the gracious lady in charge of the Buffett to give us croissants and coffee for our quick to go breakfast the morning we had to leave at 6:30 AM for our St. Moritz, Bernina train trip even if they open at 7-10 AM. Also left our luggages overnight for our lake como trip. He even lend us his charger when we forgot to bring a converter and called taxis for us when needed. Will definitely stay here again!

Small rooms, small bathroom, basic accommodation. Wifi is slow, but the air conditioning is good. Basic hotel matches the low price. No real issues, just not luxurious. You get what you pay for, and this is fine for a couple of days.
