What is the point of having a 24hr front desk when they can't do anything for the customer...
The next day we leave early in the morning for a day trip and press the “do not disturb” button. To our shock, we come back to our room tidied, but we were displeased as it has never happened before. We go down and let the receptionist know how upset we are because we did not want anyone to go in and the receptionist instead of giving a simple apology or even “Oh we hadn’t realised I will investigate it” goes on to say what time did someone go in, what is your proof, is anything even stolen and starts shouting. We were basically called liars and that no one came in the room despite the fact that our items were moved and bedding folded etc. He could have come up to check or provided a kind word or simply said yes they went in and we did not know you didn’t want that. We come back the next day to tell another receptionist and she (calmly) informs us that in their hotel the button doesn’t mean anything, that the staff would still go in and that we should have informed reception if we did not want anyone to go in and that “this is how it works”. Since when does the button not mean anything?
They also don’t have irons to borrow and do not give any “supplies” like tissues and hangers after the maintenance staff leaves because they “lock the cupboard”(?)
They only give one keycard per room and will not give a second which is a hassle if there’s more than 1 person in the room.
After checking out, I received an email from booking.com saying that the hotel have not checked us in. Not sure what that’s about either, but it seems fishy.
Overall, would not recommend or come again.
The reception is open 24/7. The people at the reception, all of them, were really nice and helped me with any info i needed and also calling a taxi for me at a certain hour.
I definitely recommend this hotel!
when we asked to provide us a second key, as we were 2 guests with 2 different schedules, they said it was not possible!! Meaning every time we had to use the bathroom and take the room key with us, the other person was without electricity in the hotel room.
Also when one was getting back later than the other, the receptionist had to open the door.....
When asking for a 2nd key, they declined, when asking for another room or a cancellation they told us to contact Booking.com.
When we said whether hey actually cared about their customers and any reviews, they said we can happily write a bad review.
What is that? A big joke. They don't care about their customers only about money.
Customer service: 0.
But overall my stay here was very pleasant, I only stayed one night but i got in early and the front desk staff was very polite and held by baggage while I went around Milan. The rooms were small but comfortable and clean the best part was the balcony.
Location was great really close to main attractions but also tucked away enough where there aren’t tourists and can give you some time to decompress.
Amar (I think it’s how you spell his name)
At the front desk is so nice he made me a cappuccino and croissant even after breakfast was over. While I was sitting, every person who came through the lobby he treated with such respect and kindness.
it's just a horrible customer experience. They was rude and told me that they never make mistakes. "It is your problems get out from our hotel right now" - the only one thing the receptionist can tell me. this all happened in front of the eyes of another hotel guest who was trying to help me
During 3 days after that horrible customer situation nobody even apologized. I think it is a must to get moral compensation for my ruined vacation.
