Except Alberto, every staff we met was quite nonchalante.
Don't go for the breakfast, the buffet was empty at 8:00 and no one cared to prepared some more food. 15e to scrap for some leftovers in a so called 4 stars hotel.
The room was not bad, not great either.
To sum it up, that's not a place I'd recommend to friends or family.

Hotel Victor is a beachfront jewel born in Miami's Art Deco heyday of the 1930s. Recently renovated by interior designers Yabu Pushelburg, this historic hotel has become one of South Beach's premier playgrounds. Every impeccably designed room has views of the ocean.

This hotel cancelled my room without notification, leaving me with nowhere to stay at 10pm. The reason was that my "credit card was rejected". However, I've used it successfully before and since with no issues. I even used the hotel's own web site to book. My card is clearly valid, but the hotel says it followed "standard practice". If standard practice at this hotel is to cancel confirmed bookings without notifying the customer in any way, then I can only advise to look elsewhere in Milan for hotel rooms.

Old grandeur, but the age is starting to show.
Very busy interior, but that’s my personal opinion, I can imagine that some people like the style.
Tiny room, old bathroom with barely space to move around.
Bed was good. Didn’t manage to control the temperature in the room. Quiet street, I slept on the street side without outside noise.
Good for a one day business trip, but not for personal travel.

Nice little hotel in a good location. Rooms are fine. Nothing more nothing less. What gives this place four stars is their staff.
Extremely helpful and welcoming. That makes a great deal.
Breakfast is of Italian standard... So all ok.

Comfortably adequate rooms and bathrooms. Great coffee and buffet breakfast. Only criticism is that the air-conditioning is non-existent. Rooms were so hot it was difficult to sleep. We did bring this to the attention of the managers but little could be done. I sense it is just an age issue. That said, the managers were very accommodating and friendly, especially Massimo.

The hotel has a quaint courtyard garden that is well protected and very quiet. Good access to public transport and 20min walk to Duomo. I found the hotel to be clean and nicely appointed. I would have liked to give it 4 stars but sadly the air conditioning was a big drawback, especially as it was summer time in mid August.

Shocking stay. It is the Fawlty Towers of Milan but without the charm or professionalism!

When we checked in we had booked a superior double. They tried a sneaky one to give us a classic double which was prob same size as a prison cell - although the prison cell would be more comfortable with pre space and working power sockets.

Only after complaining vigorously did they give us the room that we had booked and paid for. But considering this was our first impression, didn’t make us feel very welcome. Tip: make sure you tally up the pictures on their website to the room you have booked!

Breakfast is funny until you realise that you have paid money for it. The staff are so angry and miserable! Heaven forbid if you ask for cutlery! How dare you! Haha

They are so environmentally conscious that they will give you one towel between two of you which they won’t wash for 3 days. Commendable - but also very cheap and skanky.

Location is ok. Next to a supermarket and McDonald’s and restaurants. It is safe. It is about a 20 min walk to Duomo Cathedral. So great for getting your step count in.

Honestly there are so many better options in Milan. Don’t make the mistake we made by staying here. Save yourselves!

We arrived at the hotel for a long weekend on Friday. We were greeted by Alberto, who was very friendly and helpful, recommended a super restaurant nearby, and even called them to let them know we would be arriving soon. The hotel is elegant and decorated in an antique style. Breakfast was plentiful and varied, and the waiter there was also accommodating. However, I cannot speak highly of the cleaning staff. They knocked on the door all 3 days and even opened it in the morning when we were still asleep. Even though the do not disturb mode was on the wall panel. I have never stayed in a hotel where they came to clean before the morning, and even on the last check-out day, they tried to go in 3 times, even though we had to check out by 12. This was very annoying, and when we reported it to reception, the response was a simple 'sorry' on Sunday. Also, she did not take out the rubbish and threw the pajamas on the bedside table. Overall we had a good time, but I suggest a review of the cleaning regime as it was very disruptive and unpleasant.

I couldn't sleep with all the mosquitoes. Maybe they wouldn't be here if the room was cooler, however, the air conditioning control barely works, very weak AC.

My bathroom is tiny and the walls are so thin, I hear every sneeze on the entire floor.

The worst thing is there is no dead bolt on the door and no 'do not disturb' sign, so the staff walks in on you naked if you don't respond to the knock fast enough.

Really nice, affordable hotel in a good location near the city center and transportation.

Parking is free but space is limited, so try calling ahead or hope you get lucky.

A lot of reviews mention the size of the rooms: yes, they are small. And they could be better designed (in my case, the bathroom was nearly as big as the actual sleeping area); but they're also cozy and well maintained. You won't be cartwheeling around the room or sleeping a full family in them, but for someone traveling by themselves or a couple who don't mind snuggling together, this is a very solid choice of hotel.
