This hotel was great, the staff were amazing , rooms spacious, clean and comfortable. The only reason I haven’t given a ten is because the air conditioning in our room wasn’t the best but it’s nice that you can open the windows. Apart from that everything was perfect . Some great restaurants nearby too .There are also great transport links by this hotel , Metro, trams and buses . We would definitely stay here again

This is the first time we experienced no electricity in the hotel room.  We wait at the room and call for the reception to fix it.

Nice, basic, business hotel. Nothing fancy but everything you need. Which is the whole idea when you just need a clean place to sleep. Very well located, 9 minutes walk to Ca Granda Metro station. Nice breakfast buffet. Lobby desk staff very attentive.

To begin with one clear point: this should not be classified as 4-starts hotel. The building was so poorly maintained with stains and wholes in the carpet. The bathroom in the room was a desastre. When we turned on the show water was all over the place as there wasn’t a proper isolation in the tub to avoid water coming off to the floor, even the toilet bowl got wet. Not to mention the lack of cleanliness, we found a clump of woman hair close to the soap dispenser.
The bed was nice but bed sheets were rough and a little uncomfortable. The smell of cigarette smoke was present in the room even though that was a non smoking one.
Location was ok, very close to metro station and trams.
Very disappointed with Novotel/ibis with this one. Wasn’t expecting such problems to a 4-start hotel.

Everything was very good (service, food, beds) except extremely old elevator, bathroom, rest rooms near taverna on the ground floor. This building must be renovated as soon as possible. The breakfast is quite poor for 4 stars. Very strange and not very comfortable pillows, but good mattress. Common air conditioner first day didn't work at all. We were wet during the whole night. After something was changed into better way. Still water was refilled every day. Safe box worked.

If I could give zero stars I would. This hotel has 4 stars and no class. We payed the required tourist fee which we were informed prior to our arrival would be 5 euros per person per night. We each had to pay 2 euros extra and when we went to check out suddely we had to pay 21 euros extra because their coworker made a “mistake” when we checked in the first day and only charged us for 3 days in stead. Fair enough it’s a human error and we pay the fee because we have a flight to catch. But the breakfast food gave us severe food poisoning, the rooms were not clean and the staff barely spoke English or had very bad customer service. Do better

Overall is quite good. We booked the double room for 2 adults and 1 kids (5 years old), but we have to upgrade our room to triple room with extra charge. I have complained about this because our child don't need to upgrade to triple room but they said this is the regulation of their hotel, while we also lived at novotel milano, they are not like this.

The hotel is clean, and the staff is friendly. We were also able to check in earlier than expected, which was a nice touch.

Overall, the stay was satisfactory; however, several aspects did not meet the expectations of a four-star hotel. The television in the room was outdated and not a smart TV, which significantly limited entertainment options such as Netflix or YouTube. Additionally, the hotel did not provide creamer for coffee, which was a minor inconvenience.

The hotel is located approximately 20 minutes by tram from Milan Central Station, with Tram No. 5 offering a direct route.

We also experienced difficulty charging our devices due to a broken USB port in the room. Unfortunately, no member of the engineering team was available on Saturday to address or resolve the issue.

The property is very close to the Ca Granda Metro Station (M5) which is very convenient. Reception staff were nice and the lobby looks good. The property also provides two bottles of drinking water to your mini-fridge every morning.But that's where the positives end.

Once you enter the room, you notice the old daggy furniture, not all lights in the room work and constantly emit a humming buzz. No glasses are provided, only paper cups. The shower floods the entire bathroom, and the shower head is covered in calcium buildup. The tinny old TV won't turn off on the remote (pressing Power inputs channel 1 instead of turning off, needs to be turned off on the TV itself). When I tried calling the reception, found out the phone wasn't working, I had to go downstairs to speak to them and they said they get a technician to come fix it soon. Three nights later, time to check out and such technician never rocked up, phone still not working.
The cherry on top of the cake, after receiving an e-mail overnight (in Italian only) saying all was good to express checkout, I made a point of going to the reception to give my keys and make my way to the airport. Was greeted and, once more, confirmed all was good. 5 minutes later, the receptionist is chasing me down the street to say the check-in staff had forgotten to charge the city tax. I checked, and they had indeed, so I provided my card details for the charge. So, I thought the check-in experience had been good, I was wrong.
