I mean the rooms are ‘clean’ but there was a terrible odor coming from the bathroom drain and they wouldn’t help us out. We asked multiple times to change rooms. Also, no hot water in the shower and they kept saying it would be fixed. The pricing is decent so I guess you get what you pay for but there’s no way I would stay again. The entire surrounding area nearby the central station is kind of run down. If you have a family, I would recommend finding somewhere nicer to stay maybe to the further west. The only nice part about the hotel is it is in walking distance from the train station so hauling your bags there isn’t a problem.

Great location with train and airport minutes away. Less fortunate hang around the area. Showers were not functioning properly with intermittent hot water. Single small elevator is a challenge and no stairwell lights. Probably historic building making it a challenge to renovate, but lighting and water should be fixed.

The hotel is renovated and the rooms are modern with air conditioning and big beds (quite hard matress thou). The walls are very thin and you can hear all the noises from your neighbor. The staff are friendly but the service could be better. The breakfast is not very good. The biggest problem with this hotel is the location. The street outside the hotel doesn't feel safe. You can see a lot of poverty and people with mental health issues around the area near the train station. We stayed here for 2 nights and it was stressful. Not what you hope from a vacation.

Breakfast is really not to recommend, looks and tastes like the food has been standing there for weeks. Staff is rather unfriendly. When we arrived, we were told there would be no reservation, even though we showed our reservation from booking.com. Then we were told to pay a higher city tax than it was written on our online-booking.
We paid the whole booking in advance, nevertheless the staff asked us to pay again for our room when we left, and repeadedly asked us to pay for the city tax. It all seemed just super unorganized. The rooms are okay for the price.

This hotel is a very nice, remodeled building within walking distance of the train station. The rooms are beautiful and clean. They have taken time to provide an environment conducive to rest from the busy city. The staff are great, especially, Michaela, who helped me get a last minute room during a crisis. Highly recommend!!

Room was decent, had everything it needed. Location was very dangerous but overall close to the metro. The first night, we found a huge cockroach on the window curtain. Also the same night we went out on the balcony which you also had to share it with the whole floor, we found a lot of trash the floor. Bathroom size was okay, but it didn’t get cleaned. The breakfast was also very poor.

Lovely renovated hotel, close to the train station for an overnight stay may be a great option for a cost effective clean/nice room. However, "the area is not family friendly" or ideal for solo travellers. Staff are great, military and police on every corner due to the activity in the area! We were in a group of 7 with 2 small children and didn't have any issues but stay vigilant and alert.

Hotel Dei Mille is a good, clean hotel offering a good breakfast for 10 euro's. Friendly staff very professional!
It is close to the cafe/restaurant area, also 5 min walk to Napoli Central Railway Station. You can also walk to many famous Italian tourist attractions.
However Napoli Central area is not what is when I last was in Naples in 2009. It is not the clean , safe environment I remember. Be aware of pickpockets,criminal activity is high in this area. However I still felt safe thanks to the Italian Police and Army patrol.
Don't let me deter from staying at this affordable hotel, just be aware of your surroundings.

Rooms are cozy with comfortable and big beds. We enjoyed our stay here. Breakfast was quite nice with lots of choices. The area feels little bit sketchy, but hotel is very nice and clean!

The hotel is very conveniently located next to Garibaldi station, that's a great connection point and all of the tourist main parts of the city can be easily reached by foot. Area, as in every city around the main train stations, is a bit dirty and sketchy, but we did not feel unsafe. Some nights it was a bit more noisy, but this can be easily solved with earplugs.
Stuff was nice and the breakfast amazing.
Our room had a bit of weird smell (nothing terrible) and the bathroom door could not be fully closed. The wifi did not work properly, furniture was a bit shabby and I would really appreciate bedside table lamp. Overall, I would still recommend this hotel as a very solid budget acommodation.
