Villa Igiea lies a couple of miles outside of the centre of Palermo but the regular free shuttle service means you don’t have to spend money on taxis or track down somewhere to buy a bus ticket. The hotel is an oasis. It has everything you need to relax and unwind. The hotel is a historic and interesting old building with art noveau styling throughout. Our room was large, had hardwood floors, and well furnished. Though opulent the hotel is showing wear around the edges and could use some rehabbing. Service was attentive, if understaffed, likely due to the fact we visited in the off season. Hotel is not walking distance to the tourist attractions in Palermo.

Beautiful and elegant hotel right in the centre of historic Palermo - literally a stone's throw from the hustle and bustle of the restaurants and bars. Good continental breakfast selection. Quiet hotel just around the corner from Vittorio Emmanuel and promenade. Breakfast selection was good and the staff were uber attentive. Special mention to Sara who was always cheerful and efficient in serving everyone. There is a small gym which was adequate for a few sessions and a wellness center as well.

Hotel located in a strategic position with regards one of the most ancient neighborhoods of this spectacular city whose paradox and contradictions are peculiar aspects of her beauty. Beautiful boutique hotel by the marina. 5 minutes walk from some of the best Palermo restaurants & walking distance to tourist attractions.

I had two great dinners here. The menu is always different because they use only the freshest products. The restaurant is tiny but very cozy and quiet, with a nice vista of Palazzo Steri. The waiters were adorable and always available. The spa is also good, very nice and clean.

Really nice hotel in the heart of Palermo, great localization, my room was in good condition but not perfect, had some minor issues. The hotel and room were clean. Due COVID-19 is hard to review breakfasts, you could order from 20 positions list (most were sweets and cakes, some traditional from Sicily ) everything was OK but not above average.

Staff here were lovely and helpful. Loved our room (and weirdly the lamps 🤣) our breakfasts though included were limited (one of us being vegan and the other gluten free) but it all looked delicious and we still ate enough to see us through til lunch. Would definitely recommend and visit again!

Nice property but poor maintenance. It is a bit worn and the air conditioning in my room was insufficient for cooling, even after advising me to keep it on even when I was out. In general the idea is that they are not more been made the ordinary maintenance when it was open.

Upon arrival, they initially wanted to give us a room facing the corridor, after a complaint we were given another. The room is minimally equipped, two people get one chair and one glass. A kettle was not provided upon request. At breakfast, the cakes are fresh and delicious. Italian coffee and cappuccino are also available upon request. We were slightly apprehensive about booking this hotel due to some negative reviews, but we decided to book it for a night and were pleasantly surprised by the service, room, and breakfast. There was plenty of free parking outside the hotel, with an option for paid parking as well. There is no kettle in the room. Staying at Hotel NH Palermo is a pleasure. All of the staff is incredibly friendly. The breakfast spread was impressive and very well done. They were very accommodating and patient. Even as an American using Google translate for communicating a severe tree nut allergy.

Hotel lovely and spotless. Housekeeping great. Reception staff are excellent and speak great English. Very helpful giving directions and suggestions where to visit. Breakfast was good. Although you had to ask staff to replenish unless you were down before 8am.

This is a nice spot with a close proximity to the four corners area and the market. The area around it is fine and is easily walkable. My major concern is how hard the beds are, the management needs to invest in something softer.

Reasonable rooms and facility compared the pricing but I found the front desk staff might be more friendly then they were since I never seen they smiled once. The rooms are small but clean, comfortable bed and breakfast with plenty of choice.. WiFi fairly fast. Excellent view of the highest floor, I recommend making a jump to the 12th and top floor to watch from the only window in the view.

Stayed here for three nights and loved every minute of it. Perfect central location, rooms are brand new and completely updated, cleaning staff’s attention to detail is immaculate, and the breakfast was delicious. This is a stunning hotel and we enjoyed our stay very much!

Great location and it is easy to see that this was once a pinnacle of luxury. Despite efforts to keep the hotel up to its former glory, there are noticeable signs of aging. That aside, the rooms were very clean and spacious, the staff friendly and accommodating and breakfast in an opulent ball room felt quite luxurious.

It was a good location, food at the restaurant was relatively good. (Though you don't get to chose the food so it was hit or miss in that regard) Elevators made funny noises, scared a few patrons. The Eurostars C Palace is spacious and lovely. Its furniture, which some of them preserved from the original period, was an exceptionally wonderful thing. Stayed for 3 nights some months ago. Hotel is lovely and location is great. Breakfast is nice. Booked a single room and felt like Cinderella… when she was living with her stepmother. It was tiny, with barely any excuse at decoration and peeling paint. The bathroom was also very small and the shower had barely any room to move in.

Very comfortable hotel located in the middle of the city. Easy to get to and from. Great base of operations while in Palermo. The major issue here is that the Wifi signal is very weak. Easier to turn it off and go with 4G service.

Beautiful hotel located in heart of Palermo. Close walk to explore the city. The hotel itself and the rooms are beautiful and clean. We at first had trouble connecting with our wifi and 2 staff members were present to address it within 5 minutes of us calling. Great service and stunning location.

The hotel is in a great location in elegant v. of Liberty. Spacious and comfortable room. Poor breakfast and almost absence of parking are the two aspects a little lacking in a situation of good quality for other aspects

Central, but quiet because they are immersed in the English garden. Very good welcome and good breakfast. The suite is very comfortable, a mini apartment with a terrace and jacuzzi. It is really worth the money spent.

Breakfast tasty, plenty of food and drinks to choose. Great view from the room, you can see the panorama of Palermo.

Overall, its a very good hotel to stay at given the price. The staff were all delightful and more than happy to help. Check in was a quick and easy, and the rooms were amazing as well, spacious and modern. The major downside of the hotel is the location. If you are not renting a car then do not consider it, period. Other than that I have no complaints.

Parking on site, amazing views over Palermo, restaurant has some good food as well, but that comes with the price. Rooms are clean, gym is nicely equipped, and there is a pool table as well. Really enjoyed our stay.

The Hotel is located on the top as compared to Palermo. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Swimming pool, located in a strategic position, with views across Palermo. The staff are polite and helpful.

It is a budget hotel with good services, quiet, with a pool next summer well, it is away from the city, but they all have transfers direct to the city, the breakfast maybe we miss more variety of fruit, the restaurant is ok, in summary and.diempre taking into account what you pay for complies with what is expected, unless the wifi but it has been in almost all of Sicily

The Massimo Hotel is located near many of the historical sites as well as the local markets. The room is a good size, but the “double” bed we had was very uncomfortable. Beautiful hotel directly across from Teatro Massimo and walking distance to lots of shops and restaurants. Room was beautiful and clean, bathroom was roomy and had a big shower. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. One of our favorite hotel stays while traveling 2 weeks through Europe!

Good points for the hotel are that the local area is quiet, hotel has good quality beds and rooms are clean. We were given a small cramped room no 204, but outdated decor. No soaps, or creams provided just shower gel in a squeeze bottle. Weak a/c unit and the walls were very thin which meant you heard everything thru the walls. Average hotel in the old City of palermo ..... not much as facility's and quite small rooms but the staff are really welcoming

Breakfast and rooms were excellent. However, we had two rooms and in one the air didn't work. Also the parking was awkward and a block away. You had to lug your luggage there. For the parking the service was less than expected since we paid extra for it.

Located in the central area full of activities day or night. Small but comfortable rooms. For parking you have to rely on luck or have to resort to that agreement.

Decent rooms, awesome location! I slept on a third extra bed, which was way too short for me, but it was decently comfy. The room itself was big and clean. Breakfast could use a bit more variety, but altogether it was good.

Nice, beacose it is in the middle of the centre, but there isn't any swimming poll. The hotel is also big and there are some food in the freadge. It also have lift. The breakfast is good and it is at 8:00. I recomended this hotel.

Rooms were nice and hotel was clean overall. However, service was substandard and basic things like wifi aren’t really good. Wifi is very slow and almost not connectable. Reception staff not very friendly and breakfast is OK.

Lonely hotel near the Politeama theatre, and also to a pedestrianised area with lots of choice of restaurant, cafes, shops etc. Pleasant helpful staff. However the aircon didn't cool the room enough, which is a must in the Sicilian summer. Breakfast ok though a little limited in choice. If you are there to watch TV (really?) only Italian language was available, not even BBC, CNN etc.
