We had a wonderful stay at Villa Igea. The food was absolutely amazing, and the service was equally impressive. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely cared for throughout our visit.
One small detail I noticed, however, was that for a hotel in this price range, you expect everything to be perfect. The garden could have been better maintained some of the palm trees...
A Truly Five-Star Experience at Villa Igiea
From the moment we arrived at Villa Igiea, the experience was next-level. We were kindly offered a room upgrade at check-in, and that small gesture made a huge difference. The extra space gave our kids room to play and relax, and it gave my wife and me the rare chance to enjoy a peaceful moment together on the terrace—just the two of us. It completely elevated...
Excellent property! We had an amazing time staying in the beautiful villa. We will stay there again next time
We had a wonderful experience at Villa Igiea! Everything was exceptional - the room, the stunning views, the food, the staff and overall service, etc. One particular experience that was above and beyond was when Phillip, a member of the front desk staff, brought his personal backgammon set for us to play after my husband had expressed interest in finding a board in town and playing. Would definitely...
I recently had the pleasure of working with Villa Igiea in Palermo, Italy, for a set of very special clients—and I couldn’t be more impressed. From start to finish, the service was truly exceptional. The entire team exceeded expectations, delivering an experience that was both luxurious and personalized.
A special thank you to Alessia, whose attention to detail, warmth, and professionalism made all...
Villa Igiea is honestly incredible. The place is even more beautiful in person—everything from the views to the decor is just next level. It has this amazing old-world charm but still feels super luxe and comfortable.
Our room had the dreamiest view, and the whole vibe of the hotel is so peaceful and elegant. Perfect spot to unwind. The pool area and gardens are stunning too—we spent hours just relaxing...
Slightly outside Palermo city center for great sea views All was just perfect in the room: size, bedding, amenities. Substantial staff assigned to keeping everything clean and tidy, 24 hours a day Extremely welcoming and efficient staff.

The massage, the service, and the smile was just perfect. Me and my wife had a great afternoon, relaxed to the max, and enjoyed every minute of the spa. I would recommend this to anyone interested in some relaxation during your stay in Palermo.
Quiet location. Modern rooms, recommend superior room with balcony. Nice breakfast on terrace.
Quiet hotel just around the corner from Vittorio Emmanuel and promenade. Breakfast selection was good and the staff were uber attentive. Special mention to Sara who was always cheerful and efficient in serving everyone. There is a small gym which was adequate for a few sessions and a wellness center as well.
Hotel located in a strategic position with regards one of the most ancient neighborhoods of this spectacular city whose paradox and contradictions are peculiar aspects of her beauty. Room was spacious as well as the bathroom and mostly quiet. Cleanliness has been also appreciated. Staff on a whole very courteous and efficient. For sure my favorite spot for future stays. Bravo!
Beautiful boutique hotel by the marina. 5 minutes walk from some of the best Palermo restaurants & walking distance to tourist attractions.
The hotel is perfectly tucked away on a safe, quiet street right next to the harbour but a minutes walk to the old town, restaurants and markets. Breakfast is served on the exquisitely picturesque roof terrace until a leisurely 11am. Quality cold cuts and everything else your heart desires with the most charming service. It was a great surprise to be located in the very heart of Palermo. Great choice, nice rooms, good breakfast and friendly staff! Highly recommended!
We came for the day spa as an early Valentine's day morning. We had the spa area to ourselves for an hour and then a couple's massage for an hour. The facility was wonderful, clean, and in good repair. The staff were kind, professional, and did an excellent job. Both massage therapists knew some English. Highly recommend and plan to return. Location is great too. Just be aware that it's in the...
Located in the center of Palermo, it is a 10-second walk from the intersection of Via Maqueda and Via Vittorio Emanuele, which are a must-see for tourists. Tourist attractions such as the Royal Palace and the Cathedral are within walking distance, and there are many restaurants around at night, so there was no problem. The hotel is one of the safest in Palermo, as it is a pedestrian zone with constant...
This is my second time here. I have overlooked the first errors concerning the navigation. Then I was faced with a room, which means an almost shapeless hole, further,. The keys don't work, it's terribly difficult to access my car, so I had to take a taxi to pick up my friend at the airport! The condition of the rooms has not changed in five years!!! Ps: I came here for a serious anniversary!...
What a great location. Cannot get more central than this. Well modernized old palace with a magnificent courtyard where breakfast is served and possibility to enjoy a drink. Friendly staff and overall a very nice experience.
Beautiful and elegant hotel right in the centre of historic Palermo - literally a stone's throw from the hustle and bustle of the restaurants and bars. Good continental breakfast selection. Our bedroom was comfortable and modern, and very clean. Highly recommend if you want to be at the heart of everything.

After a nightmare check-in at another hotel we booked two last minute rooms at Al Balhara. On the phone, and even more in person the staff were so helpful and ensured our arrival was seamless and stress free.
Instantly we felt like we had entered paradise, the lobby, grounds, and rooms were spotless and filled with beautiful architecture and Sicilian art ceramics.
All staff were very friendly...
My wife and I were there in November 2021 for about 5 days. We THOROUGHLY enjoyed ourselves. The staff was FANTASTIC...so helpful and accommodating. The food was great, the room was great. Everyone went out of their way to ensure we had a great time...and we did. We would definitely recommend this resort. I stopped in this hotel for 2 nights this month. I've chosen this place since it was close to where some friends celebrated their wedding.
It has a few pros and some cons.
Pros: the personnel is very very kind and the place is quite. There is a clean swimming pool and a spa (not tested). There is a nice town closeby (15 min walking) where you can eat good food. Nice view.
Cons: the location. It is...
Good location with views of the bay (No beach access as it's rocky). The rooms have AC and tv but are otherwise pretty basic. Service is ok. Close to the airport. Good and free wifi. The place could benefit from a refurbishment.
Wonderful staff and amazing pina colada!! Best sunset view!! Very romantic!! Room prices are very reasonable!!
Sono stato all'hotel Bellevue per per il percorso benessere e la spa room, una esperienza davvero rilassante a un prezzo contenuto, che consiglio.
The staff is the jewel in the crown. The potential is there...but my god cured a little I'm place that looks like a hotel in disuse for years. A sin soon enough. The dinner of excellent quality. Good the spa-relax, but even here the details were a bit cold.
Excellent location, staff very kind, polite, a bit dated but clean, good quality great price, excellent food, if understood of the new zones I'll be back

Upon arrival, they initially wanted to give us a room facing the corridor, after a complaint we were given another. The room is minimally equipped, two people get one chair and one glass. A kettle was not provided upon request.

A good place to eat and to sleep.
The design is absolutely 20th century, as is much of the room aesthetic, which ends up feeling quaintly nostalgic. Waking up with a view of the sea at sunrise is a definite perk.
As for the stay, everything went relatively well, except that those who wanted to enjoy the pool in this heat would have to deal with a lifeguard who was perhaps a horrible, pretentious lifeguard with no respect for the tourists who were staying at the hotel, so for anyone who wanted to swim, choose another hotel.
He forced us to get out of the water, claiming that the buoy wasn't for tourists but...
Good hotel, large room and bathroom, clean and well-maintained. A good, adequate breakfast, a nice bar.
Free, easy parking directly on the hotel grounds.
The reception at the hotel was friendly and welcoming.
The hotel is a bit outside of the city center, but it's about a 45-minute walk away, which we were aware of and isn't a criticism. It's by the sea, though.
We would come again.
It is far from the city center. The breakfast is good compared to other local hotels, but not as rich as advertised. The most important thing is that the hotel supplies are not complete, there are no disposable slippers, no kettle, and even no quilt on the bed. After communicating with the manager for a long time, he only got a thin quilt. In short, it does not meet the four-star standard.
The hotel is not very new, but the staff tries. Overall, everything is good.

Overall, the hotel is a nice environment, but there are definite drawbacks which would prevent us from staying here again (we’re actually leaving earlier than planned).
The biggest issue is the in room climate controls. While there is a thermostat in each room, allowing you to change the temperature, no matter how low you set it, the coldest the room will ever get is 23°C (~74°F). And, as many are...
Our room was small but perfectly formed with everything we needed. What let's this place down is the service. The breakfast was average. The coffee machines were not working either day we stayed.
The produce itself was poor with very little choice.
The pool area is beautiful. Plenty of towels and beds.
However the service around the Poole is extremely poor and expensive. Two soft drinks (that took...
Slightly outdated room, and bathroom, our shower leaked all over the floor. Breakfast was good but did not wow me. Pool was nice to sit by. Palermo was the last leg of our trip in Sicily and we were so tired by that point, it was nice to have the pool. Decent for the price but next time I would opt for something deeper in the city.
The best part of our stay was the amazing staff. Especially Leo, our server who does an awesome job in making you feel at home. Huge shout out to his limoncello spritzes. The best I’ve ever had.
Clean, comfortable, dog-friendly, quiet. The bed could have been a bit firmer. Good service from staff. Great breakfast. Good location near the historical centre and the sea.
Hotel parking is messy. Its management as well. The hotel subcontracted its parking to a private security company (Lion). There are discrepancies in prices between what the hotel stated (20 euros per night), and the price I was...

Nice place. Luca and Luciano /the guys from the hotel were very kind. Parking in blue zone costs 1 euro per hour from 8 am to 2 pm and from 4 pm to 8 pm. From 2 pm to 4 pm there is no charge.
Spent 4 nights here in March, 2025. We cannot praise the staff enough - they were all excellent. The reception staff on arrival, and throughout were extremely helpful. Whether it was prepping our arrival or helping with onward travel arrangements, nothing was a problem or a chore to them. The room/bed/elevator/parking was comfortable. The staff was nice and friendly.
At the set dinner, it would have been better to have 3 dishes to choose from per category. If there had always been three types (pork/beef, chicken, fish).
The breakfast was lacking in vegetables (tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers), and it would have been better to have a larger selection of savory foods (meat, cheese).

Located near the Bank of Sicily, when I was there there were army men because a member of Parliament lives in that road.
Very nice luxury hotel adapted to the building that was before: a former Chiostro (Monk's convent).
Very close to several restaurants and gelati places.
Very close to many monuments, Churches, theaters,.
Great building or complex. This grand hotel consists of 3 former palaces.
And there are many marvellous dreams to discover inside.

Stayed here for three nights and loved every minute of it. Perfect central location, rooms are brand new and completely updated, cleaning staff’s attention to detail is immaculate, and the breakfast was delicious. This is a stunning hotel and we enjoyed our stay very much!
Great location and it is easy to see that this was once a pinnacle of luxury. Despite efforts to keep the hotel up to its former glory, there are noticeable signs of aging. That aside, the rooms were very clean and spacious, the staff friendly and accommodating and breakfast in an opulent ball room felt quite luxurious.
Fancy hotel with a lot of history. Associated with the Sofitel chain. Very regal. Great people.
It was a good location, food at the restaurant was relatively good. (Though you don't get to chose the food so it was hit or miss in that regard) Elevators made funny noises, scared a few patrons. Shower did not drain properly, but in many ways beat other local hotels. Average. Purely average minus the beautiful lobby.
Gorgeous hotel, and pleasant staff. I was disappointed however to find that women are charged more than men for the laundry service. Quite why it should be more expensive to place a female item of clothing into a washing machine than a male one escapes me, and this is why I have deducted one star.

This hotel is ideally situated in Palermo. We are a few hundred yards from the hop on hop off bus stop and about 15 minutes walk from the Tetro Massimo. The train station is also easily accessible and a few stops on the bus. Our original room was on the first floor and quite small and noisy, but we asked to be moved and we were moved to a suite on the top floor. Room 404 is definitely the room to ask...
Fine location near Teatro Massimo and shopping streets, lots of restarants and bars in vicinity. Street noise gets in starting at 7 a.m. Thin walls ond doors let in sounds of living from the hotel. Ear plugs always in big demand. Cramped breakfast room, but OK food for a short stay. Friendly staff and good cleaning. As noticed earlier falls short of four stars
Loved this quaint Hotel. Very friendly staff and great breakfast offered. Very handy location. Great restaurants nearby.

Very close to the main attractions, good breakfast, valet parking (charges apply), the old building is quite distinctive.
Old money style, convenient location, very close to the main shopping street, many restaurants around, you can walk to the main attractions, there are also grocery stores around, it is also convenient to buy small items. The room is not small, the extra bed is also quite comfortable, larger than the average European hotel room. The European breakfast is so-so, there is nothing wrong with it, the breakfast...
The next day, my flight was at dawn, so I had a lot of requests, such as asking for a taxi, preparing a lunch box, and calling at dawn, but they handled everything kindly, so I was satisfied.
First I would like to do a special mention for Davide, a gentleman who we encountered each morning of our stay in the breakfast area. He made an excellent cappuccino, dispensed and delivered with a genuine smile and greeting to start our day on a positive note. After the first day, he even remembered what kind of coffee we liked! He’s a genuine asset to the hotel staff, and I hope he is officially...
We truly enjoyed Palermo and I can say the hotel and its location was part of the reason. The hotel is perfectly located to so many sites and restaurants. The hotel valet parked our car. Breakfast was good. Beds were comfy. ALL of the staff were very helpful and personable!! All good representatives for the hotel and the city. A special thank you to Nico who was the first person on staff the greet...

Pleasant one night stay in this Best Western . It’s convenient to Palermo Lolli train station for airport … ten minute walk and in a nice area . Nice common area on ground floor and large breakfast room . The shower was modern and was most welcome after a long trip from Taormina that day . Reception was very pleasant and helpful . Would stay here again .
Heritage hotel
Excellent location near many restaurants and cultural sites. Neighborhood is quiet.
No AC until May. Today's high is 25C
It's okay. It's a bit like a small hotel with a restaurant. If you are on a business trip and have a low budget, you can choose this hotel. It has basic facilities.
Hygiene: OK, not particularly clean
Facilities: Generally a bit old
Service: Average
The room is a bit small but clean, the facilities are acceptable, and the location is not far from the train station and the theater, which is quite convenient.
Best Western Ai Cavalieri Hotel is classical and strategically located in the historical and business heart of Palermo. The rooms were well appointed and comfortable. The breakfast room was an indoor-outdoor tented facility that was bright and cheerful. The lobby area contained a selection of newspapers and a always full jar of candies. The hotel had WiFi connection all over the facility and its...
because the rooms are so small that they should decorate somewhat, not one picture on the wall, the bare minimum on towels, no ventilation inside the bathroom, way overpriced of what I'm accustomed to, 15 euro for parking in front, unless you paid an extra 20 euro for two people, there's no breakfast

Top locatie, vriendelijke ontvangst, zeer propere kamers.
酒店位置不如想象的好。總體還行。
位置很方便,頂樓有早餐
Excellent location by the Theatro Massimo. 15 ins walks to the main thoroughfare in the Old town. Great service, clean and beaitiful hotel with a great roof-top bar/restaurant and well equipped gym.
Location is good- I’m walking distance from the main sightseeings. 10 minutes to the bus stop to Mondello beach. Bed is comfortable. It would be nice to have some vegetables for breakfast.
The location of the hotel is very good, you can walk to many attractions, very close to the street of the Grand Theater, the facilities are relatively new, and the experience of staying is good.
There is only one option when booking, which is a single room for one person. After arriving at the hotel, you have to pay an additional 40 euros per night for the second person staying.

I asked a quiet room and it was very silent.
Amazing gluten free breakfast in the terrace.
Old rooms. Nice roof terrace for breakfast and dinner.
We had a good stay here. The rooftop terrace is certainly the most beautiful part of the hotel. It is centrally located on Via Roma at walking distance to all sights and the train station. The room and the breakfast are with no glory, but quite good, especially the vast selection of homemade cakes. The staff is friendly.
Go to the roof top bar Seven. Enjoy and chilled drink with soft lounge music playing in the background and the most spectacular view of Palermo and the mountains. 🏙 ⛰️ 🍹🎶
Charming, convenient, has the most wonderful terrace in town. Food 5 stars!
Hotel was nice, but they would fix the wifi.

We had a very good time, very helpful people managers. I would have given an extra star 6dr the mattress had been slightly softer. In any case it is a place that I recommend
Friendly staff.
Basic breakfast (but the cannoli weren't there)
Large, spartan rooms with dated decor.
Certainly useful for using it as a foothold.
Tip: soundproof the rooms and eliminate some furniture elements that are no longer appreciated and only useful for collecting dust (bedspreads and decorative pillows are an example).
I give 4 stars because the price is still in line with what I had.
We are at home now, we have been coming for 4 years and we have always found ourselves just fine. Hospitality, friendliness, clean rooms and reasonable prices.
Staff more than kind, professional, helpful. Clean and comfortable rooms, a pleasant and breezy outdoor patio that didn't make me suffer from the Palermo heat
A special thanks to Mr. Salvo, professional and very human person
Structure located in the central area.
Very comfortable and well cleaned rooms. The owners really nice and always available
