Gorgeous, full of history, friendly staff. Facilities a little old but to be expected and part of the charm. Out of town so quieter.
Magnificent old hotel. The shuttle services that is provided is great. No searching for taxi. Staff is very accommodating and friendly.
Villa Igiea lies a couple of miles outside of the centre of Palermo but the regular free shuttle service means you don’t have to spend money on taxis or track down somewhere to buy a bus ticket. The hotel is an oasis. It has everything you need to relax and unwind. The breakfast is superb offering cooked food (Italian sausage, bacon, eggs etc), cold meats, salad, pastries and more pastries, fresh fruit...
It's a must to treat yourself and enjoy the magic in the best hotel in all the city! Enjoy Palermo and Sicily, the key of the Mediterranean as Goethe said.
The hotel is a historic and interesting old building with art noveau styling throughout. Our room was large, had hardwood floors, and well furnished. Though opulent the hotel is showing wear around the edges and could use some rehabbing. Service was attentive, if understaffed, likely due to the fact we visited in the off season. Hotel is not walking distance to the tourist attractions in Palermo.
Had a wonderful 5 night stay at Villa Igiea which was a relaxing end to our Italian honeymoon. We checked in right at the end of their busy season so they were no longer offering some of the activities and city shuttle I had read about. However Salvo and Alessia really went above and beyond to help us plan a few things we wanted to do. The bar is beautiful and Roberto was great!
They have great...
Slightly outside Palermo city center for great sea views All was just perfect in the room: size, bedding, amenities. Substantial staff assigned to keeping everything clean and tidy, 24 hours a day Extremely welcoming and efficient staff.
Beautiful sea views. Including the small marina. Wonderful garden Delicious food we did not eat in the main restaurant. Comfortable large king bed. Large room. Fab Spotless. Old world polite courteous respectful loved it!

Beautiful and elegant hotel right in the centre of historic Palermo - literally a stone's throw from the hustle and bustle of the restaurants and bars. Good continental breakfast selection. Our bedroom was comfortable and modern, and very clean. Highly recommend if you want to be at the heart of everything.
best location to be in palermo if u are a tourist. room was big, very modern and functional and clean. nice bathroom. not very bright as it was facing inner courtyard where on the ground floor theres their restaurant, so was bit noisy till around midnight but not a major issue at all. professional staff. they take care of your car.
Very nice and beautiful spot. Definitely worth a visit. We visited this site more than once. Beautiful beautiful place, the kids can run around, awesome atmosphere and a great place to grab a drink, chill and enjoy life. This spot really shows the historical and impressive Italian art. Would recommend that you go check out this spot!
It's a must!
Very beautiful!
This hotel located in a very busy and good area. Also the size of the hotel is medium and feel always cosy. In the rooms build in airconditioners .
We enjoyed two hours in the spa. The swimming pool is large and relaxing. The girls for the massage were very professional.
Staff very helpful, rooms clean and modern, excellent location of the structure. Of note, the kindness and helpfulness of the staff. Beautiful SPA.. a corner of paradise!

The massage, the service, and the smile was just perfect. Me and my wife had a great afternoon, relaxed to the max, and enjoyed every minute of the spa. I would recommend this to anyone interested in some relaxation during your stay in Palermo.
Quiet hotel just around the corner from Vittorio Emmanuel and promenade. Breakfast selection was good and the staff were uber attentive. Special mention to Sara who was always cheerful and efficient in serving everyone. There is a small gym which was adequate for a few sessions and a wellness center as well.
Hotel located in a strategic position with regards one of the most ancient neighborhoods of this spectacular city whose paradox and contradictions are peculiar aspects of her beauty. Room was spacious as well as the bathroom and mostly quiet. Cleanliness has been also appreciated. Staff on a whole very courteous and efficient. For sure my favorite spot for future stays. Bravo!
Beautiful boutique hotel by the marina. 5 minutes walk from some of the best Palermo restaurants & walking distance to tourist attractions.
I had two great dinners here. The menu is always different because they use only the freshest products.
The restaurant is tiny but very cozy and quiet, with a nice vista of Palazzo Steri. The waiters were adorable and always available.
The spa is also good, very nice and clean.
Very nice service and hotel. The rooms are spacious and nice. It's in a quiet area and close to the city centre. Recommended ?
The hotel is perfectly tucked away on a safe, quiet street right next to the harbour but a minutes walk to the old town, restaurants and markets. The hotel is located in the heart of Palermo, you could hardly ask for a better base to explore the city. In spite of that, there were a series of minor annoyances.
1. Street parking is near impossible, understandably. So they offer a valet garage service for 15€ per day.
2. So why did I get charged 20€ per day in the end?
3. Why didn't I get registered for breakfast on the second day?
4. Why did...
Really nice hotel in the heart of Palermo, great localization, my room was in good condition but not perfect, had some minor issues. The hotel and room were clean. Due COVID-19 is hard to review breakfasts, you could order from 20 positions list (most were sweets and cakes, some traditional from Sicily ) everything was OK but not above average.
Staff here were lovely and helpful. Loved our room (and weirdly the lamps 🤣) our breakfasts though included were limited (one of us being vegan and the other gluten free) but it all looked delicious and we still ate enough to see us through til lunch. Would definitely recommend and visit again!
Suddenly got a big room, comfortable, nice, clean, Breakfast for those with "the morning dressed" will be pleasantly surprised that it is all there! Near the most beautiful buildings of the city, the hotel is also near the port, the staff is great! Anyone will be satisfied, because there is everything for a pleasant stay!
Excellent home, a person speaking French at home.
Room clean and spacious.
Continental breakfast nothing special but good.
Nice property but poor maintenance. It is a bit worn and the air conditioning in my room was insufficient for cooling, even after advising me to keep it on even when I was out.
In general the idea is that they are not more been made the ordinary maintenance when it was open.

First of all: The staff is lovely !!! Warm, welcoming, friendly, supportive - cute as a button. As it should be. Thank you very much for that!
The hotel is lovely, but old. Needs to be updated. AC isn’t working properly. The swimming pool is nice but the area around it is without any love and interior taste.
The gym itself is a real joke, you don’t need to try it ;)
The rooms are very different -...
The hotel's price is very good, but don’t expect clean rooms or comfortable beds.
The air conditioning is extremely dirty, which created a “snow of dust” in the room. We found a sock from the previous guest under the bed. The mattress was also ripped and even had a blood stain, and huge “wholes” from usage.
My mother had to clean the room herself as I had a terrible allergy to the dust.

BEWARE OF BAD REVIEWS OF THIS HOTEL! This hotel is fine! The staff are friendly and welcoming - my room on the 3rd floor was very good and the restaurant was great! The barman makes a lovely Spritz and everything was fine. Please ignore the bad reviews!!!!!

yes, it’s not extremely close to the town centre of Palermo but, most people here have Cars to move around or you can take a short taxi ride...
The hotel is very nice and the breakfast is delicious with a lot of diversity. However the location is really bad. The neighborhood is very deplorable. You need to take a bus to look a place for eating. Buses are around 20 minutes but you must wait like 15 minutes for each bus.

Located near the Bank of Sicily, when I was there there were army men because a member of Parliament lives in that road.
Very nice luxury hotel adapted to the building that was before: a former Chiostro (Monk's convent).
Very close to several restaurants and gelati places.
Very close to many monuments, Churches, theaters,.
Great building or complex. This grand hotel consists of 3 former palaces.
And there are many marvellous dreams to discover inside.
The cool inner courtyard is wonderful on hot summer days.
In the evening there is a pianist and very pleasant piano music for the aperitivo, live bar music.
Very fair prices for wines and drinks.
It's worth stopping here for a short break and refreshment when walking through...
Very nice hotel. Excellent air conditioning. No complaints.
Yes, the beds are quite firm but that didn't bother me.
Mattress was very hard. AC was inoperable. WiFi was very poor.
Reception was very professional and the building itself is steeped in heritage.
It’s a true hit or miss.
This is a very good hotel right in the heart of Palermo’s historic district! Plenty of places to walk around and discover or just stay at the hotel for dinner and a drink.

Loved staying here. It is located a walking distance from landmarks, the staff are very nice, discreet and helpful. The food is good, the coffee, of course, is any coffee lover's dream. And the rooms are very clean.
Rooms were clean, small.....breakfast good, front desk helpful with directions...good location for tourist area..
Could hear any bathroom activity of neighboring rooms...small shower - water changed back and forth from hot to cold...magnifying mirror would have been helpful, but it was embedded in bathroom mirror so high you would have to be 6 feet tall to use it....room did not have extra secure...

We had a great stay at Brunaccini! The room was very nice, and the staff were helpful! Also, because of the location it is easy to enjoy historical Palermo and its markets!
This is a nice spot with a close proximity to the four corners area and the market. The area around it is fine and is easily walkable. My major concern is how hard the beds are, the management needs to invest in something softer.
Poor location in an area difficult to access and in a bed neighborhood. The four stars do not reflect its quality.
The hotel is in a decent location. Right next to ballaro market and within walking distance to most restaurants etc.
For a hotel that claims to be luxury it lacks a lot of features that I would expect in a luxury hotel. We had a suite and I was expecting a beautiful setup. While the space was nice I don't think it lives up to the luxurious feel that the pictures try to convey.
Checking in process...

Elegantly styled classy hotel. Built in the past maybe by 50 years but very clean and well maintained. Good breakfast was part of my package. Location is on Via Liberta which is chic section of the urban metropolis that is Palermo. No regrets.

Recently, I have been invited to meet the management of this hotel after a severe critic published on Google. This has been an appreciated feedback and I have decided to share with you some reflection:

Reasonable rooms and facility compared the pricing but I found the front desk staff might be more friendly then they were since I never seen they smiled once. There were plenty of activity and restaurant around. We found statue of liberty and bowling place nearby. I heard first floor rooms are more comfortable then others.
Are there for a conference. However, it is located in the central point of the city, to the shoulders of via libertà, well served by public transport urban and suburban airports, both of Palermo, Trapani. Affordable prices

Suggestive aperitif in the splendid setting of one of the historic hotels of the city, recently reopened!
Stayed here for three nights and loved every minute of it. Perfect central location, rooms are brand new and completely updated, cleaning staff’s attention to detail is immaculate, and the breakfast was delicious. This is a stunning hotel and we enjoyed our stay very much!
Great location and it is easy to see that this was once a pinnacle of luxury. Despite efforts to keep the hotel up to its former glory, there are noticeable signs of aging. That aside, the rooms were very clean and spacious, the staff friendly and accommodating and breakfast in an opulent ball room felt quite luxurious.
It was a good location, food at the restaurant was relatively good. (Though you don't get to chose the food so it was hit or miss in that regard) Elevators made funny noises, scared a few patrons. Shower did not drain properly, but in many ways beat other local hotels. Average. Purely average minus the beautiful lobby.
Gorgeous hotel, and pleasant staff. I was disappointed however to find that women are charged more than men for the laundry service. Quite why it should be more expensive to place a female item of clothing into a washing machine than a male one escapes me, and this is why I have deducted one star.
Beautiful hotel with spirit, but the interiors and comfort lags behind the near hotels in the area.
Rooms, TV and A/C must definitely get a rewamp.

The staff were awesome. Very helpful and accommodating. The location is in the heart of downtown so it’s very walkable. If you want to park there, you better have a SMALL car. We had to fold the mirrors in on our Skoda Fabia to fit in the alley that leads to their garage. The entrance and lobby are wonderful and the breakfast was inexpensive and good.
The rooms on the other hand leave a lot to be...
The Eurostars C Palace is spacious and lovely. Its furniture, which some of them preserved from the original period, was an exceptionally wonderful thing. I enjoyed sitting in the public areas and reading the book I had with me.
The hotel's proximity to the railway station and other locations of interests were wonderful aspects, too.
The staff were all wonderful and helpful. I had a great stay there...
Everyone must know that we stayed at this hotel the last night of our 10-day honeymoon, and we can definitively say it is by far the best (most superb) stay out of every other hotel we experienced in all of Sicily.
1. The location is most advantageous, right in the middle of all the action and easily walkable to the church, markets, and other important amenities.
2. The rooms and decor were immaculate...
Central location and cute looking. The building is historic and has surprises everywhere. Beautiful spaces and art throughout. The beds are going to kill your back if you’ve got any issues with it. The AC was weak And cut out partway through the night. The breakfast was very good and I’d recommend trying - a great selection of delicious food.
Stayed for 3 nights some months ago. Hotel is lovely and location is great. Breakfast is nice. Booked a single room and felt like Cinderella… when she was living with her stepmother. It was tiny, with barely any excuse at decoration and peeling paint. The bathroom was also very small and the shower had barely any room to move in.
Magnificent place, based on the ancient Palazzo Tarallo, whose structure is preserved. 18th century palace, listed as a UNESCO world heritage site, in the heart of Palermo, unique atmosphere, marble staircases, chandeliers and breathtaking views of the roof terrace. Breakfast was good. Beds were comfy. ALL of the staff were very helpful and personable!! All good representatives for the hotel and the city. A special thank you to Nico who was the first person on staff the greet...
In August, I stayed at the Grand Hotel Wagner in Palermo, booking it last minute, and I’m so pleased with my choice. From the moment I arrived, the service was outstanding. The front desk staff were welcoming and efficient, and the gentleman who helped with my bags was both courteous and professional.
One thing that truly impressed me was how the hotel treated my friend, who was staying nearby with...
Multigeneration family vacation, the hotel was wonderful from booking of 8 rooms to check out the staff were outstanding. NICOLA welcomed us warmly and expedited our baggage and took a personal interest in everyone, the front desk personnel were accommodating, warm and helpful through all of our planning and time, David, Giovanna, and Claudio took excellent care of all our varied dietary needs and...
The room was clean and a good size. The bathroom was clean and shower had good water pressure. The staff was nice and helpful. The breakfast was GREAT and filling; the kind staff and views on the top floor made it even better. They parked our car and brought it back when needed. We would recommend!
Beautiful hotel located in heart of Palermo. Close walk to explore the city. The hotel itself and the rooms are beautiful and clean. We at first had trouble connecting with our wifi and 2 staff members were present to address it within 5 minutes of us calling. Great service and stunning location.

The hotel is in a great location in elegant v. of Liberty. Spacious and comfortable room. Poor breakfast and almost absence of parking are the two aspects a little lacking in a situation of good quality for other aspects
Central, but quiet because they are immersed in the English garden. Very good welcome and good breakfast. The suite is very comfortable, a mini apartment with a terrace and jacuzzi. It is really worth the money spent.

Breakfast tasty, plenty of food and drinks to choose.
Great view from the room, you can see the panorama of Palermo.
Overall, its a very good hotel to stay at given the price. The staff were all delightful and more than happy to help. Check in was a quick and easy, and the rooms were amazing as well, spacious and modern.
The major downside of the hotel is the location. If you are not renting a car then do not consider it, period. Other than that I have no complaints.
Been in this location between the 11th and 18th of August .
I`ve visited severals hotels in Palermo due to the fact my family lives there, but always stayed in 4 stars and above. So, I was wondering what time was going to be.
Wow , I was wrong!
Reception : Extremely friendly service at arrival , the girl ( julia, i guess ) was absolutely wonderful on explaining us all the hotel`s facilities and times...
Parking on site, amazing views over Palermo, restaurant has some good food as well, but that comes with the price. Rooms are clean, gym is nicely equipped, and there is a pool table as well. Really enjoyed our stay.
The Hotel is located on the top as compared to Palermo. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Swimming pool, located in a strategic position, with views across Palermo. The staff are polite and helpful.
It is a budget hotel with good services, quiet, with a pool next summer well, it is away from the city, but they all have transfers direct to the city, the breakfast maybe we miss more variety of fruit, the restaurant is ok, in summary and.diempre taking into account what you pay for complies with what is expected, unless the wifi but it has been in almost all of Sicily

Gorgeous room with friendly, attentive staff. Can't praise enough the wonderful people who work here. Currently, breakfast is included & is delicious. The hotel is well-located in the midst of many points of interests & restaurants. We had a wonderful time.
The Massimo Hotel is located near many of the historical sites as well as the local markets. The room is a good size, but the “double” bed we had was very uncomfortable. It was also very loud inside since our room was located along the busy street. They offer a choice of sweet or savory for breakfast in your room, which was appreciated. If you have problems with stairs, beware that to enter the hotel...
Beautiful elegant well located in the heart of old town Palermo. Staff amazing very attentive and the rooms have great facilities. Would recommend for the perfect stay.
Cosy boutique hotel in the heart of Naples. No restaurant. Breakfast in the bar in own room. Located on a street with restricted tree traffic, but staff will park your car in paying car park
Beautiful hotel directly across from Teatro Massimo and walking distance to lots of shops and restaurants. Room was beautiful and clean, bathroom was roomy and had a big shower. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. One of our favorite hotel stays while traveling 2 weeks through Europe!

Good points for the hotel are that the local area is quiet, hotel has good quality beds and rooms are clean. We were given a small cramped room no 204, but outdated decor. No soaps, or creams provided just shower gel in a squeeze bottle. Weak a/c unit and the walls were very thin which meant you heard everything thru the walls. The 45 cm balcony is useless as no space to sit, no chairs or table. The...
Average hotel in the old City of palermo ..... not much as facility's and quite small rooms but the staff are really welcoming
Breakfast and rooms were excellent. However, we had two rooms and in one the air didn't work. Also the parking was awkward and a block away. You had to lug your luggage there. For the parking the service was less than expected since we paid extra for it.
Hospitality Location, the Quiet Elegance and clean rooms
Garden inside x catering and very well managed the setting in the moresca of an external porch.
Located in the central area full of activities day or night. Small but comfortable rooms. For parking you have to rely on luck or have to resort to that agreement.
Availability and courtesy of the staff excellent. Good the kitchen. The conference room is well equipped. The location is excellent .

We enjoyed our two nights. The room was very spacious. David at the front desk was so friendly and very helpful along with all the staff. Breakfast was letdown though. With a small selection.
Decent rooms, awesome location! I slept on a third extra bed, which was way too short for me, but it was decently comfy. The room itself was big and clean. Breakfast could use a bit more variety, but altogether it was good.
Over size, clean rooms with free wi-fi. Lift. Breakfast room with Gluten Free options. Free use of computer. Comfy beds. Location is only downside in a very narrow street & not a great deal of variety of restaurants nearby. Staff friendly.
Gigantic rooms, good service, polite staff, good location. Cons- breakfast not biggest choice, parking hard to find, noise on the ceiling from the next level.
Good location, near the downtown. Kindly and helpful crew. The room was wide and clean. The bed was perfect. In the bathroom there was a bidet.

Nice, beacose it is in the middle of the centre, but there isn't any swimming poll. The hotel is also big and there are some food in the freadge. It also have lift. The breakfast is good and it is at 8:00.
I recomended this hotel.
I'll give them 3 stars for the size of the rooms & here's my conclusion after 4 nights
1- STAFF ARE GENUINELY RUDE
2- STAFF ARE NOT MOTIVATED
3- STAFF NEVER GREETED ME ONCE, THEY ALWAYS EXPECTED ME TO GREET FIRST (shame on you)
4- BREAKFAST IS CHEAP & YOUR COFFEE IS CHEAPER
5- NEVER STAY ON THE 4TH FLOOR COZ EVERY MORNING, THOSE ILL MOTIVATED STAFF, DRAGGED ALL THE CHAIRS FROM ONE ROOM TO THE NEXT...
Rooms were nice and hotel was clean overall. However, service was substandard and basic things like wifi aren’t really good. Wifi is very slow and almost not connectable. Reception staff not very friendly and breakfast is OK.
Lonely hotel near the Politeama theatre, and also to a pedestrianised area with lots of choice of restaurant, cafes, shops etc. Pleasant helpful staff. However the aircon didn't cool the room enough, which is a must in the Sicilian summer. Breakfast ok though a little limited in choice. If you are there to watch TV (really?) only Italian language was available, not even BBC, CNN etc.
Room didn't feel clean. Breakfast not very good and staff not very friendly. Don't recommend this place.
