Beautiful and elegant hotel right in the centre of historic Palermo - literally a stone's throw from the hustle and bustle of the restaurants and bars. Good continental breakfast selection. Our bedroom was comfortable and modern, and very clean. Highly recommend if you want to be at the heart of everything.
SPA is an quiet oasis in the busy city.
best location to be in palermo if u are a tourist. room was big, very modern and functional and clean. nice bathroom. not very bright as it was facing inner courtyard where on the ground floor theres their restaurant, so was bit noisy till around midnight but not a major issue at all. professional staff. they take care of your car.
Decent hotel downtown Palermo, close to main attractions
Very nice and beautiful spot. Definitely worth a visit. We visited this site more than once. Beautiful beautiful place, the kids can run around, awesome atmosphere and a great place to grab a drink, chill and enjoy life. This spot really shows the historical and impressive Italian art. Would recommend that you go check out this spot! It's a must! Very beautiful!

lovely place, delicious food.
Gorgeous, full of history, friendly staff. Facilities a little old but to be expected and part of the charm. Out of town so quieter.
Magnificent old hotel. The shuttle services that is provided is great. No searching for taxi. Staff is very accommodating and friendly.
Villa Igiea lies a couple of miles outside of the centre of Palermo but the regular free shuttle service means you don’t have to spend money on taxis or track down somewhere to buy a bus ticket. The hotel is an oasis. It has everything you need to relax and unwind. The breakfast is superb offering cooked food (Italian sausage, bacon, eggs etc), cold meats, salad, pastries and more pastries, fresh fruit...
It's a must to treat yourself and enjoy the magic in the best hotel in all the city! Enjoy Palermo and Sicily, the key of the Mediterranean as Goethe said.
The hotel is a historic and interesting old building with art noveau styling throughout. Our room was large, had hardwood floors, and well furnished. Though opulent the hotel is showing wear around the edges and could use some rehabbing. Service was attentive, if understaffed, likely due to the fact we visited in the off season. Hotel is not walking distance to the tourist attractions in Palermo.
Slightly outside Palermo city center for great sea views All was just perfect in the room: size, bedding, amenities. Substantial staff assigned to keeping everything clean and tidy, 24 hours a day Extremely welcoming and efficient staff.
Beautiful sea views. Including the small marina. Wonderful garden Delicious food we did not eat in the main restaurant. Comfortable large king bed. Large room. Fab Spotless. Old world polite courteous respectful loved it!

Very large and well-kept room, the fresco on the ceiling is a good sign of the history of this building, but also the attention of those who use it. Perfect stay and I want to thank Loredana and Michele who also recommended us where to dine. Thanks for all.
It is a structure full of charm; our room was very large, tidy, fresh and clean. The style between modern and ancient make the environment unique. The welcome of Mr. Michele is excellent, she knows how to advise and indicate every useful detail even for very short stays like ours (only two nights), also taking into consideration the presence of an 8-year-old child, recommending areas and parks suitable...
I highly recommend Bellaroto Suits, beautiful modern rooms, but with the old historical still kept in the details of the interior. The host Michele is really so warm, with great adwise to were to go and what is a must to be seen and to eat. So welcoming and heartwarming staff. The location couldnt have been more excellent, so close to everything you might need on your trip.
Miguel / Michael is an amazing host and his partner Rita as well. Location proved very suitable for inner city explorations, our rooms were pretty spacious, very clean with a taste for interior design. Yummy hearty breakfast and great local recommendations by our host on where to go for dinner made this stay truly enjoyable.

Quiet location. Modern rooms, recommend superior room with balcony. Nice breakfast on terrace.
Quiet hotel just around the corner from Vittorio Emmanuel and promenade. Breakfast selection was good and the staff were uber attentive. Special mention to Sara who was always cheerful and efficient in serving everyone. There is a small gym which was adequate for a few sessions and a wellness center as well.
Hotel located in a strategic position with regards one of the most ancient neighborhoods of this spectacular city whose paradox and contradictions are peculiar aspects of her beauty. Room was spacious as well as the bathroom and mostly quiet. Cleanliness has been also appreciated. Staff on a whole very courteous and efficient. For sure my favorite spot for future stays. Bravo!
The hotel is perfectly tucked away on a safe, quiet street right next to the harbour but a minutes walk to the old town, restaurants and markets. Breakfast is served on the exquisitely picturesque roof terrace until a leisurely 11am. Quality cold cuts and everything else your heart desires with the most charming service. The place is very special, the owner was very nice, he let us come late in the night after the official check-in hours and was super friendly all of the time. Great breakfasts!
We stayed at Porta Di Castro for our visit to Palaemo for 4 days. It was very comfortable and the staff are all very friendly! The lady at the front desk, when we checked in, gave us a map and pointed out places to eat and sites to see! Everyone is very friendly there-the other staff was also willing to tell us where to go and what to do before we left. At one point, one of the women actually walked...
Very good. Just a note. I would have chosen as the slogan "Stylish B&B" and not "Luxury B&B" because with those stairs and those tight spaces may not be luxury, but certainly have a lot of style. We would stay again.
Unposto exceptional. Taste, class, intelligence, great service, good price. Breakfast superb. If I had an idea of Palermo, now I have a certainty: Good, and special!! A place not to be missed! Yuri
Cool and stylish decoration, warmth welcome, homemade breakfast right in front of you. Unique experience in the lively heart of Palermo. A genuine Sicilian experience not to be missed :-P
Much more of a b&b!!! The hotel conveys an atmosphere of familiarity and friendliness, without neglecting the elegance and refinement. Got a great price: 59€ with breakfast. Nice room, great location.
The hotel is located in the heart of Palermo, you could hardly ask for a better base to explore the city. In spite of that, there were a series of minor annoyances. 1. Street parking is near impossible, understandably. So they offer a valet garage service for 15€ per day. 2. So why did I get charged 20€ per day in the end? 3. Why didn't I get registered for breakfast on the second day? 4. Why did...
Really nice hotel in the heart of Palermo, great localization, my room was in good condition but not perfect, had some minor issues. The hotel and room were clean. Due COVID-19 is hard to review breakfasts, you could order from 20 positions list (most were sweets and cakes, some traditional from Sicily ) everything was OK but not above average.
Staff here were lovely and helpful. Loved our room (and weirdly the lamps 🤣) our breakfasts though included were limited (one of us being vegan and the other gluten free) but it all looked delicious and we still ate enough to see us through til lunch. Would definitely recommend and visit again!
Suddenly got a big room, comfortable, nice, clean, Breakfast for those with "the morning dressed" will be pleasantly surprised that it is all there! Near the most beautiful buildings of the city, the hotel is also near the port, the staff is great! Anyone will be satisfied, because there is everything for a pleasant stay!

Nick room, friendly staff and a very good breakfast.
Reasonable rooms and facility compared the pricing but I found the front desk staff might be more friendly then they were since I never seen they smiled once. There were plenty of activity and restaurant around. We found statue of liberty and bowling place nearby. I heard first floor rooms are more comfortable then others.
Great Hotel near piazza don bosco
Are there for a conference. However, it is located in the central point of the city, to the shoulders of via libertà, well served by public transport urban and suburban airports, both of Palermo, Trapani. Affordable prices
The rooms are small but clean, comfortable bed and breakfast with plenty of choice.. WiFi fairly fast. Excellent view of the highest floor, I recommend making a jump to the 12th and top floor to watch from the only window in the view.
I have not seen the interior of the structure for good, but only a room where to play in professional courses.

The hotel staff here was amazing! They helped us out so much and we didn’t even stay here. My wife and I parked across the street in a parking garage that the hotel shares with a private parking company. Excellent location. Got a big and comfortable angle room. Breakfast was good (the bread quality was above the usually disappointing Italian bread quality). The staff was very nice.
Very good stuff, honest people, well located, clean with a good breakfast
Very comfortable hotel located in the middle of the city. Easy to get to and from. Great base of operations while in Palermo. The major issue here is that the Wifi signal is very weak. Easier to turn it off and go with 4G service.
The room is clean wooden floor so no stuffy smell. Helpful staff Mr.Joshua Melia helped arranged the doctor to come see my sick mother and even got managed to get the hot soup and toasted very delicious bread for us. Thank you
Very nice & friendly people! The hotel & the room were clean. Too bad that on hot days the airco stops working when you the leave the room. The hotel has a parking for €15/night, very small parking space somewhere under the ground between everything, big cars can get stuck. Breakfast was perfect, friendly guy and cozy space.

Rooms were a good size. Beds were comfortable. Location was a bit remote. Rooms were clean, but hallways could have been vacuumed.
it was nice we hope to return, all in the name of relaxation we had fun, kind and cheerful staff I thank Mrs Roberta Matranga on floor number 7, thoughtful and kind with dedication to her work. Greetings to the lady who cleaned my room with such dedication , kind, cheerful and helpful.
If you want to travel back in time, that's the perfect place to stay. Only the lobby area is renovated, but rooms look like in the 70s. Apparently, the hotel was completely renovated in 2009, but it seems they missed some rooms. Anyway, the price per night compensates for all deficiencies. Also, there is a bus stop outside the hotel that can get you to the city centre or Mondelo beach.
Our stay at the hotel was overall satisfactory. The hotel itself was good, offering decent amenities and services, though there was room for improvement in the level of service provided. However, the one significant drawback was the location. The neighborhood surrounding the hotel was noticeably dirty, which did detract from the overall experience. Despite this, if you're looking for a budget-friendly...

We had a wonderful two night stay. I requested an upgrade as it was my wife's birthday. The free upgrade was to a suite. On the day of her birthday a complimentary bottle of bubbly was left in the room. Staff extremely courteous and friendly, room exceptionally large and clean. Best breakfast ever experienced in Italy with delicious cakes to see you through most of the day. Highly recommended.

Stayed for 3 nights some months ago. Hotel is lovely and location is great. Breakfast is nice. Booked a single room and felt like Cinderella… when she was living with her stepmother. It was tiny, with barely any excuse at decoration and peeling paint. The bathroom was also very small and the shower had barely any room to move in.

Very nice, helpfull staff, and the public areas have had a makeover. But in general it falls short of a 3star Hotel. It's the small things, clapped out lifts. Items in room damaged or broken, and not repaired. I understand it's a tough business, but a little TLC would go a long way.
The staff were absolutely superb, incredibly friendly and helpful, they catered to our individual requirements exceptionally. I must agree with other reviews, the bedrooms are nice; the bathrooms work and are completely functional, could just do with a bit of refurbishment. There was evidence of refurbishment activity in the hotel, so I hope it will continue to improve.

lovely place! executive room was really nice and everything works. staff is very friendly and helpful ☺️ I would recommend - thank you!
Good
“Definitely coming back there when in Sicily. Liked everything about this place - Private, safe parking, Great, quiet location with really nice view. Next to the best ever Restaurant (La Braciera - must go!) The room was really spacious and to very high standard. Very helpfull staff
We stayed 6 nights in this beautiful residence, chosen on the recommendation of a friend of mine who has already stayed and me he suggested. I can confirm the opinion of my friend. The judgment is, in fact, very positive: in its category it deserves, say, 4.5 stars, is the location close to everything (Stadium, Beaches, Hospitals, City Centre and Airport) and for the enchanting view on the village...

ok
Very beautifull 👍👍
We have a really great experience in this hotel. The name is hospitality is completely true, the receptionists are charming and we were helped by them in an extremely kind way. The room was very clean and comfortable. The neighborhood was very quiet. It's 10 minutes away walking from the city center. If we come back to Palermo, we would choose this nice hotel again.
Is a very nice place and comfortable
Quite far from city centre

We had a very good time, very helpful people managers. I would have given an extra star 6dr the mattress had been slightly softer. In any case it is a place that I recommend
Friendly staff. Basic breakfast (but the cannoli weren't there) Large, spartan rooms with dated decor. Certainly useful for using it as a foothold. Tip: soundproof the rooms and eliminate some furniture elements that are no longer appreciated and only useful for collecting dust (bedspreads and decorative pillows are an example). I give 4 stars because the price is still in line with what I had.
We are at home now, we have been coming for 4 years and we have always found ourselves just fine. Hospitality, friendliness, clean rooms and reasonable prices.
Staff more than kind, professional, helpful. Clean and comfortable rooms, a pleasant and breezy outdoor patio that didn't make me suffer from the Palermo heat A special thanks to Mr. Salvo, professional and very human person
Structure located in the central area. Very comfortable and well cleaned rooms. The owners really nice and always available

Suggestive aperitif in the splendid setting of one of the historic hotels of the city, recently reopened!
Stayed here for three nights and loved every minute of it. Perfect central location, rooms are brand new and completely updated, cleaning staff’s attention to detail is immaculate, and the breakfast was delicious. This is a stunning hotel and we enjoyed our stay very much!
Stunning Building.
Great location and it is easy to see that this was once a pinnacle of luxury. Despite efforts to keep the hotel up to its former glory, there are noticeable signs of aging. That aside, the rooms were very clean and spacious, the staff friendly and accommodating and breakfast in an opulent ball room felt quite luxurious.
Fancy hotel with a lot of history. Associated with the Sofitel chain. Very regal. Great people.
It was a good location, food at the restaurant was relatively good. (Though you don't get to chose the food so it was hit or miss in that regard) Elevators made funny noises, scared a few patrons. Shower did not drain properly, but in many ways beat other local hotels. Average. Purely average minus the beautiful lobby.

Elegantly styled classy hotel. Built in the past maybe by 50 years but very clean and well maintained. Good breakfast was part of my package. Location is on Via Liberta which is chic section of the urban metropolis that is Palermo. No regrets.
This is a really nice hotel with lots of style. the rooms a nicely furnished clean and comfortable. The staff are helpful and friendly. We particularly liked the restaurant, we arrived at 9.30pm but this had no effect on the excellent service and very good food and wine. the head waiter was fantastic. This is a good place to stay.
Excellent location overlooking gardens. Very friendly staff relaxing.
Very good and user friendly hotel although certain faucets in the BR need looking to. However enjoyed the stay. Thank you.
Recently, I have been invited to meet the management of this hotel after a severe critic published on Google. This has been an appreciated feedback and I have decided to share with you some reflection: 1. My method seems to me correct. Me and my wife experience personally the 90% of every location or service we later value on Google. As tourism operators, we move a large amount of travelers in Switzerland...
Good receptionist. Very impressive hotel, clean and relaxing. Room are big and clean. Restaurant and breakfast are perfect. Gym is small but with important things inside. Parking are not inside the hotel and need it because outside is quite difficult to find parking

Nice place to stay in walking distance of most places to see and many restaurants.
Great place. Great hospitality.
Good hotel. Big rooms. Central. Helpful staff
We enjoyed our two nights. The room was very spacious. David at the front desk was so friendly and very helpful along with all the staff. Breakfast was letdown though. With a small selection.
Decent rooms, awesome location! I slept on a third extra bed, which was way too short for me, but it was decently comfy. The room itself was big and clean. Breakfast could use a bit more variety, but altogether it was good.
The hotel is okay. The room are big. The breakfast is reasonable. No warm breakfast.

Not so good... People are super nice but the there is a lot to improve on the infrastructure.... Breakfast had great pastry choices...there is a super annoying noise that sounds like a bird 24/7 in the common area... Makes it impossible to relax... I complained... They laughed🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄
Amazing stuff, they are all so helpful and friendly! I stayed in the hotel for 2weeks and I felt like home! Rooms were cleaned and changed daily, which made the experience even better. I will definitely miss this place and the lovely staff!
The hotels is a little dated externally but does not detract from the interior, which is more modern but needs a little more work. The service and staff are outstanding and go the extra mile to assist. I had a large vehicle so the parking was really welcome. Overall, i recommend the hotel and would be comfortable for an extended stay as well!
Breakfast was an issue. Only got it 1/3 days.
Lovely place clean and safe but needs a pool and a wider range of things on the restaurant as the menu was only fish
I FRAQUENTATO THIS HOTEL FOR ABOUT 10 YEARS AND I HAVE ALWAYS FOUND VERY GOOD. ROOMS ARE WELL FURNISHED AND SPACIOUS. THE STAFF IS SIMPLY FANTASTIC FOR THE AVAILABILITY AND COURTESY FROM THE MANAGER TO THE GUYS OF LUGGAGE. THE BREAKFAST WAS EXCELLENT. EXCELLENT QUALITY / PRICE RATIO. TRY it! !!!!!!
