We had a wonderful stay at Villa Igea. The food was absolutely amazing, and the service was equally impressive. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely cared for throughout our visit. One small detail I noticed, however, was that for a hotel in this price range, you expect everything to be perfect. The garden could have been better maintained some of the palm trees...
A Truly Five-Star Experience at Villa Igiea From the moment we arrived at Villa Igiea, the experience was next-level. We were kindly offered a room upgrade at check-in, and that small gesture made a huge difference. The extra space gave our kids room to play and relax, and it gave my wife and me the rare chance to enjoy a peaceful moment together on the terrace—just the two of us. It completely elevated...
Excellent property! We had an amazing time staying in the beautiful villa. We will stay there again next time
We had a wonderful experience at Villa Igiea! Everything was exceptional - the room, the stunning views, the food, the staff and overall service, etc. One particular experience that was above and beyond was when Phillip, a member of the front desk staff, brought his personal backgammon set for us to play after my husband had expressed interest in finding a board in town and playing. Would definitely...
I recently had the pleasure of working with Villa Igiea in Palermo, Italy, for a set of very special clients—and I couldn’t be more impressed. From start to finish, the service was truly exceptional. The entire team exceeded expectations, delivering an experience that was both luxurious and personalized. A special thank you to Alessia, whose attention to detail, warmth, and professionalism made all...
Villa Igiea is honestly incredible. The place is even more beautiful in person—everything from the views to the decor is just next level. It has this amazing old-world charm but still feels super luxe and comfortable. Our room had the dreamiest view, and the whole vibe of the hotel is so peaceful and elegant. Perfect spot to unwind. The pool area and gardens are stunning too—we spent hours just relaxing...

It was a great surprise to be located in the very heart of Palermo. Great choice, nice rooms, good breakfast and friendly staff! Highly recommended!
We came for the day spa as an early Valentine's day morning. We had the spa area to ourselves for an hour and then a couple's massage for an hour. The facility was wonderful, clean, and in good repair. The staff were kind, professional, and did an excellent job. Both massage therapists knew some English. Highly recommend and plan to return. Location is great too. Just be aware that it's in the...
Located in the center of Palermo, it is a 10-second walk from the intersection of Via Maqueda and Via Vittorio Emanuele, which are a must-see for tourists. Tourist attractions such as the Royal Palace and the Cathedral are within walking distance, and there are many restaurants around at night, so there was no problem. The hotel is one of the safest in Palermo, as it is a pedestrian zone with constant...
This is my second time here. I have overlooked the first errors concerning the navigation. Then I was faced with a room, which means an almost shapeless hole, further,. The keys don't work, it's terribly difficult to access my car, so I had to take a taxi to pick up my friend at the airport! The condition of the rooms has not changed in five years!!! Ps: I came here for a serious anniversary!...
What a great location. Cannot get more central than this. Well modernized old palace with a magnificent courtyard where breakfast is served and possibility to enjoy a drink. Friendly staff and overall a very nice experience.
Beautiful and elegant hotel right in the centre of historic Palermo - literally a stone's throw from the hustle and bustle of the restaurants and bars. Good continental breakfast selection. Our bedroom was comfortable and modern, and very clean. Highly recommend if you want to be at the heart of everything.

STAY HERE! After a nightmare check-in at another hotel we booked two last minute rooms at Al Balhara. On the phone, and even more in person the staff were so helpful and ensured our arrival was seamless and stress free. Instantly we felt like we had entered paradise, the lobby, grounds, and rooms were spotless and filled with beautiful architecture and Sicilian art ceramics. All staff were very friendly...
My wife and I were there in November 2021 for about 5 days. We THOROUGHLY enjoyed ourselves. The staff was FANTASTIC...so helpful and accommodating. The food was great, the room was great. Everyone went out of their way to ensure we had a great time...and we did. We would definitely recommend this resort. If we ever visit Sicily again, there is no question that we would make this our home.

I stopped in this hotel for 2 nights this month. I've chosen this place since it was close to where some friends celebrated their wedding. It has a few pros and some cons. Pros: the personnel is very very kind and the place is quite. There is a clean swimming pool and a spa (not tested). There is a nice town closeby (15 min walking) where you can eat good food. Nice view. Cons: the location. It is...
Good location with views of the bay (No beach access as it's rocky). The rooms have AC and tv but are otherwise pretty basic. Service is ok. Close to the airport. Good and free wifi. The place could benefit from a refurbishment.
Wonderful staff and amazing pina colada!! Best sunset view!! Very romantic!! Room prices are very reasonable!!
Sono stato all'hotel Bellevue per per il percorso benessere e la spa room, una esperienza davvero rilassante a un prezzo contenuto, che consiglio.
The staff is the jewel in the crown. The potential is there...but my god cured a little I'm place that looks like a hotel in disuse for years. A sin soon enough. The dinner of excellent quality. Good the spa-relax, but even here the details were a bit cold.
Excellent location, staff very kind, polite, a bit dated but clean, good quality great price, excellent food, if understood of the new zones I'll be back

The room was tidy and clean but the shower pressure was too low and the Wifi kept coming and going so I had to give up and use my own. I signaled it to the receptionist but nothing happened. Other than that, the staff were professional.
The hotel was neat and clean that staffs helped clean the bathroom and bed every day, we had an incredible stay in 4 nights. However, they didn’t offer kettle for boiling hot water, and their reason was that we had booked a standard room and hence no kettles were provided. If we needed hot water, we could only get it from the bar which closed at 22:30, meaning that if we got back to the hotel later...
Nice hotel in Palmero, close to the 107 bus stop that takes you into the center (trip takes about 30 minutes) The hotel was big and the room was clean with fresh bedding and towels. I arrived with a broken lock on my bag and the hotel staff helped me fix it! They were really helpful and friendly . WiFi was good and it was quiet at night, Nice rooftop terrace with bar There are some nice local...
Great view. Spacious room. Friendly reception. Fridge in the room.
Upon arrival, they initially wanted to give us a room facing the corridor, after a complaint we were given another. The room is minimally equipped, two people get one chair and one glass. A kettle was not provided upon request. At breakfast, the cakes are fresh and delicious. Italian coffee and cappuccino are also available upon request. The restaurant and bar staff are friendly and helpful.
Good experience overall. Fine breakfast, ok location, parking options are there, staff is nice and communicative, can't complain about anything really. We had a nice experience.

Our first time in Palermo. Very comfortable hotel, cheerful and helpful staff especially Martina and Leo in the restaurant. Great pool spoiled by very loud pop music in the poolside seating area. Overall a very good stay, thank you.
Wonderful hotel. Clean friendly. Martina in the dining room and the gentleman behind the bar ( whose name I did not get) were both terrific in assisting us. Thank you Geerd Mattheus
Paolo, a bartender at the NH Hotel is amazing. He was attentive to our needs from the moment we arrived and until we left. The hotel has beautiful views of the sea and the breakfast is a large variety of fruit, pastries, eggs, and breakfast meats.
Paolo was fantastic - he helped us while sitting by the pool and also in the evening with cocktails. The hotel is a perfect location, clean and safe. Their food is also fresh and delicious. Constantino makes an amazing espresso martini as well, one of the best we have ever had!
Overall, the hotel is a nice environment, but there are definite drawbacks which would prevent us from staying here again (we’re actually leaving earlier than planned). The biggest issue is the in room climate controls. While there is a thermostat in each room, allowing you to change the temperature, no matter how low you set it, the coldest the room will ever get is 23°C (~74°F). And, as many are...
Our room was small but perfectly formed with everything we needed. What let's this place down is the service. The breakfast was average. The coffee machines were not working either day we stayed. The produce itself was poor with very little choice. The pool area is beautiful. Plenty of towels and beds. However the service around the Poole is extremely poor and expensive. An old hotel on the outskirts of the city that offers good value for money, especially for those travelling by car. Palermo is a large and bustling city, but the hotel's free parking is easily accessible before the city centre gets busy. The hotel's breakfast is served on the 14th floor, which is a bit difficult to reach by lift at breakfast time, but the breakfast itself is tasty and extensive, including...
After reading some of the reviews of the hotel, I was dreading checking in. Yes, the hotel is a bit out of the way, in quite a run down area but Ubers and taxis were reasonably cheap. Our room was lovely, clean, massive bed and had everything that we needed. The public spaces were clean and comfortable, the pool area was clean but there was a definite lack of sunbeds and we didn't swim because of the...
I stayed here with my boyfriend for a holiday – overall, a good stay! The view from the window was absolutely stunning – one of the most beautiful I’ve ever seen! The rooms definitely need renovation. The air conditioning worked great and kept the room nice and cool. Breakfast was quite boring with limited options, but the food was tasty. The biggest downside – no real glasses, only plastic cups. The...
A good place to eat and to sleep.
The design is absolutely 20th century, as is much of the room aesthetic, which ends up feeling quaintly nostalgic. Waking up with a view of the sea at sunrise is a definite perk.
As for the stay, everything went relatively well, except that those who wanted to enjoy the pool in this heat would have to deal with a lifeguard who was perhaps a horrible, pretentious lifeguard with no respect for the tourists who were staying at the hotel, so for anyone who wanted to swim, choose another hotel. He forced us to get out of the water, claiming that the buoy wasn't for tourists but...

My stay was amazing right when I walked into the door. Amazing atmosphere amazing room with a balcony. Breakfast was something Ive never seen before. Top notch.claudio’s service is the best. The front desk is extremely helpful especially Augosto. He helped out so much.

Great hotel & friendly staff! Stayed here with my husband & 2 kids (10 & 8) and we loved it. Rooms were clean and the hotel was very nice. The cleanliness of this hotel superb and most importantly the service is impeccable! We’ve especially have enjoyed the breakfast staff who had served our needs during our stay here at this hotel.
All the staff at the hotel are so amazing, attentive and helpful. Agostino is absolutely great and helped us with everything we asked. Claudio at the bar is so fantastic. Elegantly styled classy hotel. Built in the past maybe by 50 years but very clean and well maintained. Good breakfast was part of my package. Location is on Via Liberta which is chic section of the urban metropolis that is Palermo. No regrets.
This is a really nice hotel with lots of style. the rooms a nicely furnished clean and comfortable. The staff are helpful and friendly. We particularly liked the restaurant, we arrived at 9.30pm but this had no effect on the excellent service and very good food and wine. the head waiter was fantastic. This is a good place to stay.
Excellent location overlooking gardens. Very friendly staff relaxing.
Very good and user friendly hotel although certain faucets in the BR need looking to. However enjoyed the stay. Thank you.
Recently, I have been invited to meet the management of this hotel after a severe critic published on Google. This has been an appreciated feedback and I have decided to share with you some reflection: 1. My method seems to me correct. I really like the 24-hour front desk here. They are very welcoming and helpful. The room is the best room in this price range. The picture shows the food court which is a 1-minute walk away.
I went a few months ago and my experience was great. The staff was super friendly and the hotel very cozy. The location was perfect, I could walk everywhere.
The room is clean, there is a good air conditioner, the Wi-Fi works. There is a gas water heater in the bathroom, so you won't be able to wash for a long time under a hot shower
This hotel is located in the center of Palermo. The elevator is also old-fashioned and there is no parking. The waiter recommended outdoor parking, which costs a higher fee of 20 euros a night. Breakfast was average.
Basique hôtel room, quite big but noisy (mostly coming from the corridors). Stayed there for a night so it was good and conveniently located
The moment I entered the room I could smell a little bit of cigarette, but when I switch on the aircon, the smell disappeared. The room, the bedsheets and the towels were really clean. The only problem was that I could hear people going in and out the room and it’s super loud. My stay include breakfast, but I think it could do better specially the eggs. It was about a 5-minute walk from the nearest bus stop. It took a while to get to the airport by bus. I was surprised that the building where I checked in was different from the building where I was staying.
Nice place. Luca and Luciano /the guys from the hotel were very kind. Parking in blue zone costs 1 euro per hour from 8 am to 2 pm and from 4 pm to 8 pm. From 2 pm to 4 pm there is no charge.
Spent 4 nights here in March, 2025. We cannot praise the staff enough - they were all excellent. The reception staff on arrival, and throughout were extremely helpful. Whether it was prepping our arrival or helping with onward travel arrangements, nothing was a problem or a chore to them. We enjoyed our two nights. The room was very spacious. David at the front desk was so friendly and very helpful along with all the staff. Breakfast was letdown though. With a small selection.
Decent rooms, awesome location! I slept on a third extra bed, which was way too short for me, but it was decently comfy. The room itself was big and clean. Breakfast could use a bit more variety, but altogether it was good.

The room/bed/elevator/parking was comfortable. The staff was nice and friendly. At the set dinner, it would have been better to have 3 dishes to choose from per category. If there had always been three types (pork/beef, chicken, fish). The breakfast was lacking in vegetables (tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers), and it would have been better to have a larger selection of savory foods (meat, cheese).
Decent Stay with Friendly Service Our stay at Hotel Villa Rossi was average, as expected from a 3-star property. The rooms were basic but acceptable. What stood out was the friendly and helpful staff at reception — great service from genuinely nice people. Overall, a decent experience for the price

Our story: We were on a cruise when we had an emergency requiring my wife to be hospitalized. Our port agent set us up in this hotel. The reception was welcoming and sympathetic. I chose the hotel with the best reviews in the price category that I was willing to spend. The hotel is very well located, simple, the furniture is worn and outdated, there are no minimal toiletries in the bathroom typical for a 4-star hotel. This is truly a remarkable hotel and you will agree once you’ve read through my comment. And yes, I too never comment unless it’s extremely good/bad. They did not jave the air conditioning on when we got to our room and the temperature was not satisfactory. They wanted us to remove the key card that controls the air at the front desk, which I did not appreciate
Two night stay We stayed for two nights. The first night, the bed was very comfortable, but the restaurant upstairs was loud until 1 a.m. On the second night, we changed rooms—the bed was very hard, but at least it was quiet. The front desk staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was just okay at best, but the rooftop views while eating were beautiful.
Great hotel Friendly staff, nice breakfast and a fantastic view of the city from the rooftop terrace. This is my second stay at this hotel. I prefer a room away from Via Roma, because the streetnoise is loud. Mattresses are a bit hard. I will stay here again next time i'm in Palermo.
Centrally located with excellent view/ balcony. However, extremely noisy all night long with uncomfortable bed left me sleep deprived. The mini fridge wasn’t working and I reported it on first day but it never was repaired or replaced. Shower is approx 3ft x 3ft, very tiny, luckily I’m a small lady, larger people would have a difficult time. I will not stay here again.
There is no elevator on the first floor. Only one small elevator for the whole building. Guests have to carry luggage up one flight of stairs to access elevator. No bellman to help you either.
Comfortable and clean room, good location in the city center and near train station, good breakfast with the best view in the city.

Fine location near Teatro Massimo and shopping streets, lots of restarants and bars in vicinity. Street noise gets in starting at 7 a.m. Thin walls ond doors let in sounds of living from the hotel. Ear plugs always in big demand. Cramped breakfast room, but OK food for a short stay. Friendly staff and good cleaning. As noticed earlier falls short of four stars
Loved this quaint Hotel. Very friendly staff and great breakfast offered. Very handy location. Great restaurants nearby.
Clean, tidy, staff are friendly and helpful. Very welcoming. Delicious breakfast. It’s central to pretty much everything. Close to some great gelato, restaurants and cafes. A short walk to the hop on bus. And to some amazing adventures! Enjoy!
City centre hotel on super busy street. Some way from main sights but outside congestion charge zone. Parking impossible except in pricey off street garages. Drab room with noisy bathroom fan and small windows. Cramped breakfast room and unexciting food offering. Helpful young staff. Ok for a short stay but definitely not a four star hotel-3 star is more realistic

Nice hotel, but hard to find and up stairs. The hotel was hard to find, down an unmarked side street, to piazza. Came from the train station. Asking two locals on the way, even they weren’t aware, but did eventually find it for me. The room was spacious, with comfortable bedding. Although up an elevator, also up a flight of stairs with suitcase. I had a delicious dinner at the hotel restaurant.
A palazzo with excellent appointments. Able reception staff comfortable room with walking access to fine dining and historic venues.
Highly recommend An outstanding location, beautiful palazzo and extremely helpful personable staff.
It was ok, bad bathroom and electricity was old fashioned and not really practical. People really friendly and professional
We enjoyed it throughout our stay in Palermo and highly recommend it for everyone visiting this fascinating city and its rich culture - the hotel Palazzo being part of it

Really loved our stay. Spacious room, lovely balcony over looking the square and air con was super efficient. Could do with more wardrobe/ cupboard space but we just loved the room. It was ideal.
The hotel is centrally located. The housekeeping is excellent, with clean bed sheets provided daily. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious. A top-quality full breakfast is offered, with many options including pastries, hot breakfast items, and fresh fruit. The staff is attentive and helpful.
We had a room on the 7th floor with a balcony. The view and location of the hotel was perfect for our stay. It was just far enough away from the hustle of the downtown area. We walked to and from the Opera house area with no problems. There is a gelato shop just on the corner from the hotel that has the best gelato. The hotel is situated across from the square, Teatro Politeama Garribaldi. We found...
The rooms are tremendously clean and well appointed. The only drawback to the rooms is that this is a boutique hotel and therefore the rooms are a bit smaller than a purpose built hotel. Having said that the location of the hotel and the staff of the hotel more than make up for room size. I was so appreciative to stay at a 4 star hotel with a staff that rivals any staff of any 5 star hotel that I...
In an excellent location and very friendly service! We were extremely satisfied with our stay here - the balcony was nice and spacious and we had a gorgeous view of the piazza outside the hotel. The rooms were a little outdated but nothing that would lead us not to rebook. What really made this hotel amazing was the rooftop bar - amazing service and even better atmosphere. I would highly recommend...
Great service, and the front staff is kind and friendly, which is wonderful. The room was spacious enough for a night’s stay and the bathroom was clean. The air conditioning worked well, the bedding was comfortable and the curtains blocked out most of the light. We did however notice that there were silverfish under the curtains, and that the tiles near the bottom of the wall kept falling off, which...

Gorgeous room with friendly, attentive staff. Can't praise enough the wonderful people who work here. Currently, breakfast is included & is delicious. The hotel is well-located in the midst of many points of interests & restaurants. We had a wonderful time.
The Massimo Hotel is located near many of the historical sites as well as the local markets. The room is a good size, but the “double” bed we had was very uncomfortable. It was also very loud inside since our room was located along the busy street. They offer a choice of sweet or savory for breakfast in your room, which was appreciated. If you have problems with stairs, beware that to enter the hotel...
Beautiful elegant well located in the heart of old town Palermo. Staff amazing very attentive and the rooms have great facilities. Would recommend for the perfect stay.
Wonderful staff, charming and helpful! Great location.
Cosy boutique hotel in the heart of Naples. No restaurant. Breakfast in the bar in own room. Located on a street with restricted tree traffic, but staff will park your car in paying car park
Beautiful hotel directly across from Teatro Massimo and walking distance to lots of shops and restaurants. Room was beautiful and clean, bathroom was roomy and had a big shower. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. One of our favorite hotel stays while traveling 2 weeks through Europe!

Comfortable stay It’s in the center but really comfortable and calm place with great service.
Not for noise-sensitive people. It was quite noisy, as the windows were very thin and there was no real natural light in my room. Cleanliness was mediocre. Towels are only changed after departure, I suspect.
We enjoyed our stay at this small hotel with a private courtyard. The room was clean and had a very spacious bathroom with a window (which is important to me). It's five minutes from Palazzo Reale Station, making it convenient for visiting the main attractions. The quietness at night is also remarkable, allowing for a good night's sleep. Breakfast is simple, but offers both sweet and savory options...
Together with other colleagues we stayed in this hotel near the University of Palermo. It is a family-run hotel and the staff was very helpful and welcoming, making our stay pleasant. Clean rooms with good daily cleaning service. Breakfast offered very good and eaten under a very nice (isolated) gazebo. I highly recommend!
We had a very good time, very helpful people managers. I would have given an extra star 6dr the mattress had been slightly softer. In any case it is a place that I recommend
Friendly staff. Basic breakfast (but the cannoli weren't there) Large, spartan rooms with dated decor. Certainly useful for using it as a foothold. Tip: soundproof the rooms and eliminate some furniture elements that are no longer appreciated and only useful for collecting dust (bedspreads and decorative pillows are an example). I give 4 stars because the price is still in line with what I had.
