Spacious, clean room with central location for exploring Palermo. On site parking and they let you stow your luggage pre and post checkout and check in. Breakfast on site with many refreshing options such as eggs, fresh fruit, pastries, yogurt, caffè. Only downside is the room smelled like smoke on and off during the stay.

We only stayed overnight as we were going to use the ferry over to Cagliari the next morning. Ideal as it's just across Palermo port. Had a good experience. Staff couldn't be more helpful.

Great building or complex. This grand hotel consists of 3 former palaces. And there are many marvellous dreams to discover inside. The cool inner courtyard is wonderful on hot summer days. Very nice hotel. Excellent air conditioning. No complaints. Yes, the beds are quite firm but that didn't bother me.

Mattress was very hard. AC was inoperable. WiFi was very poor. Reception was very professional and the building itself is steeped in heritage. It’s a true hit or miss.

I enjoyed my stay in the Mercury hotel. The receptionist (Sylvia) gave to me a great service by changing my single room and giving me another single roome with nicer view and more confortable. The breakfast was delicious and rich. Coffe machine workd perfectly and everything was nice!

Very good overall. The breakfast was actually fantastic. The location was b close the main nubs one towards the city centre. The bus cost about 1.30. A taxi or uber is 15-20 euros but the walk is just 20 minutes city centre. City tax is also very cheap!

Stayed here for three nights and loved every minute of it. Perfect central location, rooms are brand new and completely updated, cleaning staff’s attention to detail is immaculate, and the breakfast was delicious. This is a stunning hotel and we enjoyed our stay very much!

Great location and it is easy to see that this was once a pinnacle of luxury. Despite efforts to keep the hotel up to its former glory, there are noticeable signs of aging. That aside, the rooms were very clean and spacious, the staff friendly and accommodating and breakfast in an opulent ball room felt quite luxurious.

It was a good location, food at the restaurant was relatively good. (Though you don't get to chose the food so it was hit or miss in that regard) Elevators made funny noises, scared a few patrons. Shower did not drain properly, but in many ways beat other local hotels. Average. Purely average minus the beautiful lobby.

Gorgeous hotel, and pleasant staff. I was disappointed however to find that women are charged more than men for the laundry service. Quite why it should be more expensive to place a female item of clothing into a washing machine than a male one escapes me, and this is why I have deducted one star.

Venue was somewhat noisy from street activity and whilst location is central there were some minor issues. Rooms are cosy and walls in need of a clean. Air Conditioning was loud and floors creaky under foot. Sleep comfort was OK and some toiletries were provided.

This was part of a bus tour of Sicily. I have to say the hotel is great. Fantastic location and easy access to the town centre. The rooms are a decent size and clean. This hotel is ideally situated in Palermo. We are a few hundred yards from the hop on hop off bus stop and about 15 minutes walk from the Tetro Massimo. The train station is also easily accessible and a few stops on the bus. Very good experience. Although it could still improve in the design of the corridors and change the air conditioned machine which is quite old and a bit noisy, we had a great time. Pleasant one night stay in this Best Western . It’s convenient to Palermo Lolli train station for airport … ten minute walk and in a nice area . because the rooms are so small that they should decorate somewhat, not one picture on the wall, the bare minimum on towels, no ventilation inside the bathroom, way overpriced of what I'm accustomed to, 15 euro for parking in front, unless you paid an extra 20 euro for two people, there's no breakfast

I think I'm being a little generous awarding three stars, if it wasn't for the staff being friendly and helpful I would be struggling to give two stars. Quiet hotel just around the corner from Vittorio Emmanuel and promenade. Breakfast selection was good and the staff were uber attentive. Hotel located in a strategic position with regards one of the most ancient neighborhoods of this spectacular city whose paradox and contradictions are peculiar aspects of her beauty. We had a good stay here. The rooftop terrace is certainly the most beautiful part of the hotel. It is centrally located on Via Roma at walking distance to all sights and the train station. Friendly staff. Basic breakfast (but the cannoli weren't there) Large, spartan rooms with dated decor. Certainly useful for using it as a foothold. Tip: soundproof the rooms and eliminate some furniture elements that are no longer appreciated and only useful for collecting dust (bedspreads and decorative pillows are an example). I give 4 stars because the price is still in line with what I had.

We are at home now, we have been coming for 4 years and we have always found ourselves just fine. Hospitality, friendliness, clean rooms and reasonable prices.
