The service from the staff and manager at Villa Lampedusa was wonderful! We had a very stressful day, with our flights cancelled and last minute booking at the hotel via our airline. The manager was so helpful and accommodating and managed to arrange a transfer for us to and from the hotel. It was so good we requested to stay again for our second night until our rescheduled flight. Excellent food available...
A short visit for pick up. Lovely place.
Located in a private gated location . With your key is a fob for opening the gate to the hotel and parking . It is a small hotel about 12 rooms . Check in was slow because they couldn’t find our reservations , but eventually , after a phone call to the tour operator we got our Keys. The room was large with nice furniture , the bed was comfortable . The bathrooms nice size with good shower . The hotel...
lovely place! executive room was really nice and everything works. staff is very friendly and helpful ☺️ I would recommend - thank you!
“Definitely coming back there when in Sicily.
Liked everything about this place - Private, safe parking, Great, quiet location with really nice view. Next to the best ever Restaurant (La Braciera - must go!) The room was really spacious and to very high standard. Very helpfull staff
We stayed 6 nights in this beautiful residence, chosen on the recommendation of a friend of mine who has already stayed and me he suggested. I can confirm the opinion of my friend. The judgment is, in fact, very positive: in its category it deserves, say, 4.5 stars, is the location close to everything (Stadium, Beaches, Hospitals, City Centre and Airport) and for the enchanting view on the village...

Breakfast was a real highlight – served in a lovely café with plenty of options to choose from and a truly magical view.
As for the property itself, I’m left with mixed feelings. The location is excellent, with a direct view of Teatro Massimo, and the staff were friendly and professional. They explained clearly how to park the car and were responsive whenever I had a question.

What an incredible place to stay! First time in Palermo from NY and we picked the BEST place to stay. Communication was wonderful from start to finish. All staff were very friendly. Rooms were extremely clean. Views of the square and Teatro Massimo were beautiful. We had 3 apartments and each had 2-3 balconies per room. Air conditioning worked great. Cafe for breakfast right outside front door. Elevator...
Perfect location and better value
What a perfect location at an amazing price and value. The room had plenty of room and was exactly what we needed after a long days road trip. Would definitely stay here again! Soo many good restaurants close by.
Great spot - very close to everything in the old town, spacious, and quiet in the rooms. The staff was a little obnoxious during check in - messaging me several times a day to ask the exact time I was getting in despite me telling them over and over again that I didn't know an exact time. I would've appreciated more flexibility here, as it made traveling feel stressful and I had already told them that...
Amazing location, next to all the sights and restaurants and shopping. The staff were super helpful and very responsive the whole weekend. We loved our stay, and also felt the room/view was perfect. The only regret was not knowing about the restaurant on the roof! Looks like we have to come back 😂

Rooms need renovation, reception quick and efficient, location correct but near harbour. Perfect view over port from restaurant
Though the hotel is situated near the port, it’s very loud even in the night.
The hotel room was very big but not that many furniture items there. And not very well equipped.
The staff was very friendly and the service was very good, but the breakfast hasn’t raised up to the expectations and the hotel deserves at most a 3 star rating
Nice hotel with good roomy rooms. The view was to the new port which was okay, but not as beautiful. Excellent breakfast and service.
Enjoyed a very nice stay at the Ibis, was provided a brand new renovated room. Nice views over the harbor, covetable and spacious - wry modern feel! Service staff were all excellent providing great helpful tips and service. Breakfast on level 7 was nice with plenty of options.
All good except for the staff at breakfast. Other than 1 server….unfriendly and rude.
Helped myself to gluten free products in a drawer and got scolded for it! But the morning before the other server said to help myself.
Perfect place to stay in Palermo historical center. Close to most attractions. Staff very friendly and nice. Room spacious and clean. Good breakfast. Recommended

The hotel is good overall. The rooms are clean and functional, although a bit worn-out and in need of renovation. The location was good, and with parking spots on the street.
The breakfast was good, with various options. Staff was kind and helpful.
Overall, we were happy with our stay. The room was spacious and comfortable, though the decor lacked charm. We especially enjoyed the breakfast—everything was of high quality.
Our story: We were on a cruise when we had an emergency requiring my wife to be hospitalized. Our port agent set us up in this hotel. The reception was welcoming and sympathetic. We had to switch rooms to accommodate incoming guests and they made the transfer easy and moved out luggage. A big surprise was the restaurant. Our dinners were very good and the chef surprised us with a special treat...
I chose the hotel with the best reviews in the price category that I was willing to spend. The hotel is very well located, simple, the furniture is worn and outdated, there are no minimal toiletries in the bathroom typical for a 4-star hotel. The bed is uncomfortable and only one card given to unlock the door. The shower is so small that I barely had room in it, the breakfast unspectacular. The staff...
Greatly located just in the heart of old Palermo, and very quiet in the same time, serving very tasty breakfasts for all needs, spacious room (we opted for privilege one), and great views: see and mountain just in opposite directions.

I had a massage during my stay. This massage was the highlight of my time in the hotel. Laura was exceptionally skillful and gave me the most intuitive and relaxing massage. I would recommend the fitness and beauty center to everyone.
This is truly a remarkable hotel and you will agree once you’ve read through my comment. And yes, I too never comment unless it’s extremely good/bad.
First, the interiors of this hotel are way better than the photos. I initially thought the photos were tacky for my taste but when I arrived, the high ceilings and ornate decor were classically beautiful and everything was immaculately clean.

Room: 3.5/5 the decor of the rooms matches the royalty of the city, beautifully decorated. However, bathrooms are small (in line with what you find in Europe) with tight shower. Beds were extremely comfy. Some noise of the city at night - but this was not big deal to us as we knew it was what you get in the city.
Service: 3.5/5 front desk is excellent (5/5). Booked us private taxi from airport and...
The absolute best location if you’re staying in Palermo. You are literally in the heart of paradise. Let me begin by saying that the staff goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome. The Hotel is very elegant, super clean and you will be treated like royalty. . You will not regret booking this hotel.
Very nice hotel a stone's throw from the city center, on a quiet street (if you can consider the streets of Palermo quiet!) The room is spacious and well-equipped, furnished in the style of the period, but with all modern comforts. The hotel rooms are relatively small and the facilities are also very rudimentary. Breakfast is average. The only advantage is that it is located on the pedestrian street in the center of the city, making it convenient to go to surrounding attractions
Both are good. Better than Marseille.
The service is very good. It's a bit fried on the main road! The restaurant next to it is good! The car to the airport was well arranged and picked up at 3 am!
Parking is a bit expensive, 15 euros a day, there is an underground parking lot next to the hotel, but it is better to have it than not. The hotel decoration is a bit old, but it is relatively clean. The location of the hotel is very good.
Ibis is a little worse than Mercure Palermo, but overall it is okay

"Great location and exceptional service! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The location is excellent, and the highlight was the incredibly friendly receptionist. Lovely hotel in an excellent location. The bus from Palermo airport stops opposite outside 'Teatro Politeama Garibaldi' so it's super easy to get to. Central Palermo walkable from the hotel, or lots of buses nearby. Big, spacious room. Staff super friendly and helpful!
Pretty ok but there's no actual air conditioning (it's a weird water-cooled system which barely gets the room temperature down to "not dying of heat" while the corridors actually *are* air-conditioned) and the WiFi kinda sucks; I've never been able to actually use it.

I spent a long time looking for a nearby parking lot. This place is not suitable for self-driving, but the location is very good, it is equivalent to living in Wangfujing Pedestrian Street

The staff were awesome. Very helpful and accommodating. The location is in the heart of downtown so it’s very walkable. If you want to park there, you better have a SMALL car. The service staff were excellent. Breakfast was delicious every morning. The room could have been clean. There was black stuff coming out of the tiles when I was showering. I was here for business, usually only back in the room after working hours, and the room met my basic needs.
Fantastic facility, very kind and knowledgeable staff. My compliments to everyone. Excellent breakfast. When we return to Palermo, we will return. Thank you...
Despite some negative comments, perhaps from people who stayed on the first floor, we were very happy with our stay at this hotel. The wait staff was extremely friendly, the breakfast was excellent, the room was clean, and the parking was free.
The only downside was the poor soundproofing in the rooms, but it was completely quiet after 11 p.m.
Food very basic, toilet makes a loud noise when you flush, you could hear people next door. Nice place overall, very clean, i would recommend as beds are very comfortable and its great if you are going with friends or on a school trip.
This place is simple/basic but all is clean and works properly. The mattress is comfortable. They offer a fair breakfast.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Vecchio Borgo! The staff, especially Matina, were absolutely amazing—so kind, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything we needed. The room was extremely comfortable, with excellent AC that kept us cool even on hot days. One of the things we appreciated most was how perfectly dark the room stayed, even in the middle of the day—thanks to the high-quality curtains...
All good here :) was clean and the staff was helpful. Bit noisy neighborhood in the weekend
Venue was somewhat noisy from street activity and whilst location is central there were some minor issues. Rooms are cosy and walls in need of a clean. Air Conditioning was loud and floors creaky under foot. Sleep comfort was OK and some toiletries were provided.
This was part of a bus tour of Sicily. I have to say the hotel is great. Fantastic location and easy access to the town centre. The rooms are a decent size and clean. The front desk are very helpful and provided a jug on request as well as lots of free ice from the bar. Only quibble is the super loud night club nearby. We didn’t sleep at all!! The location of the hotel is very good, you can walk to many attractions, very close to the street of the Grand Theater, the facilities are relatively new, and the experience of staying is good.

Two night stay
We stayed for two nights. The first night, the bed was very comfortable, but the restaurant upstairs was loud until 1 a.m. On the second night, we changed rooms—the bed was very hard, but at least it was quiet. The front desk staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was just okay at best, but the rooftop views while eating were beautiful.
Great hotel
Friendly staff, nice breakfast and a fantastic view of the city from the rooftop terrace.
This is my second stay at this hotel. I prefer a room away from Via Roma, because the streetnoise is loud. Mattresses are a bit hard.
I will stay here again next time i'm in Palermo.
Centrally located with excellent view/ balcony. However, extremely noisy all night long with uncomfortable bed left me sleep deprived. The mini fridge wasn’t working and I reported it on first day but it never was repaired or replaced. Shower is approx 3ft x 3ft, very tiny, luckily I’m a small lady, larger people would have a difficult time. I will not stay here again.
There is no elevator on the first floor. Only one small elevator for the whole building. Guests have to carry luggage up one flight of stairs to access elevator. No bellman to help you either.
Comfortable and clean room, good location in the city center and near train station, good breakfast with the best view in the city.

Fine location near Teatro Massimo and shopping streets, lots of restarants and bars in vicinity. Street noise gets in starting at 7 a.m. Thin walls ond doors let in sounds of living from the hotel. Loved this quaint Hotel. Very friendly staff and great breakfast offered. Very handy location. Great restaurants nearby.
Clean, tidy, staff are friendly and helpful. Very welcoming. Delicious breakfast. It’s central to pretty much everything. Close to some great gelato, restaurants and cafes. A short walk to the hop on bus. And to some amazing adventures! Enjoy!
City centre hotel on super busy street. Some way from main sights but outside congestion charge zone. Parking impossible except in pricey off street garages. Lovely boutique hotel. Spacious and clean rooms. Located next to Ballaro market. Close to magnificent churches. Easy and fast check in. Only issue was no help with luggage upon check in - and there is a step to get to elevator. Breakfast (included) was mediocre. It can get noisy when there are events booked at hotel.
Nice hotel, but hard to find and up stairs.
The hotel was hard to find, down an unmarked side street, to piazza. Came from the train station. Asking two locals on the way, even they weren’t aware, but did eventually find it for me. The hotel has its own atmosphere - beautiful decor. Very good location - you can walk everywhere, to the main attractions of the city, to the center, to restaurants. Location is good. Safe and comfortable with a supermarket on a next street and shopping area around.
Overall its an old hotel that needs renovation
Breakfast is fine.
Rooms poorly equipped.
Shower is a disaster
Hotel in a great and central location. Efficient public transport.
We had a wonderful experience at this hotel, despite reading a few negative reviews.
Very good value for money.

Extremely good location. Daily cleaning. But the room is extremely simple too, don't even have kettle..
Very comfortable room and location, worthy for the price
Got a single room facing the road and railway station. Very noisy! First they gave the room facing the yard but it was smelling cigars too strongly and I asked to change it. No soap in the shower, slightly dirty and dusty. Too small.
The room wasn't very large, with just one queen-size bed. The bathroom curtain was a bit crudely hung and sometimes needed to be manually adjusted (you need to be at least 1.72 meters tall to find it easy). The front desk is staffed 24 hours a day, but check-in is not until 3:00 PM. The best part is that it's conveniently located across from the central train station, just across the zebra crossing...
Not a bad hotel. Took for one night. Breakfast from 7 am, did not manage to get to it. There were no problems with hot water, Wi-Fi works
We had paid the city fee (tax) to a front desk clerk when we checked in on the first day, but when we checked out, another clerk told us that we had not paid the city fee. We described the clerk who collected the money at that time, but the clerk who checked out said there was no record, and because we had to catch a train, we had to pay the city fee again. This was a bad experience.
