The service from the staff and manager at Villa Lampedusa was wonderful! We had a very stressful day, with our flights cancelled and last minute booking at the hotel via our airline. The manager was so helpful and accommodating and managed to arrange a transfer for us to and from the hotel. Despite some negative comments, perhaps from people who stayed on the first floor, we were very happy with our stay at this hotel. The wait staff was extremely friendly, the breakfast was excellent, the room was clean, and the parking was free. The only downside was the poor soundproofing in the rooms, but it was completely quiet after 11 p.m.

Venue was somewhat noisy from street activity and whilst location is central there were some minor issues. Rooms are cosy and walls in need of a clean. Air Conditioning was loud and floors creaky under foot. Sleep comfort was OK and some toiletries were provided.

This was part of a bus tour of Sicily. I have to say the hotel is great. Fantastic location and easy access to the town centre. The rooms are a decent size and clean. Centrally located with excellent view/ balcony. However, extremely noisy all night long with uncomfortable bed left me sleep deprived. The mini fridge wasn’t working and I reported it on first day but it never was repaired or replaced. Shower is approx 3ft x 3ft, very tiny, luckily I’m a small lady, larger people would have a difficult time. I will not stay here again.

There is no elevator on the first floor. Only one small elevator for the whole building. Guests have to carry luggage up one flight of stairs to access elevator. No bellman to help you either.

Asking two locals on the way, even they weren’t aware, but did eventually find it for me. The room was spacious, with comfortable bedding. Got a single room facing the road and railway station. Very noisy! First they gave the room facing the yard but it was smelling cigars too strongly and I asked to change it. No soap in the shower, slightly dirty and dusty. Too small.

The room wasn't very large, with just one queen-size bed. The bathroom curtain was a bit crudely hung and sometimes needed to be manually adjusted (you need to be at least 1.72 meters tall to find it easy). The front desk is staffed 24 hours a day, but check-in is not until 3:00 PM. The best part is that it's conveniently located across from the central train station, just across the zebra crossing...

Not a bad hotel. Took for one night. Breakfast from 7 am, did not manage to get to it. There were no problems with hot water, Wi-Fi works

We had paid the city fee (tax) to a front desk clerk when we checked in on the first day, but when we checked out, another clerk told us that we had not paid the city fee. We described the clerk who collected the money at that time, but the clerk who checked out said there was no record, and because we had to catch a train, we had to pay the city fee again.
