The location of The Rif Hotel is fantastic - just a short walk to the City wall and the amazing sights of the Leaning Tower and so on. It is small - I think there were 12 rooms. We had room 12 which is probably two rooms that have been put together to form a suite. The best thing about the room was the large balcony and since we had lovely warm weather in mid October, we used it a lot. The room itself could be hugely improved with a bit of a redesign frankly. The bathroom is too small and yet the room next door has nothing but a massive 2 person bath! This took 45 minutes to fill but gave us a good laugh. The bed should be larger for this kind of room. That said, we liked the space overall. Breakfast was a buffet with plenty to tempt you. Fresh coffee was served although with scrambled eggs. We sat outside overlooking the gardens. All very nice, and all of the staff were truly lovely. 3 nights was about €1300 which I thought was ok value. The main upside is the location….

We loved this hotel, staff very friendly & welcoming. Set in a beautiful garden and has a lovely terrace with plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy a glass of wine. Breakfast was very good, so much better than chain hotels. Bedroom was comfortable. Great location, 10 min walk to The Tower of Pisa and the main town & restaurants. We would highly recommend this hotel. A little bit of paradise in the city of Pisa. We only stayed 1 night but wished we could’ve stayed longer.

Beautiful hotel set in beautiful gardens & a lovely terrace, perfect to relax sipping a glass of wine. A little bit of paradise set in the city of Pisa. Perfect location, 5 min walk to the leaning tower of Pisa. Staff very friendly & service is 5 star, made us feel very welcome, even took our luggage to our room. Room beautifully decorated and comfortable. We would highly recommend & will definitely stay here again.

My wife and I visited Pisa for the first time and we are happy that we stayed at the Riff Boutique Hotel for four nights. The hotel exceeded our expectations. Good breakfast, very comfortable area with a fountain, and most importantly, very professional and friendly staff — from the front desk administrators to the room cleaners. There is a designated smoking area where you can enjoy a cigar without disturbing other guests. I definitely recommend it.

This boutique hotel was beautiful, a small oasis in the middle of pisa, the staff were incredible, the service excellent y and great value for money, I could not recommend highly enough. I loved the garden with a tranquil fountain and beautiful plants

Great location, right next to the main sights, which makes it comfortable and convenient even on a hot summer weather. The rooms are very cozy with air condition and very clean. Staff is very attentive, friendly and professional. Great breakfast also with an amazing terrasse to enjoy it at (big shout out to Samantha for the great breakfast service!). Totally recommended if you are thinking to visit Pisa and looking for a great, convenient location!

Stayed recently in the family room with two doubles. The room was quite small but that’s to be expected in Pisa! The room was very quiet and the air con was very effective. The car park onsite was convenient and very secure. The location is top class and it is only a few minutes walk to the leaning tower. There is an access code on the main gate in which makes the location quite secure.

A very nice hotel, large cool rooms and located well if you want to visit the leaning tower and various restaurants and bars. The breakfast is not good value. There is not a lot on offer and the bread toaster is pretty useless. Parking charges are also excessive at €22 per night.

Super cute hotel, was previously a stately home. We stayed in a family room at the back of the property. It had a great patio with comfy furniture. 5 minute walk to the Piazza where the Leaning Tower is located. The neighborhood is slightly sketchy so I recommend paying for their parking, which is gated. They do seem understaffed but the staff were all super nice. We ordered room service and it was not very good. More like they purchased food from a grocery store and heated it up in the microwave. It was a perfect location and good nights sleep for the family so it suited our purposes.

Beautiful old home converted into a Boutique Hotel. Lovely grounds. We stayed in a room in the back of the property, maybe an old converted garage or shed. It had a lovely patio with comfy furniture. The room was comfortable and clean. It is a 5 minute walk to the Piazza Del Duomo where the Leaning Tower is located. Excellent service.
