Hotel Savoia

We are a couple in our 60’s. We stayed at the Hotel Savoia in September of 2024. The hotel has a great location, halfway up the hill. You are going to do lots of difficult walking on cobblestones paths shared with vehicles, so being centrally located is a plus. No heels - bring good tennis shoes.
The breakfast is fabulous. A great way to start everyday - a huge spread guaranteed to please all appetites. The desk was very helpful with directions and reservations. We took the boat in - highly recommend using the Blue porters for your bags. We took a cab to Naples for our departing flight at 6:00am. Leaving early was great as the city is extremely busy during the day. The rooms are very spacious and clean. You cannot go wrong at this hotel.

I recently stayed at this charming family-run hotel, and I can’t recommend it enough! From the moment we arrived, the front desk staff greeted us with warmth and genuine hospitality. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable, offering great local recommendations and assistance with any questions we had.

Its location was perfect—just a short, easy walk to the beach, making it convenient for outings. Plus, the restaurant in the hotel was fantastic.

If you're looking for the perfect place to stay in Positano, look no further. Hotel Savoia was an absolute dream. My friend and I were in awe of the views, which were idyllic, picturesque, and so astonishingly beautiful that it seemed surreal. The location is wonderful; you have views of the Mediterranean Sea and also of the city, and it's within walking distance to (nearly) everything. The rooms are beautiful, as are the balconies where you can take in the views (we opted for the balcony with the jacuzzi). I loved that Hotel Savoia is a family-owned business, and it definitely showed. The staff and service were kind, humble, and helpful.

A trip to the Amalfi Coast is quite expensive when done properly. If you're wondering if Hotel Savoia is worth the price, it absolutely is.

Hotel Savoia was AMAZING! I cant say enough good things. The staff was so friendly & helpful. Our room with patio & hot tub was the perfect place to relax. The location gives you the best of both worlds.. easy walk to the beach area and easy walk up higher to more restaurants & shops. The food at the hotel was also a highlight. Thank you for making our honeymoon special!

Hotel Savoia absolutely incredible. It is the perfect location in Positano with only a 5 minute walk to the beach without climbing many steps on the way back up. The breakfast each morning was amazing, especially with the open-concept kitchen with a chef cooking any type of eggs or omelette you would like. We checked in early at 12:00 and Margarita at the front desk couldn't have been more helpful or nice and showed us to our room immediately, as well as offering to assist with any excursion or dinner reservations for us. Very kid-friendly as well as we traveled with our two children and the family room with the terrace was perfect and beautiful. 100% recommend!

Driving through in the rental car. Did not want return to Naples. We were rejected by a different hotel that just was at capacity. Recommended for us to go down to the hotel and they had a room for us available. check in was easy and the front desk was very kind to me. Also the best part was the morning breakfast spread. It was just amazing to have breakfast with you. Fresh squeezed juice, all options were available. And also not a far walk from beach shopping.

We recently stayed at Hotel Savoia in Positano and had a fantastic experience! The beautifully renovated apartment room impressed us with its excellent layout, balancing functionality and character. The bathrooms were spacious, with great shower pressure and ample hooks, making it super convenient.

Although there were no ocean views from our second-floor room, the location was perfect for enjoying the vibrant street life and people-watching. The kitchen was a handy addition, and we appreciated the generosity with complimentary water.

There was an occasional sewerage smell outside, but it wasn't a major issue. Highly recommend!

This is the most beautiful hotel in the best location in Positano! We can’t recommend it enough. The view from our balcony was perfect and it meant we were able to relax with some drinks without fighting the Positano day crowds for spots with a view. At night the view was equally as beautiful. The hotel room itself was absolutely gorgeous, spacious and felt very fresh, clean and contemporary while still having an authentic Italian charm! The tiles and decor was beautiful. The staff were all always super helpful and so polite. We enjoyed drinks in the bar, and the breakfast had lots of options and many delicious pastries! Thank you so much to the team at Hotel Savoia for the best hotel experience we’ve ever had 💛

We loved this hotel, it really became our home for one week! The staff is so professional and welcoming! Nice rooms! The view from our room was wow! And the location is just perfect, right in the city center! Highly recommend!

Not sure what could have been better, we were in heaven. But this is coming from a white, middle class American man in his 30s, and I'm sure it's different for others. It was a short walk to the beach, but that's the whole point of walking around this beautiful city.
