One&Only Portonovi

My wife and I stayed at the this hotel for our honeymoon in September. We absolutely loved it! Everything about this place is spectacular. The grounds were actually quite big if you include the surrounding marina. The food quality of the restaurants on the hotel grounds were extremely consistent and I was very pleased at how attentive their staff was to my wife’s allergy. The best part about this hotel is the day trips they can organize for you to explore the beautiful surrounding areas. Our favorite were the boat tours around the bay and nearby sea. Our boat driver/guide for our first boat trip, Uros, was also our guide to see Dubrovnik. He was fantastic and his hospitality made our trip even more special. Highly recommend working with the concierge to see if you can work with Uros! The rest of the staff across the hotel, spa, bars, restaurants, and even our other boat driver, Nano, were so kind and fun! I would definitely recommend staying here for luxurious yet adventurous trip!

Gorgeous hotel! Wonderful artificial beach! Italian restaurant!

This is our second visit to this extraordinary hotel over Xmas Eve and it never disappoints. The setting with the backdrop of the Lovcen mountain range and looking across Boka Bay is sublime.

The rooms are beautifully designed and the bath tub experience is a magical moment!

The design, kit out and attention to detail make this hotel unique but ultimately it’s the staff who are the heros. NOTHING is too much trouble and they go above and beyond to make your stay memorable.

The Xmas gift boxes packed with locally sourced honey, hand poured soya candles and hand knitted socks is a lovely touch and very much appreciated.

The gym/spa is also in a class if its own and we took full advantage of the complimentary exercise classes and fabulous to see pilates reformer beds.

We dined in the restaurant Xmas eve - to be honest not convinced by the gala set menu, though some of us were able to order from Al La Carte - dinner was average but breakfast in a class of its own. And once again it’s the staff and service that makes this an outstanding experience.

Oh …. And the hotel allows you to bring small well behaved dogs! 🐕 Our cocker spaniel was punching a bit above the weight allowance, but for a €55 charge it was worth it to have him with us.

WOW, I had a beautiful Winter escape.
I couldn’t recommend this time of year to visit enough! It feels like a private retreat / reset experience.
The service was exceptional on all points, nothing was missed & the team often knows what you need before yourself - leading to ultra relaxation mode.
The spa was incredible, I experienced the Hammam which was everything my skin needed. While then adding a facial to my stay, which was a beautiful end to my trip.
In room dining was perfect for the rainy nights & japanese was an absolute standout.
The gym was a fun place to hang, so made working out easy with amazing equipment & sensational views ! Gym team were amazing as well as the assistance keeping the change rooms so clean.
The memories I will continue to think about & relive for a lifetime.

This is a truly beautiful resort. If you’re coming to Montenegro and hoping to stay at one place and soak in resort amenities this is the hotel for you. If you’re looking for European charm I’d recommend looking elsewhere. There are so many sweet old towns to discover outside of the resort but they can be difficult to get to. We called the front desk to organize car transfer and they quoted us a ridiculous amount- our travel agent contacted the hotel and was quoted a much more affordable rate for the exact same car and distance. The food here was just okay. We enjoyed our meals outside of the resort much more than on the property. The spa IS something to write home about. Although expensive, the services and amenities were amazing. Portonovi (translated to new port) is very new and recently built. It has no charm and no history.

Luxury at it’s finest, a beautiful hotel, with fantastic service, spectacular views and the perfect romantic or family getaway! A completely relaxing environment with amazing food options in the resort, we truly enjoyed every moment of our time at One & Only Portonovi. The Marina Port is a quick walk if you wish to explore the nearby town, however the resort has everything you wish for and more, so there’s truly no reason to leave! Incredible gym, pool, spa facilities! Somewhere I am definitely planning to come back and visit, and will always recommend!

My recent stay at One&Only Portonovi was nothing short of incredible! As regular guests of Rosewood and Four Seasons, this was our first time at One&Only, and I was truly blown away by the level of attentiveness and service.

From the moment our driver, Dennis, picked us up at our hotel in Dubrovnik, the experience was exceptional. Dennis made the journey smooth and enjoyable, sharing interesting insights about Montenegro along the way. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Rade, Kristina, and Marc, who set the tone for the rest of our stay with their professionalism and genuine hospitality. Special thanks to Rade for organizing our boat trip and for personally guiding us around, alongside Neno, our captain. You both made our experience unforgettable!

A heartfelt thank you to Slajana, who took care of us every morning at breakfast, always remembering our preferences – it was such a thoughtful touch. Valentina, my spa therapist, also deserves a special mention for her amazing care, and Daniello and Stefan at Tapasake and the Italian restaurant made dining an absolute pleasure.

You all contributed to making our stay truly memorable, and I cannot wait for our upcoming experience at One&Only Reethi Rah in November!

If I could give this 10 stars I would. Highly impressed with the how clean, luxurious and spacious this resort is. Everything little detail is highly thought of, from the moment you enter in front entrance, all the way to the room, pools and beach. The staff is amazing , food is delicious, fresh and abundant menu & choices. We extended our stay, it was definitely hard to say goodbye. We will forever treasure this place.

Stunning hotel property. Kinda off in its own little world. Everything about the hotel was just really good amenity wise. I didn’t leave the property while I was there it was just a bit expensive to get into town as a solo traveler. But that didn’t upset me too much again because there was more than enough to do in property.

Only two things that let me down- first the housekeeping team didn’t fully prepare my room for arrival, when I checked into room the toilet was clean and a surprise was in the toilet for me. The manager did rectify the situation for me which was nice. Otherwise the sushi restaurant /pool service was definitely a miss which led to some frustration and disappointment. Eva the waitress was great and if it wasn’t for her there would have been a bigger issue. The service team in the main restaurant was great and the chef prepared some great food.
