I spend the days after New Year’s Eve in this hotel, didn’t book it myself, it was a selection of the Agency.
But for me my partner and my kids it was a great experience.
The room was perfect, spacious for the 4 of us. The staff helped us with a crib as requested.
The view was astonishing, and considering the high temperature that happened on January 1st in all the Balkan, we did enjoy it a lot.
The location is the best in Tivat.
I would love to visit again!

Beautiful hotel but very inconsistent quality throughout the stay.
- Some of the bottled amenities in the room have gone really bad, with greasy smell and cheesy texture.
- The glasses provided in the room had obviously never been washed. Welcome nuts were stale and inedible.
- The closet was dirty.
- Having no plates or cooking/ eating utensils in the kitchenette was also quite strange.
- SPA Sauna and steam rooms were quite underwelming. Pool stinks.

I’m giving Regent Porto a 2-star rating due to the disappointing experience during what was supposed to be a special birthday trip for my partner. First, the balcony had no furniture, contrary to what was mentioned on booking.com, which was a letdown as we had hoped to enjoy the view.
However, the biggest letdown was how the hotel completely overlooked my partner’s birthday, despite us notifying them at the time of booking. The front desk assistant even acknowledged it upon check-in, mentioning they would prepare a beautiful cake for him. We traveled 7 hours by air and 2 hours by land for this trip, hoping to make it perfect. Sadly, the property did nothing—no card, no cake, not even a simple acknowledgment of his special day.
We ended up dining at Maya Bay, a restaurant at the property, to at least celebrate on our own. The waiter noticed it was a birthday dinner and wished my partner a happy birthday, but things only got more frustrating from there. Halfway through the meal, the restaurant crew started singing “Happy Birthday.” I naturally thought it was for us, only to realize it was for another table. I kept waiting, thinking our turn would come next, but it never did. We left the restaurant feeling overlooked and incredibly disappointed. What was meant to be a special celebration turned into a frustrating and disappointing experience.

Pros: Beautiful hotel in an exclusive area with many restaurants, shops and bars, and its own marina. Very nice lobby area. Decent selection for breakfast.
Cons: Rooms are a little tired. Service can be improved. Without going into details, I had requested to change room, to which the reception staff was a little impatient. The room was eventually changed but the experience was not pleasant. When I moved into the new room, a wrong greetings card was placed along with sweets and wine that were meant for another guest.
I had filled in an online review survey as required by the hotel, and I provided a similar feedback. The hotel responded quickly to say, in a nutshell, “just to remind you, you did book a room with no view” without going into details about service levels. Again, it’s not pleasant to receive such response when you were promoted to provide a review, but it was quickly brushed aside.
Overall, when you paid almost 400 euros per night you would expect more, and the hotel has not really met my expectations

Beautiful hotel on a great location! We were lucky enough to get a room upgrade so we had a spacious room with a balcony and a spacious bathroom. The staff at the hotel is very accommodating and will handle special (dietary) requests very diligently. I personally loved the pool area. They can be a bit more proactive around the pool to see if you want to order anything (instead of me going to the bar)

Our self-drive holiday in Montenegro came to an end with our stay at a stunning hotel offering top-notch service. The food, facilities, and staff were outstanding, and as a member, we even received an upgrade. The hotel can arrange a day at a nice beach club if you're interested. I absolutely recommend this place.

My (now) husband and I had the pleasure of having our wedding at this incredible hotel a few days ago. We have stayed here many times now, and I can safely say that this is the best hotel we have ever been to.
The staff are wonderful & made our whole extended family who have travelled from all over the world feel at home.
In particular, Sanja, the events manager at the Regent was phenomenal. She was kind, proactive & most importantly, her attention to detail in caring for all of our guests as well as our events was something we were truly grateful for.
We will definitely return back to this wonderful hotel, and thank the Regent again for their world-class hospitality.

Faultless. My stay at the Regent Porto Hotel in Tivat was nothing short of incredible, earning a well-deserved 5/5 rating. The service was exceptional, with staff consistently going the extra mile to ensure a perfect stay. From the moment I arrived, I was treated with the utmost care and attention. We have been to lots of different hotels all over the world and this one is in the top 10. Comfortable bed, amazing view and a really good spa. The concierge team was best in providing all the information we required.
The hotel congratulated us on our 45th Anniversary and presented a wonderful cake in our room. It was very nice of them!
Breakfast at Murano Restaurant in front of the marina, amazing staff special thanks to Jelena and Shivangi for their prompt service, and for remembering our dietary preferences. And food is something that I will never forget. We ll be back sooner. Thank you all.

Amazing stay at my third Regent property. Great diamond elite recognition to be upgraded to an amazing sea view apartment with great views of the marina. Service was also great. Valet parking was super convenient. Breakfast had a small but good selection of various items as well as a supplement ala carte menu. They have the best eggs Benedict :) hope to come back again next year.
