Hotel Libertas

We spent 3 wonderful nights in this hotel during our honeymoon in Montenegro. Very friendly and attentive staff (small gift from the hotel for our wedding). Well located establishment, a few minutes from Kotor, and with private parking. The small beach in front of the hotel is very nice, and the swimming pool even more! Very generous and delicious breakfast. We highly recommend this establishment.

This fantastic small-scale hotel with its beautiful location is perfect! The rooms are amazing, and everything is tidy and clean. The breakfast is delicious and extensive. There is a well-maintained pool with loungers, and across the narrow street, there is a private area with sensational views of the Bay of Kotor.

What struck us the most was how attentive everyone is here and how much attention they pay to detail. Everything is focused on the guests. There is a tranquility here that is respected by everyone. A top-notch hotel, unique in its kind!

Had a lovely 3 night stay at Hotel Libertas. The staff is so kind and helpful, clean rooms, good breakfast. Maya and Natasa were particularly wonderful. We spent lots of time on the water's edge in the lounge chairs enjoying some quiet away from the busyness of old town.

Not much within walking distance and no food options at the hotel aside from breakfast. The hotel is on a narrow street with no sidewalk so a long walk wasn't really an option either. They do have a bar and coffee. It's a 6-10€ cab ride into old town and they are happy to call a cab for you.

Stayed here as part of our honeymoon and had an incredible stay. Location is awesome with a lovely bathing area on the bay and gorgeous pool. Breakfast was great, staff were lovely and restaurants nearby are brilliant. Definitely recommend staying here.

We stayed for two nights between August 14-16. The hotel is simply perfect. The rooms are spotlessly clean, the breakfast is quite sufficient. Ms. Natasha at the reception is very kind and helpful. She helped us with everything. There is a small beach in front of the hotel. Here you can both relax and order your drinks from the bar while enjoying the sun. You can reach the center of Kotor in 7-8 minutes by car, 35-45 minutes on foot, 15 minutes by Bluebus (not frequent). It is a great hotel for those who are tired of the crowds in the old town area and want to relax. Many thanks to the lady who prepared breakfast and the bartender friend. If we come back here again, we will definitely stay here.

The moment we arrived the experience was perfect, everyone on staff is very friendly and helpful especially Nataša who gave us recommendations and advice for our stay. The entire property and room were very clean and very well maintained. Breakfast was delicious too and homemade! We wish we could have stayed longer!

We certainly agree with all the good reviews: excellent staff, luxury and a high level of service in beautiful surroundings. Indeed a very charming little hotel! ☀️⭐️☀️
Three things I wish I had known:
1) Rooms on ground floor are beneath street level. The narrow road is very busy (at least during high season), cars and motorcycles are running by all the time.
I felt like I was sleeping on the road 🙉
2) The road in front of the hotel is the only connecting street on this side of the bay. It’s very narrow, with no sidewalk. You can walk the streets but it’s certainly not a pleasure. If you like to walk your way around, take this into consideration.
3) Due to the position on the bank of the bay, shaded by the mountains, you will get the morning sun but no sun in the afternoon/early evening.
