Hotel Monte Cristo

We were not in the hotel itself, but in the hotel restaurant. A very colorful place, the balcony deserves special attention. And of course a special compliment to the kitchen, many dishes on the menu deserve special praise.

Nice family hotel in a great location! Excellent restaurant and the best service! The rooms were cleaned efficiently and systematically, the atmosphere of the room is reinforced by antique furniture and a view of the old city from the window!

Beautiful hotel in the centre of the old town, exceptional room (8)on the second floor, beautifully furnished, very clean, large comfortable bed, old style elegance with all modern conveniences. Local music went on rather late but we stayed on a Friday night so this was not unusual for a weekend. The restaurant served a fabulous breakfast with friendly attentive staff. The hotel has its own secure parking just outside the city wall a short walk away. They have a buggy to take you there when you check out, we very much appreciated Luka taking us. We look forward to staying here again when we come back to Kotor, so much to see to fit into such a short visit so we have to come back!

We are from Canada. We like pancakes. They have American pancakes on the menu. We thought close enough we tried said pancakes and they were fluffy, but the joy ended there. It wasn’t too bad, but didn’t quite meet our expectations. I will be back for the American pancakes.

Charming hotel in the middle of the old town. I love staying in these old buildings. The entire staff was extremely welcoming and kind, and breakfast in the cute courtyard was a refreshing start to the day. If you have a car, their parking lot is extremely convenient too! The only downside is the jazz cafe right next to the hotel which runs past midnight, so can be stressful.

**Beautiful Boutique Hotel in the Heart of Old Town**

I stayed at this charming boutique hotel in the middle of the old town during the height of summer. The location is perfect, surrounded by various alleyways that often host concerts. The jazz bar next to the hotel has performances on weekends that last until 12:30/1 am. Unfortunately, our room faced the square where the band played, and despite the double-glazed windows, the music was still audible, resulting in a bad night's sleep.

The hotel staff was very understanding and quickly provided solutions. They moved us to one of their nearby apartments in a quieter area called Apartment Leo, which had thick stone walls that provided excellent sound insulation. They also included half-board to compensate for the price difference. The breakfast and dinner at Monte Cristo were good, and the atmosphere was charming and boutique-like.

The staff was super helpful and accommodating, offering great service. If you're a light sleeper and want to rest before 1 am during the summer months, I recommend staying on higher floors at Hotel Monte Cristo or opting for their Apartment Leo.

Awesome hotel, very authentic and cozy in the heart of the beautiful vibrant city. Food at the hotel is delicious from lunch dinner to breakfast. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Melanie the waitress, was very addressing to the clients requests in a highly professional manner. She has an innate hospitality spirit. She is very skilled with heart warming character. Melanie is a role model that we hope to see everywhere in the hospitality field. We felt like we were home. Our best wishes for this lovely hotel along with its great staff to keep up and stay remarkable and memorable for everyone who got to interact with them 🤍🙏🏼

Great charming hotel in the heart of the old town. We had a large room with air condition and very clean. The staff in the hotel are very friendly. Breakfast is superb with lots of choices.

The hotel provides free parking; however, you should contact the hotel and let them know prior to arrival. The coordinates to the parking are different than to the hotel.

A beautiful hotel that is in a perfect position within the old town but just a little away from the main areas so retaining a calm atmosphere. Beautifully appointed, very clean and comfortable, excellent food and the staff are all so helpful and kind with great attention to detail. We stayed here for 6 nights and did lots of walking around the whole area and within the old town.
We felt very content here and would certainly recommend it, the surrounding area is spectacular.

They had a driver available who picked me up from Tivat airport- 25 min ride.
He escorted me from a private lot on foot into the city and right to the welcome desk.
Location of hotel places you in the heart of the city. Amazing view from my window and I was able to take a shot of the courtyard at night.
Comfortable bed, great water pressure with the shower, and AC helpful but evening temps were very pleasant. Breakfast included and took advantage - friendly staff and very accommodating.
Enjoyed the wine bar within walking distance of the hotel and jazz music from the local jazz bar. Highly recommend and would stay again.
