Splendido Hotel Kotor
The view from the room’s tiny window, was breathtaking, and the parking was free…That is ALL the good things I can say about this hotel.

“Splendido” is a very misleading and incorrect name, because Splendid it is NOT!

We were accommodated on the 3rd floor. No elevator in the hotel. No one to help you with your luggage to your room.
The room is much smaller than the pictures. Don't be fooled by the pictures. It's a scam.
Our room was under the roof and look like an attic (half of the room’s ceiling was diagonal and to get to the other side of the bed, you have to bend down, not to bump your head into the ceiling).
We asked the front desk to change our room and they said the hotel is fully booked. The ceiling was dripping.

The hotel design was awful. But maybe this is what expected from a 3stars Hotel?
Breakfast was disgusting. Some of the food was unrecognizable. The only thing I liked was the chocolate cake.
We use the Gym the first morning. Equipment was rusty and outdated. On the second day, when we wanted to use the gym it was available. The front desk representative's explanation was, that they had to turn the gym into a warehouse, due to an event that would soon take place at the hotel…

I will definitely NOT going to get back to this hotel.

Unfortunately, the experience was soured by (Iva) front desk staff. Upon arrival, the receptionist was extremely unwelcoming, and when we had an issue with our checkout, she shouted at us rather than trying to help. This unprofessional behavior was shocking and unacceptable.

In conclusion, while the hotel's location and amenities are fantastic, the poor customer service at the front desk significantly detracted from our overall experience. If management can address this issue, it could be a truly outstanding place to stay.

We stayed in a hotel for 10 days on our honeymoon. Well, the honeymoon has gone sour... Starting with the fact that the hotel rooms are in urgent need of renovation, everything needs updating. Even a nice view from the window doesn't make up for the age of the hotel rooms. The restaurant portions and prices do not correspond to reality, the food is really disappointing... On the 8th day of our stay, they started charging for towels when we arrived at the pool (funny when all the days before we didn't have to pay for towels even though we were staying in the hotel). My husband and I joked that on the last day they would start charging for the sunbeds as well... The last day was the most bitter when we were kicked out of our room because it was booked for someone else even though we had paid for it in advance!!! I understand that there was a mistake at reception, but it's not up to me, why should I have to leave my room, pack all my things and move to another room for one night? Absolutely absurd. In conclusion, we will definitely return to Montenegro, but I will not recommend this hotel to anyone.
