We stopped by this restaurant for lunch after spending a few hours at Forte Rose Beach first. The restaurant has a picturesque location. We were welcomed in a friendly and professional manner and were quickly given a table for four. Sitting in the shade under the large tree, admiring the view while waiting for our food, was something truly special.
The prices at this restaurant are higher than average. However, in return, you get friendlier and better service than elsewhere. The food matches the price and does not disappoint in any way. The dishes were well thought out and exceptionally well executed.
It was an absolute pleasure to have lunch here, and I would say it was the best restaurant experience we had during our week in Montenegro. Highly recommended!

Excellent breakfast. Very fresh and delicious with many choices. Milo’s, our server, was fantastic. He was friendly, very accommodating and provided excellent service with a smile!

We recently visited Forte Rose just to explore the place and have lunch—and it turned out to be such a memorable experience! The location is stunning, full of charm and history, and the atmosphere is both relaxing and elegant.
We were warmly welcomed by Bojan, who truly made our visit special. He took the time to show us around, shared fascinating stories about the history of the place, and made us feel like valued guests from the moment we arrived. His kindness, friendliness, and professionalism were exceptional.
Thanks to Bojan and the wonderful experience we had, we’ve already decided that we’ll be staying at Forte Rose during our next visit to Montenegro. Highly recommended!

Terrible place! I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, the music on the beach gets louder and more terrible every hour! The owners need to understand that it doesn't bring in much money, because 5 people will get drunk and maybe order two drinks, while the rest will leave. People come to Rose for the beautiful water and picturesque seaside town to enjoy.

Forte Rose is a beautifully decorated fortress, with beautiful beaches and views!
The service, the behavior of individual employees, the attitude towards guests... have no common ground with the tourist offer itself.
Would I repeat my vacation in the same place, no, nor would I recommend it to anyone!

Loved the hotel Forte Rose. Beautifully renovated, and located in the picturesque stone Village of Rose. The views across the bay over to Herceg Novi are spectacular. We enjoyed the fine dining at the restaurant, the Sunset views and the early morning swims. The staff was wonderfully kind and efficient.

We visited yesterday,nice location,lovely ambience and very professional service.If you coming with a boat their staff will give you a hand docking.
Food is average at best.If you eat seafood and fish regularly you will know what I'm talking about.Main courses are not too expensive, but 50 euro per bottle of Croatian or Serbian Vine is just a daylight robbery.Good for one visit.

Absolutely amazing view and experience on the water! We loved every second of it. The service is fantastic and the food is exceptional. A taste of Montenegro at its finest.

This is our worst experience in Montenegro, although we have been coming here for over 13 years!
My wife and I were in this restaurant many years ago, before the renovation.
And then everything was great!
Now - a complete disaster!
The service is zero!
The chef seems to have just graduated from culinary school and does not have the proper experience!
My wife cooks much tastier at home!
We ordered Extra category fish, but they did not even bring it to us, did not show it to us and did not weigh it!
As a result, we paid 225 euros (3 kg. × 75) just for the fish, and we waited for it for over an hour, and it turned out to be overdried!
In numerous restaurants where we had been before, every dish was served with a side dish - traditionally it is Dalmatian vareva (potatoes with spinach).
In this restaurant, we paid 30 euros just for the side dish!
In total our bill came to 407 euros!!!
I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone, although the town of Rose itself is very nice)

Great setting as the restaurant is in its own bay within Kotor Bay with views out towards the sea. We were helped tying to a bouy. Later their own Rib collected us on time and dropped us on their jetty. All the staff have been really nice and obviously naturally friendly. My wife had steak and I had Tiger prawn Pasta. Both were excellent. We drank a Croatian wine which was excellent. Prices were the norm for The region. Loved it… will be back again.
