Nice hotel, food expensive onsite

The hotel is new and elegant, and the reception is friendly. The rooms are a bit small. The rooms overlooking the sea are better than the rooms at the back, because the rooms at the back have a river or stream that needs maintenance and have a bad smell. I recommend the rooms overlooking the sea.

Second time here, but this time in a new building. Nice room, excellent soundproofing between rooms. Everything you need (water, tea, coffee capsules, slippers, robes…) is available. We had a room with a view of the bay, quiet and beautiful. The Internet was disconnected a couple of times, but this problem was quickly solved after contacting the reception. Elegant and lovely hotel complex with pleasant and friendly staff! The complex consists of a historical and residential part. There are amazing beach area with a pool, bar, and restaurant. I had such an amazing stay. The staff were wonderful, friendly, professional and helpful. The hotel and the location is stunning. The taxi services were a great addition for the swimmers. It’s my second time this year staying here and it’s one of my favourite. Rooms are very spacious and modern, rooms with marine view are a dream to sit with a coffee on the balcony and enjoy the marine views. Their new beach club is great also, only issue is I wish they would put sand on the beach instead of stones as the stones are not so nice to walk on and become bigger as you walk I to the sea...

We got access for a small pool, not really cleaned with a lot of chemicals smell. The nice pools you see on the website - we have no access to them. It is misleading as you see beautiful pools that you cant use...if we knew it before we would take a room with a pool. The beach is very nice with good service and access.

To be honest, the only reason why I mention this place is because the resort is built on the spot where the navy headquarters once stood and I served there in the marine corps almost 3 decades ago. I have fond memories from that time and some life lasting friendships. I must say that I'm ambivalent about fancy hotels, that means nothing to me.

We had a fantastic experience at Portonovi in June, staying a couple of days in one of their top-quality apartments. The breakfast was fantastic, and the staff were incredibly helpful. The cleanliness was impeccable, ensuring a comfortable and pleasant stay. We can't wait to return!

Great hotel! Definitely recommend. Everything is very presentable and convenient. Breakfast in the restaurant with a sea view. Various delicious dishes. There is a wellness room with massage, shower, jacuzzi. Nice, clean pool. Private beach, sun loungers. The hotel staff does their job well, everyone is very polite. After check-out, you can leave your luggage and stay on the territory, swim.

We stayed here for just one night, which was enough for us. At £80 for the night, we didn’t have high expectations, and overall, it met them. The location is not bad. The rooms are of course a little tired, smelled damp. The breakfasts were not bad at all, buffet and they give you almost everything you might like. The only minus was a HUGE one - paid parking, which as it turned out was paid upon check-out... Huge hotel with promised free parking, but their parking capacity is maybe 80% of the needs, so luck factor is there for finding a lot. Food was great, access to the sea was easy, pools were excellent and clean, but... We got a family room, it was smelling of uncleaned aircondition, daily room cleaning was not guaranteed, the pipe was damaged, so after every shower there was an inner-sea in the bathroom...

The hotel is old, more like 2 stars if we follow Western standards. The beach is not private contrary to what is written. Note 2 beach bars/clubs nearby so if you don't like the noise avoid it because it's there all day and night (impossible to relax at the swimming pool for example and you can hear it from the room too). This Hotel was really nice. For that price service was great. Food was awesome, and different every day . People who work there are friendly and always on service. Clean rooms and hotel. Only thing I didnt like is that my room was without sunlight so it was really cold( even if is outside 30C) And they could work on Wellnes centar to be cleaner. A beautifully located hotel in a location a little bit remote from Herceg Novi. Huge plus points are the team, the cuisine, the views over the bay and the gardens. First trip to Montenegro and stayed in early June for 9 nights and the weather was high 20s - low 30s. Lovely hotel, staff and especially the scenery around the Bay of Kotor. Beautiful hotel with extremely friendly staff and private beach. Only downside is the location, as the rooms are right across a ferry pier and the parking lot of the hotel is 200m away.

We absolutely loved our week at the Perla and would love to go back one day. We have 2 kids (11, 8) and they had a blast. Food is excellent, service and staff are super helpful and make sure you are comfortable. Perfect stay; relaxing and friendly experience. The staff are amazing in their hospitality and going above and beyond to make our stay very special. The hotel is great location for views and accessing range of restaurants along the 2 mile coast via the pet danica walkway. The old town is approx 1.5 mile walk. Lovely little place. Staff very helpful. Superb breakfasts that effectively saved lunch. We stayed for dinner twice and really enjoyed it. We were also very happy they provided an earlier breakfast and lunch they were under no obligation to do when we went to Dubrovnik. Hotel Capitano was the end of our honeymoon, and what a finale. Service was perfect, and it's such a small hotel that you get it alot of the time all by yourself. This place definitely exceeded our expectations. Apartments are super nice and clean, balconies big with nice view. To the beach there is only 3 mins walk, and also there is a private beach for hotel guests. The hotel is very good and the price is very good. The only downside is that the location is not easy to find. At the entrance of the hotel, there is an alley, just turn in. The beach is right in front of the hotel, and the service attitude is very good. The room is big and has its own balcony.
