Eco Hotel Carrubba

Carruba Hotel is an absolute gem. Nestled in a quaint seaside village right on the Adriatic coast, the location is simply stunning — peaceful, quiet, and with panoramic views straight from the room. I only stayed one night as I was flying out of Tivat, but in hindsight, I wish I had booked 2–3 nights to truly soak in the atmosphere. The room I had came with a private terrace overlooking the ocean — a perfect spot to unwind. It’s just a 15-minute walk to Tivat and Porto Montenegro, but honestly, the serene vibe here makes staying put just as rewarding. Having visited other parts of Montenegro including Kotor and Lake Skadar, I can confidently say this was the best place I stayed. The proximity to the airport is a huge plus as well. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a mix of comfort, beauty, and tranquility.

Short break in Tivat, lovely little hotel. only 10-12 rooms. beautiful location, right on the waterfront, small restaurant for breakfast right next door, staff super friendly, room nice, cleaned every day.. bathroom was good. everything clean and worked perfectly. would absolutely recommend

One of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The hotel is beautiful, the terrace views are absolutely stunning, and the private beach area was so great to have access to. The water in the bay isn’t super clean, but that’s not the hotel’s fault! The staff was incredibly attentive from the moment we arrived until after check out (they held our bags for three hours after checking out and allowed us to continue to use the private beach. The concierge also noticed that we were waiting a long time for our taxi outside the hotel and offered to call us another taxi). The restaurant is very good: the shrimp bruschetta was my favorite. We didn’t make a reservation for dinner and it was all booked up BUT we ordered the dinner to our room and enjoyed a sunset dinner on our terrace, which was lovely. The breakfast was delicious and fabulous for being included with the hotel stay. Loved this entire experience and hope to return again some day!

Carubba was exactly as lovely as we have been thought beforehand. The staff were very helpful. The breakfast was special but the portions were hugh! We could have leave the food but it was too good to leave! The room (12) was probably the best! One tiny minus concerns the small area between the sea and sun beds. It could have been cleaned daily.

Yesterday I was in much luck to pass through Carrubba Hotel. Although it was a quick stop for a drink, I was met with a diverse variety of cocktails, being classic or signature. It is clear that the drink was done by a professional, which fueled my enjoyment of the wonderful sights, where hotel is located!

Definitely booking a room there for the next vacation!

Room12 will lovely private balcony was so special. Helpful staff. Nice AC. Breakfast was delicious.

A must stay in Tivat!
We had the absolutely best time at this hotel. Everything was amazing. The air conditioning in the room was perfect, the bed was so comfortable with incredible pillows, and the shower was really spacious. Every room has a view of the water which was breathtaking. The private beach area for hotel guests was lovely and the water was so beautiful for swimming.

We stayed for four nights and dined in the restaurant every evening as the view was stunning and you are seated right on the water! The food was very high quality, highly recommend the beef cheeks and the tuna and my partner loved the octopus. Breakfast every morning was beautiful and I definitely recommend the pancakes.


All of the staff were so accommodating in both the hotel and the restaurant. When they realised it had been my birthday while we stayed, they brought up an amazing bottle of sparkling wine up to the room as a complimentary gift!

They were very helpful in letting us know about a bus to take a day trip to Kotor which helped us save money we would have spent on taxis. They also arranged airport transfers which were an additional cost but huge peace of mind.


We would definitely stay here again and can't recommend it enough!
