Reviews
Every night, loud music from the restaurant played until 3 a.m., making it impossible to sleep or rest. I tried calling reception and sending messages, but there was no response – the noise continued until the early morning hours.
Housekeeping was extremely poor. During our 7-day stay, the trash was never taken out, the floors were not cleaned, and even though we left the light on to request cleaning, nothing was done. Towels were rarely changed, and the new ones we received were dirty. On top of that, the cleaning staff started shouting and talking loudly in the corridors from 8 a.m., right outside the doors, which made it impossible to rest in the mornings.
Breakfast was also disappointing – always the same, very poor quality, with scrambled eggs full of eggshells.
The only positive aspect is the location, which is convenient and close to everything.
Overall, we cannot recommend this hotel. The service, food, and noise levels were unacceptable, especially considering the price we paid.
Shampoo or shower gel was not replenished on time unless we found cleaning staff and asked for.
Staff’s attitude is extremely horrible. The staff speaks very little English or Russian. The only good thing about the hotel is its location in the city center, and that’s it. There was no animation or entertainment. Everything was at a very low level.
The biggest issue is not honoring what they advertise – they claim to offer free parking, yet charge €10 per day. Bed linen is only changed after several calls to reception, and room cleaning is poor and superficial. When extending my stay, I was charged more than the official rate sent by email, and a standard room was billed as a premium room.
The staff are not unfriendly, but they seem poorly informed about hotel procedures and offers.
All compliments go to the variety and quality of the food, as well as the hotel’s excellent location.
Message to management: if you are in the hospitality business, make sure your guests leave satisfied, not disappointed.
-Positives: the rooms (atleast mine was) are clean and look modern, the hotel territory is huge and interesting
-Negatives: 1) i found a live spider and a hairclump in one meal 2) checkout is at 10:00 (no pool, no food, no drinks after this) 3) (A) the hotel does not feel safe, locals walk through the hotel areas, no way to tell who is a guest and who is not. (B) Random groups of locals hang around on the hotel territory, sometimes drinking and shouting loudly (C) The pool area is for guests only, but whether you're a guest or not, only people who dont speak serbian get checked, sometimes it felt like the pool guard just let in a bunch of non-guests. (D) Rules only apply to people who dont speak serbian. Example: It is forbidden to play ball in the pool, somehow only serbian speaking people play ball in the pool.
In conclusion, if you don't speak serbian, you're not wanted at this hotel. Spend your money at another one.
Some more bad things: you can only ask for late checkout the morning of your checkout, for me defeating the purpose of a late checkout. Not one staff member has shown any enthusiasm or good will towards me here. Staff does not speak good english or russian, seems like only serbian. Entertainment is for serbian speaking customers only. The bathroom floor tiles are not angled in the correct way, causing the entire bathroom floor to flood each time you shower. You can not lie down with the poolchairs they have here, only a 45 degree angle. We put out a sign to clean the room, nobody cleaned. We put up 2 signs to not disturb, but someone came in, changed the towels and rearranged the curtains. There is about a 2cm gap under the door to your room, all sounds can be heard both ways. The floor was not clean when we arrived, and today on day 7 it has still not been cleaned. One side of our bed is balanced in the middle, causing a knocking sound to occur every time you change your sleeping position. There are people on mopeds and e-scooters constantly speeding around the hotel territory. The hotel does not have its own beach and the beach nearby is full of trash and pebbles.
The reception was very far away — we had to walk about 10 minutes, which is horrible when it’s 40 degrees outside. On the last day, they promised to come and pick up our luggage so we wouldn’t have to carry everything ourselves, but no one showed up. We ended up having to walk to the reception with all our suitcases and bags. Their attitude is extremely irresponsible.
The food was okay — not great, but tolerable. The staff speaks very little English or Russian. The only good thing about the hotel is its location in the city center, and that’s it. There was no animation or entertainment like in Turkish hotels, everything was at a very low level. I will never stay at this hotel again.
The rooms are very dirty. In 10 days, they never changed our bed linens even once! Walking past the rooms, we saw how the cleaning staff were cleaning rooms with towels that people use in the shower, which probably explains why all the towels are stained! The air conditioner was broken, and we asked them three times to fix it. The pool is a whole other story—grass is growing at the bottom! It's all slippery. For this price, you could rent an apartment in Montenegro, and it would even be cheaper. We don’t recommend this place to anyone!
I cannot recommend this hotel after our horrific stay. Our room was broken into - someone smashed the window and stole all our money. The worst part was the hotel staff's complete lack of concern or assistance.
When we reported the break-in, the management showed zero interest in helping us. They didn't offer to change our room, call the police, or provide any support whatsoever. We had to handle everything ourselves, from filing a police report to to dealing with our broken window.
Only after we started arguing did they reluctantly offer to change our room. Their indifference to a serious security breach on their property was shocking and unacceptable.
The hotel's negligence in security and terrible customer service make this place a risk not worth taking. Stay elsewhere if you value your safety and belongings.
But rooms are old, renovated bathroom. Air-condition are not working properly. Beds are not very comfortable doors are old. No card key. But it's old and I think state hotel. Big area, great concept, near beach, but must invest more.
Food is good. Nothing special but good.
