Great NYE countdown experience from Ascott KL. We could see the KL tower fireworks from pool area. However the KLCC fireworks was slightly obstructed from the pool area. The KLCC fireworks was only visble at the lounge and from the rooms facing the KLCC park.

Room service from WIP in the park was fantastic! Extremely impressed with the food and how the prompt the delivery was despite being on NYE night. (However note that the food price was slightly marked up due to NYE)

Room was also really clean, comfortable and spacious. Overall a great experience!

This property presents itself as luxury, but the reality is deeply disappointing. The building is clearly aging and poorly maintained, the rooftop pool is dirty and visibly deteriorating, and the rooms feel neglected despite their size — with filthy balconies, stained walls and furniture, and worn, grimy carpets. Service is consistently poor: slow, dismissive, and unhelpful. The pricing is completely unjustified and relies on misleading branding rather than quality. For the same cost, the Mandarin next door delivers a genuine luxury experience. I would not recommend staying here.

I love this place and will come back every year, for sure. The proximity to KLCC is so close and so convenient, we walked there a couple of times throughout our stay. The people were really nice and accommodating and the room was generous in size and amenities. Highly recommend!

Room was spacious and well equipped and both pools were amazing, with stunning roof top views. We didn’t eat in the restaurants so can’t comment. Excellent location and fully equipped apartment was a good choice for us. A bit of a miscommunication about the room deposit but this has been resolved.

My family and I stayed here fkr 3 months as part of our relocation package whilst we looked for another place. The Ascott KL was an amazing first experience of living in KLCC. We had a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment on one of the top floors with spacious open plan living and a kitchen. The views were out of this world as we could see the Petronas Towers and KLCC park. Walking distance to Suriya Mall in KLCC so location was spot on for us. The swimming pool was lovely and located on one of the top floors with amazing views and has spa service as well. The kids loved the free marshmallows and cold water at reception and made sure to grab soke fish food from the reception to feed the coy they have outside on location. I would love to stay here again.

Ascott KL is centrally located just a 5 minutes walk from KLCC, super convenient to head back to hotel after the fountain show. I booked through Trip.com but they told me I had to pay the tourism tax but shortly after, refunded me. Was a bit confused the my requirement of doing so but I've left it at that

It's quite surprising and unexpected to find a cockroach in the hotel bedroom. We had to deal with it before going to bed. This was also reported to the hotel the next day.

We are a family of 4 & stayed in a 2 room service apartment for 5 days at the Ascott during our visit. Facilities are akin to a business hotel. The room itself was clean & spacious. Breakfast had a small selection for a buffet but it was good. The stay was to our satisfaction save for the lack of hand & face towels… Overall, I would recommend the Ascott if you are travelling as a family and need a base while in Kuala Lumpur.
