Traders Hotel, Kuala Lumpur

Walking distance to Pavilion and nearby shopping arcades. Free buggy transfer to Twin Towers. Got a suite for 8 days. Spacious. Quiet. Comfortable.

The access to Club Lounge provided a stunning view of the Twin Towers. Food varieties were very limited. It's better to go to the breakfast dining hall instead.

Important points:
- this hotel has the best view of twin tower other than the any hotels around the towers.
- swimming pool is very good for the one who does not want sun shine. Fantastic to have food order and having lunch in the pool side. Great view of twin tower. Water is salt water.
- the park is very nice. You can take a walk in the morning and evening. 4 min to go to Suria mall by foot.
- parking is free in the under ground directly connected to the hotel. Use parking ticket and not the touch and go in order for the hotel to balance your parking ticket.
I definitely recommend this hotel. For the one who doesn’t know this hotel: Traders hotel is not something unknown hotel. It is Shangri-la hotel.

Room furniture is quite dated compared with our last visit 10 years ago, retuning to celebrate our 13th anniversary with our son.

Great view of the twin towers from executive room but air conditioner is very loud at night. Didn't quite like the sound from the TV in the bathroom.

Trying to amend the special request after booking but the page didn't load.

Overall it is an ok experience but if you are here for great view but not if you fancy new, modern setting.

I can’t fault this hotel. Excellent value. The rooms are spacious, up to date with new fittings, clean and neat. Room service meals are inexpensive and arrive quickly plus they are great. The staff are amazing, nothing is too much trouble at anytime of the day or night.

You feel very secure here as the hotel has invested properly in security, it has an excellent, well deserved name to maintain.

The Sky Bar is worth trying out.

Excellent facilities like a Spa, Health Club, Pool, meeting rooms, lounges and multiple dining options. Right next to KLCC park too which is nice for walk.

There were some issues with my room but they sorted everything out very quickly. LOVE the view from my room, you definitely need to get a room with the view of the twin towers. The staff are super friendly and very efficient. However, breakfast was average to say the best, lacks variety and quality. Furniture in the rooms as a bit old but all in all, we loved our stay here!

Maybe I was unlucky, but I was put in a low floor and the view of top of the towers was blocked. Two or three floors higher it would have been way better. Despite that, the room was great, spacious and clean. Bathroom was nice too. The reality is that the hotel is starting to show its age, one can clear notice the old bits and parts that can no longer be cleaned, both in bedroom and bathroom. The location is great, as you can imagine.
The service was great too.
The breakfast was decent, I would NOT pay extra for it though. Unless you get it in a deal, I'd pass. It's not as complete as you would expect in other hotels like Shangri-La, but worse, is that they cannot cope with the number of people there. Some guest pile on certain food, so you are likely to have to battle you way to get things like fruit and dim-sum. Since my main objective was having a room with the view of the towers, mission was 95% accomplished, so all good :)

We stayed for a week in this excellent hotel. The room is tidy, quiet, spacious, comfortable bed and spacious bathroom. The hotel staff is extremely friendly and always ready to help. The location of the hotel could not be better. Abundant breakfast with a lot of variety. For every recommendation

- No Comment. Only Elevator crowded. Should organise the crowds.

Traders is my go-to location when staying in Kuala Lumpur if I'm going to be in city center. It's proximity to the mall and unsurpassed service has brought me back time again. This is my first visit post pandemic and I am glad to see that the hotel is doing well and the area is in recovery .

I must mention again the degree to which the staff make sure that everything is comfortable. They are proactive in problem solving and helpful when there is something that you need the answer to. The spa is excellent and the views are amazing. If you have the ability to access the club level there will be another layer of excellent service and comfort at your disposal.

The staff is very professional and helpful! our stay there was exceptional. Pamela and Oliver was excellent in their service, they have make our stay a enjoyable and comfortable. Thumbs up to all their staff!

The location is fantastic, walkable distance to tourist attraction like KLCC and major shopping mall.

Will definitely stay here again if coming back to KL
