Hotel Ester in Krakow

Absolutely fantastic stay at Hotel Indigo Kraków – Wawel Castle! Stylish, clean, and in a superb location, our room was spacious and comfortable, with an excellent shower. Breakfast was delicious with a great variety, and the spa and gym offered a wonderfully relaxing experience, featuring a sauna, salt room, and relaxation area (a jacuzzi would be a nice bonus!). The bar is excellent, perfect for unwinding, though it closes a bit early. Everything about this hotel exceeded our expectations—highly recommended for anyone visiting Kraków!

What an amazing experience loved Krakow . Hotel was amazing one of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed in. Staff are so helpful and kind (especially Sebastian). Rooms are super food is amazing and central to everything. Will definitely go again!

The hotel, the structure, the staff, the position close to city Center; everything was just perfect for our stay in Krakov. we also enjoyed the sauna and the small salt chamber, breakfast was not so much of choice but really good, and the chef benedict's egg, just perfect - very recommended!

Stunning stay. Best hotel we’ve ever stayed in. Super comfortable bed and pillows. Bedroom was really quiet for a peaceful nights sleep. Powerful and huge shower. Decor in bedroom and around hotel was beautiful. Staff super friendly and well spoken English. Breakfast was LOVELY with a huge selection of continental options, Polish options and hot food menu. Additionally there were mini hot foods you could grab if didn’t want to order and wait to have freshly cooked. Excellent location to Wawel Castle and main square - all walkable. Would love to return.

My wife and I travel all over the world and always stay in IHG properties. The service from this “Indigo” was excellent from the beginning to end. We felt welcomed and our loyalty to the brand was recognized. Sebastian at the front desk was informative and was very cordial. The new restaurant on site is fabulous as well! This is now one of our favorite destinations. A+++++

I stayed two nights on points as a Diamond Elite member. The room was upgraded to a Premium Sofa Bed and it was a marvellous, well appointed room with a high ceiling and lovely furnishings. The whole hotel has a beautiful elegant design with a spa in the basement, which sadly we had no time to use. Everything is absolutely brand new! Staff were friendly and I really enjoyed the location, very close to the Jewish district and Wawel Castle and really not far to the Rynek or Old Town Square. Everything was easily walkable and taxis can drop off and pick up from the street behind the hotel and there is an entrance. There were a couple of service failures, which I expected for a hotel which has only been open for a few weeks. However, nothing was done to address them and this was slightly disappointing. 1) I took the Free Breakfast as my welcome amenity but on the first morning we were told breakfast was not included and it clearly had not been added to the manifest. 2) The room was not made up upon our return to the hotel in the afternoon, despite there being very few guests at the hotel and despite leaving the ‘cleaning’ sign switched on. 3) The elevator was out of action on our final day which meant having to go up and down stairs and carry bags. We did really enjoy our stay, loved the room upgrade, breakfast was nothing special, cereal, bread and menu where you can select only one item so if you want eggs then you cannot have anything in additional. There were no hot plates with bacon or potatoes or anything extra which was a bit disappointing. The restaurant though itself was very nicely designed and I would happily return to the hotel again at the right price point given its location and beautiful design.

This is a brand new hotel which has only just opened. We found the position excellent, within an easy 15 minute stroll of the Main Square, and just around the corner from the Jewish Quarter. The staff at the hotel could not have been more helpful, nothing was too much trouble. We were made to feel welcome. Our room was well appointed and being new, everything worked perfectly. The shower was outstanding. Stay here without hesitation, the Hotel Indigo Wawel Castle will look after you

A new highlight in Krakow, we were super excited to stay at this brand new Hotel Indigo Krakow - Wawel Castle, especially whilst celebrating our special Sliver Wedding Anniversary. This boutique hotel could not be more better situated, in an excellent bustling Neighbourhood, walking distance to an array of cafes, restaurants, bars and all the top tourist attractions. So beautiful and well constructed out of quality materials with great attention to detail throughout. A stunning and well-designed fireplace in the reception created a lovely focal point and an inviting space that felt both luxurious and cosy. As an IHG Diamond Member I felt very welcome, and the check-in was great and staff were super friendly. The room was ultra plush with a rich classy decor, hard wood floor, tall high ceilings, well equipped room, appreciated the coffee pod machine and the good AC and WiFi. Large firm bed with fine linens and nice plump pillows. Plenty of lighting options, included a glamorous oversized ceiling light. The bathroom was lavish, with a fabulous walk-in shower, lovely large bottled sustainable toiletries, and nice towels. Although found it strange no toilet roll holder in the bathroom, for hygiene and convenience need to fix one . The room was spotlessly clean, and generally very comfortable. The flat screen TV worked well but for us a limited choice of English speaking channels would definitely benefit from a Chrome-cast / stream feature on the TV. Breakfast was extended as our welcome amenity, the restaurant was gorgeous, but unfortunately breakfast experience wasn't fantastic, just enough on offer and average quality, a light selection buffet style of continental cold breakfast items and à la carte dishes to order, but we felt it did not fully meet expectations, however the coffee was good and the juices also. What really stood out was the quality of the service it was extremely professional, warm and very accommodating, making sure that our stay was enjoyable. Everyone we encountered was extremely friendly and genuinely caring.

Good to excellent location for exploring Krakow's old town and Jewish district. Small and cozy, but a bit dark. Poor wifi signal in our room. Beds were quite/too hard. Nice bathroom with a tub. Didn't try the breakfast as there are plenty of cheap and good cafés and diners all around.

A great budget variant, the most that is not the center of Kazimierz.
