Hotels on first line in Ban Lamai

Good location, on the seashore. Lots of cafes nearby. Overall, I liked everything. But the hotel is a bit tired. The rooms are dark. The plumbing is leaking, they couldn't fix it, they put towels.

Really enjoyed my 2 weeks here, the location on the beach is fantastic and great swimming pools too. There is an adequate gym that's clean, with air con and fresh towels

We came in the rainy season but honestly it just added to the aesthetic of the place. Beach is awesome and has a tonne of free amenities. We are already planning our return trip!

The restaurant is within walking distance. Lamai Beach begins with it, so to speak. There are no large hotels nearby. The water in the sea is clean, transparent and warm

A good hotel is located next to the landmark - the Grandfather and Grandmother stones. A little away from the main streets, but still comfortable enough for families with children. We took a room closer to the pool

When it is ready, they will bring it to the table and no stupid queues. The beach can be called private, sun loungers with mattresses, umbrellas in decent condition for Thailand

The pools look clean and tidy. The strange thing is that my eyes burn a lot if I open them under water. Do they put too much chlorine to the pool water? Wasn't it like that in the sea. The beach is near and is nice

So far one of the best hotels we stayed in Thailand. Staff is very nice, breakfast is great, 2 giant pools, close to the beach and everything else. I do recommend.

A little out of the main area of Lamai, but still good accommodation, the staff are all very welcoming and friendly, special mention to the pool bar staff, who were wonderful to us during our stay, making sure we were always had cold drinks on hand

Their is also a gym and a beach side massage area, which is very good. The food is not of the best quality for a 4 star hotel, but if you don't mind quick poolside snacks then this is fine

The street next to the hotel is very loud, breakfast is great, Lunch not very good. Gym is small, pool only available between 7 and 7. Rest is great. AC in good condition, rooms are clean, bed and bathroom are great

The hotel is located 2km south of Lamai beach, in quite a secluded bay

Great experience. Stayed here for the Koh Samui marathon. Staff was very hospitable and airport shuttle was included.

Everything worked fine including the Aircon which had a very useful quiet setting for overnight cooling. The cleaning staff were lovely and very efficient

The location of the hotel is so cool that the administration doesn't have to worry about the rest, there will be clients. The deluxe room has its own terrace, next to it is a private area with sun loungers

I stayed in the sea front bungalow which had its own sun loungers and a terrace with chairs and table a few steps from the sea. It is situated on a really nice and really clean beach, great for swimming or walking

Huge window overlooking the beach, you feel like on the beach even when inside the room :) Make sure you book the "sea view bungalow" as the other rooms and bungalows are across the road and there are no sun beds on the beach, only the bar/restaurant seating areas

Beautiful, quiet bungalow complex with a restaurant right on the beach and a small pool. We had the cheapest room category. The rooms are functionally furnished and clean. Unfortunately, we had poor WiFi reception

The beach is just so amazing and beautiful, the restaurant over-looks the beach and has many lounges and bean bags to relax in. Food and drink was nice and well presented, staff were attentive and helpful

2nd stay here and remains top class. Booked a larger room but was on 3rd floor, couldn't smoke on balcony, no elevator and not as good bathroom and they were happy to accommodate my switch request

Thai House beach is right on the beach and located on a very convenience Town, where you can walking to restaurants. Coffee shops and laundry mat.

Hotel at the end of Lamai Beach, great staff, met manager Myu upon check-in - gave a tour of the hotel, told us everything Breakfasts are excellent Mid-June - the hotel was not quite full, very comfortable, as if you were alone Large terraces with a jacuzzi and two places on the sides with mattresses-pillows - great to lie down, listen to the birds☺️

Great location and easily walkable to lamai market or to nearby cafes and shops. The live band from lamai market can be heard from the rooms so if you are a light sleeper this may be a problem

The floor manager goes around to check on guests during morning breakfast and we appreciated this gesture. The AC in our room was leaking and she immediately sent someone to check on it

The hallway resort lights were also too dim making it a little dangerous at night as there were many steep steps and curbs. For the accessibility and staff i would stay here again

It never got fixed as it kept leaking every night again but it was ok and we werent very bothered by it. The mattresses need a change asap as the depressions were too obvious

The room is a single unit, quiet and peaceful, but the room looks a bit old. The good thing is that you are in the middle of nature, very quiet. The sea and beach view are good

This is the best resort I have stayed so far, the staffs here are all polite and super friendly, of course not to skip my room with private pool, the view is superb! We can see sunrise directly from the room too

We stayed in a huge beautiful villa with a stunning view. The hotel has its own beach with various activities. The service at the hotel is amazing. The breakfast is full of variety and champagne is served

Cute bungalows situated right on the beach of white sand, cool and clean room and spacious bathroom, the fabulous pool is perfect for dipping any time of the day, all of the staff members are so kind and always smiling, and best of all, this place is totally pet-friendly! Amazing hotel! The room was so big, beautiful design. The pool area is fun, lots of place to hang, took kayaks for free and enjoyed the view. 20 min walk (with kids!) to the night market in Lamai

The drinks and food was very expensive and of poor quality. You were not even allowed to bring your own bottle of water to the poolbeds. Our nanny was treated really unkind by the staff of the kids club

The chef was a real friendly guy though. The swimmingpool area is nice, also for young children, but the restaurant and toilets over there were not clean or luxe at all

Was difficult to get a good mix. Room was very clean except a few corners We received a Welcome drink as well as they accomodated us for both an early check-in as well as a late check-out

We also enjoyed a cooking class in the hotel as part of the deal we bought and we super liked it! Also the kids club is great, the gaming room and the free cocktails happy hour. It was so hard leaving this hotel…

Great resort! Loved our pool villa. A bit away from restaurants and bars but if you don’t care about that it is fantastic! The restaurant is really good! Fresh food particularly good for vegetarians! Highly recommend!

My husband and I had a private wedding ceremony here in March, and everything was even better than we could have imagined! Ant was wonderful to work with and coordinated everything from the ceremony details, the officiant meeting, a private dinner on the beach, and a honeymoon breakfast for us

The perfect hotel, with great value for money and unbeatable views. There is a large stream and lake for snorkeling, and you can go sea catching at low tide. The hotel service is 5-star, not sloppy!

Location: short walk to lots of bars/restaurants but just out of the way so you cant hear any noise. 30 seconds to the beach but be aware there are those annoying Europeans who leave towels on chairs but hardly use them

Location perfect 2 minutes to the beach, rooms a bit dated, quiet despite the proximity to Bangla, breakfast well there is the same thing every day, we will be back

The location is really nice, as it's right on the beach. The room is basic but good size. Unless you stay in the bungalows, noise from bars on street can be heard till really late (after 3 am).

Central area with practically everything around, if you don't sleep well with music this is not your hotel but if you like to party this is your hotel since you are surrounded by partying at night on the beach side and on the central street side, the hotel is located right on the beach depending on the room you choose the middle area would be best

I’m giving 4 stars based on a few key factors. I booked a 3-night stay in a beachfront room with a private pool, expecting a relaxing experience

We had three nights at the Pavilion and it was awesome. I upgraded to the room with its own pool as I had read not so great reviews about the plunge pool rooms. This was the best thing I could have done

Highly recommend this hotel at Lamai beach as the location in Lamai was perfect - right next door to the night markets but also the beach out the front is clean and nice sand

The bed was comfortable, it was great having our own proper swimming pool as we did look at the plunge pool and it was literally just that - knee deep water

However, everything changed once Terry got involved. He addressed our concerns with genuine care and professionalism and even upgraded us to a beautiful Hydro Pool Villa
