On 1 April 2025, Beca (Thailand) Co., Ltd., as a structural engineer and Engineer of Record for the Amara Bangkok Hotel, conducted an inspection of the Amara Bangkok Building on Surawong Road. This inspection was requested by Amara Bangkok Hotel to undertake a rapid post-earthquake structural damage assessment following the earthquake on 28 March 2D25 that impacted Bangkok.
BackgroundImpact of Earthquake on Structural Capacity
The inspection was conducted of readily viewable structural elements only, with the focus on main structural members as well as structural components in parts of the building expected to experience earthquake forces based on structural analysis and design.
Based on the results of our inspection after the earthquake of 28 March 2025, it is our opinion that the property has not sustained any visible structural damage that would diminish its structural capacity. This means that the building appears to be in an unchanged structural condition compared with before the earthquake.

Room is not clean , many dust, there are also hair on the toilet seat.
room daily house keeper won’t tidy your thing and throw the trash , Only when your last stay night,they help to tidy all your belongs for tips.
Location: nearby got not many restaurants and next to a We ep shop, about 50m distance is a street that full of pink boy.
Not recommended and not worth the price.

Not enough towels I was using the same ones for 3 days. Wouldn’t go back despite it being modern and nice. The best part was the 7 eleven close by

Love the ambiance inside the hotel, Very clean
The hotel's location is excellent; you can easily reach many places on foot, and for farther destinations, the BTS station is just a 5-minute walk away.
The breakfast was perfect, offering great variety and delicious options.
The food at the hotel restaurant was equally delicious, and I would definitely recommend trying it.
The rooftop bar with the pool had a stunning view. Watching Bangkok from such a pleasant setting was an unforgettable experience.
All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I sincerely thank them all for their hard work.
I would especially like to thank Ms. Cream, who assisted me during both check-in and check-out. She truly loves her job and spreads positive energy to everyone around her.
