Shoutout to Noon 🥰

The breakfast is fantastic. Really good spread and a highlight. The lobby is clean and slick.
The staff are a mixed bag to be honest but generally professional.
The lifts work really slowly and sometimes don’t react at all. More lifts and better lifts are required.
The big problem with the hotel is that it feels absolutely like a top class 1990s hotel that was never updated. The technology would have been flash in the 90s but today feels extremely dated and a bit embarrassing. The rooms have that dated technology feel to it.
We were upgraded to a smoking room in the club area as room wasn’t ready at 5pm!! Fine we said until we entered the room and it really smelled terrible. We were moved again to a non smoking room but with two singles rather than the double we booked but in the club area so had perks. So we went to the club lounge to get our complimentary cocktails. We were told to wait whilst they phoned reception and then we were told we couldn’t have the drinks as we were upgraded….seriously?! That’s just ridiculous and embarrassing rules for a large hotel like this. Really poor customer service.
Hotel needs updating and if you don’t care for the rooftop bar and pool, I’d have to say you’re much better off staying somewhere more modern for the price you’re paying.
One of the greatest advantages of the Amara Bangkok hotel is its excellent location in the city center. Thanks to this, you can easily reach the greatest attractions of Bangkok, which is a great convenience for people who want to explore the secrets of this fascinating city. The proximity of the most important tourist and commercial points makes the hotel an ideal base for exploration.
The room I had the pleasure of occupying on the 23rd floor offered a breathtaking view of the city skyline. This is undoubtedly an element that significantly improves the standard of the stay, enabling guests to admire the city from a completely different perspective, especially in the evenings, when Bangkok is illuminated by thousands of lights.
What is particularly worth emphasizing is the unique experience offered by the bathtub located in the bathroom by the window. Taking a bath with a view of the city is an unusual pleasure that adds charm to the entire stay and allows you to relax in an extremely picturesque environment.
You cannot also miss the swimming pool on the hotel's roof, which is a perfect place to relax and unwind. The swimming pool provides not only refreshment on hot days, but also the opportunity to admire the panorama of Bangkok from above, which is an unforgettable experience.
To sum up, the Amara Bangkok hotel is a place that is definitely worth recommending to anyone planning a visit to the capital of Thailand. The excellent location, exceptional standard of service, comfortable rooms with beautiful views and additional amenities, such as a bathtub with a view and a rooftop swimming pool, make staying at this hotel a real pleasure.
The rooms (and specially the bathroom) are in need of renovation. The pool is pretty small but enough for a quick cooling. Also it was very disappointing to have dirty sheets…
