Watana Hotel
Bangkok, 209 Ratchadapisek Soi 17, Ratchadapisek, Dindang 🧭 Map
Booked this room on behalf of my friend. He is comfortable with the stay at watana hotel.he commented that the room is clean n spacious. They enjoy their stay.
Stayed for 3 nights at the hotel. The overall was satisfactory for the rate. Traveled solo for a personal trip. The location is not ideal for family or business trips. The hotel is right next to two big "entertainment complexes" - Poseidon and Lalisa. The closest MRT subway station is 10 mins walk away. Not an ideal location to stay for family trips or business trips. Cleanliness is average. Despite...
staffs are kind but not really good at english. but they will get you what you want. no worry.
It’s my second time staying here and I really like this hotel. Restaurant inside, everything clean, stuff is friendly But the biggest plus is this view!!! I wanna come back just for it and I will do it later
Good location Reasonable price Consideration Share service or area need maintenance. The smell is not clean Swimming pool open too late. Open at 9am. Old architecture, old design. All electricity appliances need some maintenance
Nice place to stay. Near to Sutthisan MRT station. Self-service. Other amenities available but No toothbrush or toothpaste given. Nice restaurant with good taste on ground floor. Food in Room service also available. Swimming pool available.

the hotel is old, but clean. the bed is comfortable and clean. there are towels, soap, refrigerator, air conditioner, hot water, elevator. the room is cleaned daily. near 7 eleven. the location is a bit difficult for pedestrians, but if you get there by bike or taxi, it's very easy. there is a minus: the hotel does not have wi-fi. you must leave a deposit. you can also pay online when booking...
One of the best serviced apartment I stayed in Bangkok. All possible facilities, cafe, gym, laundry, cleaning service etc
Clean and cheap rooms. Good if you in BKK for the night life.
Quite old but fair price and good service. Friendly and helpful staff. A bit hard to find and far from public transport
"The Boom" what they call, used to live there for a year. Cheap accommodation near central Bangkok. Daily, Monthly rental. Tight and affordable apartment with AC.
Nice place very strategic place! Near to the BTS and MRT station, 7Eleven and so on the best thing here is the canteen! so delicious!

Very nice hotel! Mel is very lovely and accommodating 💜 Thank you for making our stay enjoyable 💕
very cozy, quiet hotel. price/quality ratio is normal. rooms are a bit "tired" but the overall impression is not spoiled. the view from the windows is very beautiful, friendly staff, there are many sockets in the room and a normal air conditioner. a little lacking is a refrigerator and a kettle, or at least a basic set of dishes in the room, like glasses. located very conveniently next to the pier...
Stayed here for 2 nights. The landlady was very nice and helped throughout the trip. The location is great, all the transport and stores are near!
Lovely staff always willing to help. Took great care of me when I had food poisoning and was stuck in my room for 2 days. Gave my friends great advice on local area and where to go for transport.
Very nice owners. Feeling like a home. Close to fresh fruit market. And very close to taxi boat to go easily and cheaply to both new and old Town.
The location is very convenient, the water pressure is very good and the rooms are quite spacious.

Customer service and location top-notch! Really delighted of the cheerful way I was taken care of. I had some problems with my luggage (caused by me) and the staff was so very helpful in solving them. As a novice to Bangkok I was very positively surprised of how close everything was: Bobae shopping tower, Wat Saket Ratchawora, and Mahanak market focused on fresh fruits right around the corner. Then...
Lovely, quiet, comfortable place, clean , spacious room. Very homely. Excellent place to stay
I give 5 stars for the value you get for the price. I stayed 4 nights at smile inn, which I greatly recommend for backpackers or travellers who want to travel on budget. Rooms are nice and clean, equipped with A/C, private bathroom and toilet. Nothing special but if you want some privacy and rest alone, it’s perfect option. If you’re sensitive sleeper, I recommend getting pair of earplugs. Depending...
Amazing value for the price. Single rooms are perfectly set up for a solo traveler looking for something that’s a step up from a hostel. Bed is comfortable enough and each room is air conditioned. Would recommend!
Good value for money! The rooms are spacious for what you pay. Cool & trendy style. There's a hangout area where you can meet people too. Clean rooms and good location, but in a more quiet area. I had a single economy room that was facing the river. The receptionists seem a little "off" only, and wasn't always that easy to communicate with. Recommended for the price you pay.
Small room, well priced. Not a lot of decorations inside. No TV. Communal TV in lounge out of order. Staff are friendly. Showers and toilet area in rooms need a deep clean.

So far stayed 1 day and night. Nice room. Except 2 water bottles all other commodities are buy to use. I like the room, it's very nice. Also 7/11 is close and also staff tries to help as much they can though their English is medium good.
Budget hotel. This is basically Vabua Asotel which is nearby just the name and building is different. I can say this is kind of serviced apartment whereas Vabua renovated and have a hotel look. Nothing much wrong here as anyone shouldn’t expect much with low budget but TV and WiFi are disgusting. Well, actually they don’t have to keep it. Things were reasonable and acceptable.
Really much better than other reviews. Clean and well-managed with reasonable prices. - By Siam Innoventure Drive for Siam Innovation District -
I was very upset because the front desk personnels not so good i ask help to print out my visa only one page but they say "NO" i walked around just to find a computer shop but none ! Until one front desk named URAIPORN SRISOOK entertained my request and granted me with a print out of my visa i really thank her for undrestanding.I hope all front desk personnels have an attitude like MS SRISOOK
Shares the reception together with another hotel. This one is supposed to have better rooms. The rooms are newer, but I didn't feel the comfort of cheaper rooms. Free WiFi, but slow, only 2MB and with annoying login that only allows one device.

Excellent location. Good room and service.
Location is easy to access tourist attraction around Bangkok. Room rate is reasonable, cleanliness is acceptable. Staff are not so friendly.
Not too bad to stay for a night or two. Near the city hall; 10 min walking to walking street. Had a single room for €8 a night. Laundry is quick and cheap. No breakfast, free coffee (instant). But a coffee house beside. Simply okay
Very good massage! Friendly and cheap! What else do you want!?
Very cheap clean hotel very comfortable and friendly staff
For the price, this hotel is not that bad. But don't expect much from it. What you get: A bed, a tv, a/c, a fridge, and bathroom What is not included: You have to pay extra per person. There is no safe to store your items. Pros: It's within walkable distance to KSR. Air conditioning Cons: The bathrooms need work. Very nice place, easy excess to old city, Sunday market and many restaurants and cafe around the hotel. Place feel like a home
Clean, small rooms. Just a minute or two walk from Khaosan Road and airport shuttle bus station. Staff is able to answer small questions. Been here several times.
Nice small room. Noise from outside partying and music
Excellent location for convenience and surprisingly quiet despite the proximity to Kao San road. Very easy to get to either airport in BKK with bus shuttle services just a few hundred metres away. The room was good value for money, clean and hygienic with fresh towels and bedding offered daily. TV lacks all the sports channels however.
Located very close to the Khaosan Road. Just cross the road and get to a convenience store. Good location. Affordable cleanliness inside the room.

The stay was very comfortable. It is near great tourist spots, bars, clubs, and BTS stations. Can't wait to book another trip to Bangkok and stay in this hotel.
Hotel is good location in the city and near to Bangkok Christian Hospital, only 3 mins walk away. Receptionist can speak English and it’s easy for communication. They have car or taxi for transportation and travel some places such as airport. The taxi fee is acceptable. It’s already included High way fee. Comparing to traffic jam. The hotel is great but just noisy during the night. If you like to party until all night this hotel is for you.
The location is great if you’re into nightlife , it’s right in the middle of the action with easy access to bars and clubs. However, if you’re looking for a quiet and relaxing stay, this might not be the best choice. The noise from at least four nearby bars can be clearly heard from the room, especially the music that plays late into the night. Not ideal for light sleepers or those wanting a peaceful...
Comfortable and clean. Of course due to the street is located it’s not silent at all during the night. I recommend it!
Nice place, location night market nearly
I been staying in Khaosan palace for many years in the past. It's a bit loud at night but the view from the pool makes up for that. The staff is nice and the location is so good for partying but not the best to get a good night sleep in some of the rooms facing the street. I definitely will be back depending on what I want on my trip. Party or sleep.

Superb restaurant. Pizza is excellent, also a wide range of Lebanese and Thai food (try the red and green curries). Cocktails! Best of all it is very reasonably priced. Easily one of my favourite places in Bangkok for a relaxed dinner then a few drinks
I’d give 2 stars because the place really is an hostel and it’s slightly misleading to be called Hotel. However, if you are looking for an hostel here are my thoughts. As any hostel the quality is limited, mattresses are either too hard or uncomfortable. There’s no lift which makes it a bit of a hike to get to the 4th floor with backpacks. The location I guess can be considered great from some...
Have stayed here several times whilst transiting through Bangkok. A mix of dorms and private rooms - whilst simple they had comfortable beds and were exceptionally clean. Would 100% recommend. *did not eat at the restaurant so cannot comment...
Front desk staff was very nice. I booked a single room with a fan and shared bath for 2 weeks. In the middle of everything. Perfect location. We took a room without a bathroom in the room. Was still prefect for us because we were only there at night. No parking spots if you rent a scooter. Reception there 24/7. Super nice. Were able to store luggage. Welcome drinks were very thoughtful.

Food is so delicious here. Tried the Kway Teow Gua Gai (stir fried flat noodle wth chicken /pork shrimp) and Big prawn pad thai, prawn cakes and the coffee and match latte. Better than some of the famous street stalls I’ve tried before. Super friendly...
The staff was fantastic- the food unremarkable. I would completely recommend this place as a great hostel, but as a restaurant- choy-choy (so-so). At 50% off via eatigo app, it was a good deal. Amazing place.. Very clean beds, good food, very friendly staff, Hassle free, flexible check-in.
Decorating the first lounge with old classics fashion of the clock, the book shelf. We ordered breaky for three and it’s so Thai food. We liked it very much. The room upstairs is brand new and clean with private and dormitory too. It’s good for multi travelers to choose. The place is closed to centre which big Icon Siam, Takashimaya... we enjoyed it!

good located, but ive never stayed in the place where im not able to get any drinking water, or hot water
good but i only stayed a night. the location is not the best. i liked more the hostels near khao san road
A comfortable and convenient location. There is a seven eleven nearby everywhere and it is easy to get to the park within walking distance. There is a gel and shampoo in the shower. There is air conditioning in the room and a special light separate for each bed. There is a karaoke bar downstairs and you can also have a drink
The lady boy staff is bad manner. He is bad action. He use the bad word to the costumer about the time for check-in and check-out. I thing he is not appropriate to work in any service related work.

Middle of the road. Rooms with an exterior window are loud at night from the Khosan Rd party scene. Not that clean but not horrible. You get air con and it's secure, centrally located, but there are superior options in the neighborhood for not much more
It's a roof over your head and a bed to take your new friend from Khao San to. If that's what you're into this is for you. Not much else. Has all the basics. There are way better hostels for the same price if not less in Bangkok buuuut there not 5 min walk from Khao San. Depends how you're feeling.
Quiet place, fair (but not cheap) prices. Super close to Khao San street. Clean and the staff is nice.
The hotel makes a great good impression, but than you start understanding that the place is old and not really well maintained: the elevator barely working, the rooms are basic and the beds are not comfortable. No breakfast included. They charge you for everything you'r doing wrong, so it's like walking on eggshells. Otherwise it is OK. Nothing more.
