Service: Horrible place to stay. To all travelers coming to Bangkok, especially ladies!!! please don’t stay here!

I have just checked in at about 1430hrs. Got in to my room, unpacked my bags and was getting changed when a male staff swipe my room door and came in to my room. Mind you, I am a woman.. and the fact that random male staff walking in to my room (didn’t even knocked on the door) I just felt very unsafe. And where the hell is my dignity? I got dressed and went out, confronted the male staff who was at the corridor. He said sorry. This was good.

Then I went to the front reception around 1530hrs. Gave details of the happening to a person looking like manager. Initially, she didn’t apologize and instead said I should have placed ‘do not disturb sign’. And added on saying a staff can go around offering tea or coffee so they can sometimes open the doors.

I extremely angry and the response so I questioned that manager,
So are your staff allowed to just walk in to vacant rooms without even knocking?
So are you implying that while we are asleep at night, your staff can walk in to my room?
So are you saying that it is okay for your staff members to come in to my room just half an hour after my check in time?

She then apologized. I felt like she just said sorry and didn’t mean it

How hard was it to apologies and give reassurance that they will be more mindful about it. Absolutely leaving this hotel tomorrow.

STAY AWAY !!! AVOID THIS HOTEL ENTIRELY - During my stay from December 30th to January 1st, your staff displayed shocking unprofessionalism and outright dishonesty, ruining my experience.
On December 31st, your concierge quoted an extortionate fare of 3,000-4,000 THB for a taxi to Icon Siam. I secured my own taxi for 500 THB, but one of your waiters deliberately interfered despite my clear instructions not to. He misled the taxi driver, causing him to cancel, and sabotaged my arrangements. WHO IS HE ???!!!
When I reported this outrageous behavior to the front desk, they did nothing to address it. This is unacceptable. Your staff’s actions are not just unprofessional—they are UNETHICAL, DISGUSTING AND DECEITFUL. Your hotel’s behavior is a disgrace to Bangkok.

I had high expectations for Bangkok Midtown Hotel, but my experience was deeply disappointing. From the moment I checked in, it felt as though the staff lacked any genuine care for their guests.

The room itself was in unacceptable condition. The bathtub had stagnant water, the hairdryer was dirty with visible stains, and there was only one towel provided. When I requested additional towels, it took three attempts before I received any, and even then, they were old and unclean.

The staff’s attitude was even more concerning. Front desk personnel avoided eye contact and seemed disinterested in assisting. When I asked questions, some went unanswered, leaving me feeling ignored. A staff member guiding me to my room stopped multiple times to handle personal matters, showing a complete lack of professionalism.

Adding to the frustration, I was placed in a corner room with a view of rundown buildings, which was far from the premium experience I expected for the price I paid. Despite raising these issues with the management, no one took action or even acknowledged my complaints.

What disappointed me most wasn’t just the poor facilities or the unprofessional service—it was the lack of warmth or hospitality. Hotels should make their guests feel welcome and valued, but here, I felt neglected and disregarded.

I hope the hotel and the Baiyoke Group take these concerns seriously to improve their services and retrain their staff. Until then, I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a pleasant and professional stay in Bangkok.

Unfortunately, my experience at this hotel was disappointing for several reasons:

Lack of Soundproofing: The rooms were poorly soundproofed, and it was easy to hear noises from neighboring rooms, which disrupted sleep and comfort.
Service: The service was below expectations. Staff seemed uninterested in addressing guests' needs, and there was no sense of exceptional hospitality.
Safe Issue: The safe in the room was not working, which was inconvenient as there was no secure place to store valuables.
Unprofessional Behavior: When delivering our luggage to the room, the staff member turned on the TV and started watching the news with us, which was unprofessional and inappropriate.

Honestly, I would not recommend staying here if you're looking for a comfortable and high-quality experience.

I stayed for 4 night at this hotel and I would say I had a good stay here. The design of the hotel from the outside looks really nice and aesthetic. The room is very decent for the price and the staff are polite as well. I was slightly hesitant at first since I read many negative reviews, but my experience here was good. They have two 7E shops in front of the hotel too! The distance from the hotel to the center of the city is around 1-2 km away. Though its quite a distant, we enjoyed walking to the place we want to and we did everyday. The surrounding of the hotel is also not noisy and since its located a bit distant from city center. It took around 20 mins walk. Overall we have a lovely stay here. Thank you

Amazing place. Been going for months. There gloves are great, their wraps are great, and their classes are even better. They alway know how to get my blood pumping and my body moving. It’s great for all levels and I recommend it to all my friends. The kickboxing is my favorite out of the offerings. Instructors are informative but not coddling. The workouts are hard and challenging.

A fine value for money. The room isn't well lighted. Parking spaces are tight.

Friendly/helpful staff. Clean, large room. Very convenient for doing business in that general area and especially convenient to Ramathibodi Hospital.

Great street food almost right outside the hotel in both directions

This is our 2nd stay and both times we were totally happy with everything. Very good value

Value for money hotel. Excellent maintenance. Rooms are little bit small but are super clean. Bathrooms are good. Breakfast is tasty.
