Huge construction talking place as of writing this review. Initially our rental van got lost and couldn’t figure out how to get there because google maps got confused with the all the work going around.

The hotel is in a solid spot near a lot of popular tourist destinations and good eateries.

The staff are solid and very helpful.

I’d actually book this spot again given how convenient it was for the price.

We had a truly wonderful experience staying at the Hotel De Bangkok! The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, providing everything we needed for a relaxing visit. The location was also perfect — close to major attractions, restaurants, and shopping areas.

What truly made our stay special was the staff. Every team member was friendly, professional, and always ready to help with a smile. From check-in to check-out, the service was outstanding and made us feel genuinely welcome. Breakfast — absolutely delicious!

A big thank you to the entire team for making our stay so enjoyable. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Bangkok and would definitely love to return!

Plenty of things weren't ideal during our trip, particularly the heavy roadwork right outside the hotel that went on till midnight. However, it still gets and deserves a 5 star review for the quality of staff and efforts to provide the best amenities within this price range.

I also appreciated them not taking a security deposit, which is easily warranted across Thailand.

Breakfast is another high point here as everything is fresh and has a decent amount of variety.

One area you have to commend the management for is staffing accurately as there is a good ratio of staff to customers. Always makes a difference in terms of good and great service.

Small area of improvement would be them being responsive to booking queries online as it helps the customer travel with full knowledge. But it's a minor matter and we will look to come back here on our next visit.

We had a wonderful stay. I can call this a 5 star experience. We had been on 5 star hotels all over asia and I assure you. This is a high class hotel. Great staff and front desk. Food is amazing as well. Easy access to places and very good balcony. Also there is a bathtub if you like that.

My stay at De Lux Bangkok Hotel was generally acceptable, but there were some issues that should be improved
Pros：
✔ Convenient location with easy access to attractions and transportation.
✔ Friendly and responsive staff who promptly addressed concerns.
✔ Affordable pricing, making it a good option for budget travelers.

Cons：
❌ The first room I checked into had small cockroaches and an unpleasant odor, which affected my experience. Fortunately, after reporting the issue, the hotel promptly changed my room. The new room was much cleaner
❌ However, the bathroom in the new room was outdated—the showerhead was worn out, the water pressure was weak and inconsistent, and the hot water supply was unstable
❌ The floor drain in the bathroom was clogged, but after informing the staff, they resolved the issue quickly, which I appreciate
❌ The booking page mentioned that the Superior Double Room category includes “Some Rooms Have Windows.” However, when I requested a windowed room at check-in, the front desk informed me that all Superior Double Rooms do not have windows. This misleading information could be disappointing for guests expecting otherwise

Overall, De Lux Bangkok Hotel provides decent value for budget travelers, with good customer service. While some issues arose, the staff’s quick response was commendable. Improvements in room cleanliness, bathroom facilities, and accurate room descriptions would make this hotel a much better choice for future visitors
