Elegant Airport Hotel

The website described this as a 5 star hotel but it was more like a 2 star motel at best. The hotel is close to Bangkok airport but had no shuttle service despite and the airport rail link does not connect to hotel despite their website claiming as such. The room had no toiletries and one of the shower door pane was missing! The staff can't communicate in English and are barely present. Don't waste your money here!

No shuttle, even though they claim to have one. Food is basic. Rooms are adequate. Main good point is its proximity to airport.

The worst hotel I stayed in Thailand. Horrible staff, horrible rooms, horrible service, horrible food. There was nothing good about this hotel. Thankfully I only stayed for one night to catch my flight next day.
There is one short lady at reception, Don't know her name, she will make sure to ruin your day. She is so rude and will treat you like you're staying there for free. This lady will make you feel guilty for asking for any help, will make angry faces and will take you to the rooms by making you walk behind her like her slave.
To the hotel management- if you really want to keep your hotel running and save it from bad customer experience, please fire this lady first.
Coming to the rooms - we booked a deluxe 3 sharing room, we were given a shabby tiny room . it was so small, hardly any space to walk or unpack your luggage. The bathroom has no toiletries, no soap, no facewash, no moisturizer, no conditioner, no toothbrush and other toilet kit.
The buffet breakfast was not continental, only catered to the local Thai people's taste. If you're not from Thailand or other south east Asian countries, you'll have to survive on bread and margarine. They didn't even have milk for tea or coffee or corn flakes.

All in all, save yourself from the bad experience stay away from this hotel

On a 3 week trip to Thailand, stayed in Bangkok, Phuket, udon Thani, then on the last leg of the trip in Bangkok again. The “elegant” was NOT “Elegant”! The room they gave us was not cleaned! No cover on the bed! The shower head had hairs hanging from it! An hour from all the top rated food places. We did walk next door and let the kids fish for shrimp and had dinner which was nice, but when we walked back to our room we entered the hotel and had to walk through the morning dining area to get to the elevators and a fat RAT ran across the floor!!! My wife refused to stay and the hotel refused to refund us even though the management runs a nasty hotel. They came back to clean the room for us and didn’t even use 2 sheets for the bed. Elegant my a$$. Looked like there was blood drops on the old sheet. The light fixture next to the bed swings from misuse. And your view from the window is an empty lot with nasty trash piled up. What a joke. I hope they loose more than 4 nights worth of business from this post for being so inconsiderate with the refund and not taking resposbility for living up to the name “elegant” I would never recommend staying here.

In this hotel there is no double or Queen size bed so if you are to people you would have a problem because They put two single bit under say that the charger and you cannot sleep because there’s a gap. The food was okay in the morning but when we went for a lunchtime same thing was there and they had more stuff the salad bar didn’t change anything a lot of time flies were all over salad bar there.
I asked them to clean my room however they said you have to remove all your assets in case it gets stolen. Everything as was okay customer Wi-Fi is very poor connection.

The location is awful because there’s no shops around you. I personally wouldn’t stay in this hotel any more unless I’m so desperate. The room was clean as it is not an old hotel.

I stayed at the hotel for 2 different nights for the test and go program. Their covid 29 policy's poor. The hotel receptionists are lack of manners. พูดนะจ๊ะกับลูกค้า ต้องเอาไปฝึกกันใหม่นะคะ. Only two of them seemed helpful, a male staff who checked me in and a senior lady at the front desk otherwise they're chaotic. No hand sanitizers in front of/inside elevators, and only one bottle of hand sanitizer in the dinning area. Plate mats never been charged after a guest left the table. There's flies. Coffee pot and tea pot we're felty. Meals were enough for everyone but taste okay. My room has no curtains. No toiletries other than 2 pump bottles for shampoo and body wash. Not recommend!

I choose it because it was the cheaper option for Test and Go.

Likes: 1. It has floor in the room, not carpet. I think that's more hygienic.
2. They provided some warm food when we got there around 1am after asking for some.

Dislikes: 1. The shower door was missing and you can actually see how dirty were around the elevator buttons (where everyone touches). I'll attach pics.
2.They have buffet to get your food, it doesn't make sense to me that you're "quarantined" before getting your results but every one eats in the same place.
3. Food has a lot of fruit flies around lunch, they were the same vegetables from breakfast.
4. Mosquitoes! Everywhere, especially at the entrance and in the room.
5. The view was a dumping site.

Strongly not recommended.
The communication in the hotel is lost.
The room was untidy and walls was damaged.
I have been moved to another room after testing positive for covid and the view from the room was shocking!! I could see garbage everywhere- I will attach pictures as I can’t even explain how bad it was.
The temperature in the room from west side was so high that you could barely breathe- we needed to keep curtains closed all day long, which meant no day light during 7-days quarantine.
