Grand Diamond Suites Hotel

Happy Anniversary to Grand Diamond Suite. We have been regular guests at the Hotel for years. We are pleased with the Hotel but this time we were given a room(Rm 1101) which is newly renovated . The electricity tripped at 5am and the whole room is in darkness. We look for the emergency touch light. Found it but it is not working. Try to call front desk but phone not working. The safety protocol has failed.

Upon arrival, the bellboy & house keeping staffs were so helpful and polite. However our luxury room did not dispense hot shower consistently, when it was hot, awhile later turned cold. The tv was all featured in Thai language except for Aljazeera news. The complimentary welcome fruit was already spoilt in the mini fridge. The ploy restaurant at 8th floor served both halal & non halal food, with some dish tagged as non pork. Not much choices in the halal section though. Apart from these, we slept well coz it was cozy and quiet at 25th floor.

I was leary staying here after reading the reviews and glad I stayed. Yes the hotel is old but not run down. We stayed on the 10th floor and everything works, no stains on carpet, no wobbling table. I swear if people do not want to stay here then go stay at the Hilton or something of that caliber. Just like in Vegas you stay to sleep and go out and explore. Joe the porter was helpful, staff is friendly and attentive.

Not for the fuzzy whiners who complain about the smallest things.

One of the few hotels right next to Platinum mall and across Pratunam market with family suites. Ladies with families who love to shop will love the location.
Stayed in the double deluxe two bedroom suites. One room with a king bed and attached bath, one room with two single beds and attached bath, a kitchenette and a sitting room with dining room. The rooms are old and dated but very clean and functional. No security deposit required.

Staff are helpful, fixed the microwave immediately, gave us an iron immediately etc. we didn't have a lot of demands and we had no complaints with staff at all during our stay. They let us keep our luggage for free before we left. We could shop till 11 pm and it was totally safe. Walkable distance to Central world mall etc. breakfast was good enough. i hope the haters keep hating and stay away to keep the prices down for us 😄

Rooms are a bit old and rundown but everything works. Air conditioning good. Water pressure and heat good.
Just next to Platinum Fashion Mall and wslking distance to Siam Center n MBK Center.
Lots of food around.

Rooms are old and in urgent need for renovation. Carpets and sofa are stained (We have 3 rooms and all 3 rooms were in the same condition). Beds are really hard abd worn that you can feel the springs on your body.

Location is excellent. Perhaps the best located hotel in the area as it is connected to the Platinum mall and has easy access to pretty much other points of interests as well through the link bridge.

Hotel staffs are friendly and helpful.

Smoking rooms available here . The most amazing hotel I have been too. It’s simple and at the same time extremely convenient location. Rooms are huge and cozy. Air conditioners cool well and have one in each room. The junior suite is very comfortable. Clean linen and beds that are just right. Not too soft and not too hard. On request baby crib was given with no extra charge. Right below in the lobby is Decembers clothing which once you enter and go on first floor , it can take you to platinum fashion mall or Prathunam mall across within minutes. Room service was very good with all staff always smiling and willingly coming forward to assist you in all that you need. We stayed here for 10 nights and loved every moment of our stay here. Swimming pool and restaurant is on the 8th floor. Swimming pool timings are 9:00 am to 8:00 pm. Breakfast is from 6:00 am to 10:30 am. Extra beds will cost you thb 1000 per night. I have stayed at amari watergate, Baiyoke sky, Baiyoke suites and I can rate this as the best hotel compared to all of the above. You just blindly come here and you will thank me later. Saved atleast 50k compared to other hotels and had the most comfortable stay for 10 days. Stay included breakfast. Must visit.
