Great Stay Overall — Would Come Again

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel and will likely stay here again in the future.

Pros:

1. Excellent location right next to the Chong Nonsi BTS station — super convenient for getting around the city.


2. Rooftop pool on the 10th floor with a stunning view of the station and the Mahanakhon Tower.


3. Fantastic buffet breakfast — especially loved the ice cream selection!


4. Reasonably priced for the quality and location.



Cons:
The only real downside was the room view. We booked a room “with a view” on the 7th floor, but unfortunately, the view was mostly blocked. The main windows faced a wall with air conditioning units, and the view of the skyline and BTS station was only visible through two narrow side windows.
This seems to be a common issue with many rooms, as the side of the hotel facing the view is occupied by shared spaces like the buffet area and the pool. On the bright side, the view from the dining area is amazing.
Only the 8th and 9th floors have rooms with truly open views, but no upgrades were available during our stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. There is a 7/11 around the corner and the Chong Nonsi BTS on its doorstep.
Loved the swimming pool looking right at the King Power building.
The room is very spacious, bathroom has shower and bathtub.
Service was great!

Second time at this hotel and what drama it was. Having booked a more expensive room with a “city view”, arrived to find a room with no view except a concrete wall. I had asked reception to move me and instead of telling me the room she would move me to had many issues, she moved me and I spent most of the afternoon, having the lights fixed then the water heater replaced and ultimately got moved again! However, they did upgrade me to a premier suite. It was remarkably big but yet again no view…(the hotel should not sell the idea of city view). It’s not, you look onto concrete walls or other rooms. The location itself is really what sells this hotel. The pool is nice and at least closes a little late at 9pm. The suite they gave me was lovely but the shower is set up badly and there is no water stopper so the whole floor gets wet. The technicians fixing things and concierge is very good. I don’t think I will stay here again though.

Right across from Chong Nonsi subway, very convenient. But very disappointed with the room card system -- 3 times my card wouldn't open the door, they had to call an engineer to come with laptop to hack open the door. Staff also gave me 3 different cards to turn on the electricity -- none of them worked. Don't insult your customers by giving them something you know doesn't work :(

The room is good enough and worth for the price. Of course the structure is a bit old but is perfectly clean and the staff is very kind. Good buffet breakfast and nice swimming pool with a great spot. Location and services top.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. On my last night, a stranger got into my room TWICE at around 3:30am - 4am, first time, he opened the door the pee himself to the toilet floor, i was awoken cos of the strange sound made by him, I was terrified that someone who I dont know would be able to open my door without my keycard, I pushed him out of the door and shut the door again. 5 - 10 mins later, he was able to get into my room again and this time walked into the foyer of the room and spoke language I don't understand and I nearly needed to fight him off and shouted to him and pushed him out of the room, I was terrified and scared and put the chair against the door in case of any intruder. I called up the front desk and they said would let the security handled that but no update. On the morning, when I checked out, I complaint that to the front desk and she said she would investigate. The security and safety of the guest should be the number 1 priority as is a stranger could get into the room without my room key card, it's a very serious issue, and who knew who would get in and may be life threatening. My wrist got hurt when I pushed the intruder out of the room.

The experience was terrible, and I felt so scared and insecure with such incident, which was totally unacceptable and it's absurd that the hotel could not provide a safe environment to their guest. 100% disappointment and this is something that any future guests or the hotel need to seriously look into this issue. As if a hotel could not provide a safe and secure environment to their guests, they should not be running/ operating.
