PanPan Hostel

The first trip to Asia and the first place was Bangkok. We chose the location where I want to live and then chose from the offer on Booking. We were looking for a quiet room with a view of the city and a private bathroom. Clean, simple, spacious and bright. Air conditioning was not a requirement, but a pleasant bonus. As well as a safe in the room. Both things became a requirement later in the search. PanPan Hostel was more than a pleasant surprise and fulfilled everything to the letter.
Our room was on the top floor. It is true that there is no elevator and the stairs are quite steep, but the view was worth it. It is challenged already on the ground floor, and cleanliness and order reigned everywhere. Both owners were always helpful and it was great to talk to them as well as give advice on a planned trip, where to eat or other services (in my case, where to get my torn pants sewn up). A nice terrace on the top floor, a kitchenette and coffee or tea at the reception are also a bonus. A surprise was also the possibility to have a few pieces of clothing washed completely free of charge and you could wear them clean the next day. The shower was big enough and it's the only hostel where we found hygiene bags for used toilet paper. Great. I highly recommend and greet you from home.

A fantastic stay with all of the amenities: free laundry(!), teas&coffees, games (scrabble, cards) and even a free book swap shelf where I managed to pick up a book that I had been after for 3 months! Such luck! Bedroom was comfortable & showers were hot with good pressure. Also close to transport links and within walking distance of the King Power Tower & Icon Siam.

What made this stay even better was the kindness shown by the owner (May) with a mix up of my clothes.

Would 100% recommend to anyone looking for somewhere comfortable to stay in Bangkok.

Had a very nice stay at PanPan Hostel Bangkok last week. It’s a cool (& clean!) little hostel in Bang Rak area, very close to Silom Road. It’s just around a 5-minute walk to two BTS/Skytrain stations (Saint Louis and Surasak), making it easy to go around the city. My room was a spacious double with a very comfy bed & cool AC, with a shared bathroom. The lobby is cozy, with a big-screen TV, a lounge area, a rack full of books to read, some board games, free all-day coffee & tea, and a travel-sized guitar that I couldn’t resist playing! No breakfast is available here (probably due to Covid), but there are plenty of choices around the hostel, from street food to cool cafés to a 24-hour 7-11 convenience store. All in all, Panpan is highly recommended!

Great hostel. It is light and clean. They say that breakfast isn't included, but the whole day there is free tea/coffee and toast available, so that makes a fine breakfast (or dinner when necessary!). Also you can hand in three pieces of laundry for free every day.

Perfect for the backpacker!

The rooms are comfortable, internet is adequate, location is quite strategic and easy access to public transportation, as well as the owner of the hostel are very nice and friendly.

There is facility of laundry 3 pieces per day for free.

Great place and great stay. The people are very friendly and helpful. And laundry service included in the room price makes it even better. I surely can recommend it.

Clean rooms with with the basic necessities covered. The beds are very comfortable and the AC in the rooms worked great. Free toast and coffee for breakfast, nothing fancy but a good option to start the day. They have very cute toast holders.

A cozy place to crash for backpackers or travellers looking for a cheap, value for money place to stay. Staff were very polite and efficient. Placed to a nearby bts station. Highly recommended
