Stayed because it was near a clinic where I was having surgery.
The TV was damaged with a long horizontal line through the centre making it quite annoying to watch anything on it. Considering I was at the hotel to rest and use the TV, it was quite an annoying experience. Management weren't interested in fixing this or moving me to another room or offering a discount and later admitted they didn't think it was an issue at all, which prompted me to write a review funnily enough.
Soundproofing is awful, you can hear everything in the next room, so hope your neighbour is quiet.
Towels weren't replaced for the week of the stay.
Only 1 soap to share between the bathroom sink and the shower, so you have to keep moving soap between the two. Why not just have 2 soaps?
Lighting was a bit bizarre, there's no bedside table for a lamp so you have to turn the ceiling spotlights off before finding the bed.
Rooms are looking a bit worn out compared to the pictures.
Staff were friendly although unhelpful. Apart from the first guy that carried my case up the stairs, I'm grateful to him for that.

I was in the studio room with a balcony; best hot shower, mattress and pillows I've had in Thailand... really really good and a real pleasure to experience over here.
Nice, quiet air con.
Wonderful big quiet fridge.
Microwave included in room to heat meals from the three or four nearby convenience stores if desired (the first microwave I've had in Thailand).
Very quiet location.
Only $10ish AUS for a grab/TAXI into varying city locations (little motorbike trike blokes seem to charge like wounded bulls, so haggle them down to a realistic price).
Cons:
A block-out curtain would be the icing on the cake.
They should put a little pad in the door jam to quieten the doors closing.
All hotels in Thailand should put in "smart tvs" so westerners can mirror screen their phones to the smart t.v and watch their choice of multilingual programs (utube, Netflix, or anything they choose from their own phone).

cosy and near to skytrain. however the front desk is open from 6am until 11pm only. clean room. homely neighbourhood.

Wow, seriously, it’s like finding a hidden gem in the middle of a neighborhood. The vibe here is just great—comfy, modern, and super clean! The best part? It's close to 7-Eleven and all the snack spots, plus the skytrain is nearby. My first time in Bangkok, and I already got a spot that’s totally recommended!

I stayed here during after getting a hair transplant at the nearby Absolute Clinic (15 min walk). The rooms were clean and well stocked (I had a fridge, balcony with sink, and a couch). It was more like an apartment room. Laundry was very easy and cheap. Breakfast every morning was the highlight: Handcrafted coffee drinks with a variety of breakfast options, in a nice cafe setting. Plenty of food and convenience store options nearby. Quiet area and only 10 minute walk to Krong Thon Buri BTS station. Staff very helpful, friendly and respectful. Would absolutely stay again.

Affordable price and close to BTS Krungthonburi which you can take the BTS golden line to Icon Siam, the room is fairly small but it’s worth for paying compared to any other hotels in the same area.

It is my first visit to Thailand. So, it is also important for me to stay in an authentic neighborhood, close to transit infrastructures. It did exactly this. I walked to everything even when the train or bus were available.
I will come back, for sure!

The Pattern is a place in the suburbs that is quiet and not too crowded, but there are still many convenient transportation facilities, from motorbikes, taxis, public transportation, and even the BTS. The location is close to ICONSIAM and is considered a mall with many amenities. Complete convenience and also a tourist attraction for many people. The Pattern has rooms of many sizes to choose from, decorated in Minimalist tone. When guests enter to stay, they feel cozy and warm. In addition, in front of the lobby there is a small cafe that serves users. In front of the accommodation there is a street food restaurant. Various accommodations which are considered to be complete accommodations in every aspect, plus the price is still within the affordable criteria.

the hotel was awesome and breakfast was super yummy, but the location isn’t super convenient if you’re planning to visit the temples and the big tourist hotspots.

Bugs in the room. After we called the reception they sent a man with a broom to “clean out” the bugs. As expected it didn’t help and more bugs appeared within a few minutes. They also refused to change the room. Think twice before checking in.
