The Quarter Hualamphong by UHG Mini-hotel

Absolutely everything about this hotel deserves a full 5 stars! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how well-maintained and thoughtfully designed everything was. The rooms were incredibly clean, spacious, and cozy, with such a comfortable vibe that it felt like a home away from home. The view from the room was stunning, especially in the early mornings and evenings, making the entire stay feel peaceful and scenic.

One of the small but really lovely things was the housekeeping service. They cleaned the room while we were out exploring, and coming back to a neat, fresh room with refilled water bottles and perfectly arranged tea and coffee sachets felt so thoughtful. It’s these little touches that make a big difference.

The breakfast spread was honestly amazing - fresh, tasty, and with something for everyone. The staff was warm, polite, and always ready to help with a smile. You can tell they genuinely care about the guests.

And the location? So convenient. Everything we needed - food, markets, and local spots - was just around the corner. This place really made our trip special. Can’t recommend it enough!

Right away, you’ll meet a friendly staff, which always makes a good first impression. You’ll also be happy to find that the hotel and your room are very clean, so you can relax without worries.

The hotel has some fun features, like a nice pool to cool off in, and it's close to interesting places to explore, such as Sampeng Market and Songwat Road. It's really convenient if you want to walk around and see the city. Additionally, if you enjoy a good drink, the cocktails are popular—they’re tasty and reasonably priced.

A few things to keep in mind: the hotel’s cafe serves a buffet for breakfast, so if you were hoping to order something special off a menu, you won’t be able to. You can still grab a coffee, though! Also, the pool area might have some renovations happening, which the hotel may not inform you about in advance. This could be disappointing, and if you were really looking forward to the pool, you might wish you had chosen a different hotel.

Overall, this hotel is a solid choice because it’s clean, has friendly staff, and is in a great location for sightseeing. Just be prepared for the breakfast situation and any potential work at the pool.

A really excellent 3 star hotel with a great location near Chinatown. Was a bit worried with some of the other recent reviews, and whilst the rooms are a bit shabby, they’re clean and comfortable. The photos make it look like a 5 star hotel, and this is a bit misleading, but ultimately you get what you pay for and the price for a stay here is good value.

Above all else, we felt the staff were extremely helpful and friendly, the breakfast was exemplary and the pool a really nice feature to have.

Finally, only one elevator was out of action during our stay and this did not inconvenience us at all.

The lift system sets them back but the low price gives it an edge

Unfortunately I took video of the hotel space l, not photos. The place was immaculate. Amazing beds, great space, quiet, across the street from the metro, about 2 km from China town (1 metro station away), easy access to everywhere. The hotel staff was great and very nice. Good gym, nice pool. I couldn’t be happier with my stay there! I would definitely go back and recommend this hotel, although I found that they have other The Quarter hotels around the city as I walked around.

Good location with affordable price

One of the best. Excellent facilities, good swimming pool, rooftop experience was good, awesome breakfast with very polite and professional staffs. Good hospitality.

Cleanliness seemed alright at check in until I woke up after the first night with insect bites. I believe there were bed bugs in room 918 (bed on the right). Hopefully the hotel does something about it.

The room was otherwise clean and spacious. Location was excellent for visiting chinatown area. There were lots of delicious food options nearby and also just 5 mins walk to the metro.

One more thing is that the hot water in the room was not working. Thankfully it was just a 2 nights' stay.

The location is excellent! It’s right across from Hua Lamphong Railway Station—super convenient. My rooms have a direct view of the station, which is really charming and iconic.

It’s also close to several interesting neighborhoods like Talad Noi, Song Wat, and Yaowarat (Chinatown). You can easily walk to explore these areas, and there’s tons of food around—local eateries, street food, and cool cafes. Perfect for food lovers and those who enjoy strolling through Bangkok’s old-town vibe.

The hotel itself is nice and clean. The rooms are comfortable, and the staff is polite and professional.

One small downside is the elevator system, which can be a bit confusing, especially when multiple people are using it at once or during check-in hours.

Overall, it’s a great place to stay if you want to explore Bangkok’s old town and have easy access to public transport. Would definitely recommend!
