Red Planet Bangkok Asoke - SHA Extra Plus

A basic hotel very close to Asok BTS. Rooms are clean, shower is good and air conditioning efficient.
There is no refrigerator in the room and no water provided, which I found surprising. If you haven't brought your own water with you, it has to be purchased from reception or there's a water cooler on the ground floor from the lift.
If you wake up in the middle of the night with a raging thirst then probably best to book elsewhere.
Thankfully only stayed one night.

Chose this hotel because of the location and price. Compared to the hotels in the area, it is a lot cheaper, which is also reflected in the amenities.

The room is really small, but I was travelling alone so it wasn’t a problem. Two people might find it to be quite a squeeze.

During my stay, the wifi in my room didn’t work too well so I had to use my phone to tether internet. You can leave your luggage in the lobby after checkout, as there is a security guard watching your stuff.

There is a 7-11 10 mins walk away if you need to get water or toiletries.
