Shama Yen-Akat Hotel

I’m a frequent traveller and this hotel is one of the best ones I’ve stayed. Perfect for staying with family, friends or for solo travellers. We just felt like home during our stay at the hotel. We took the superior room and my experience is based on the following factors:

1. Cleanliness - Very beat and clean room and surroundings.
2. Service - Great service front desk and all hotel staff. Very polite and extremely helpful.
3. Amenities - Rooms are sound proof with a nice aircon!! Everything you could possibly need during a family trip was available, including a very nice microwave, cutlery, Iron, smart Tv, a nice balcony, and a huge bathroom..!! The swimming pool was just amazing for both kids and adults..!!! The restaurant at the hotel is great too!!
4. Locations- Great and easily accessible location with 7/11s all around along with a great marketplace. If you are a party animal, you may need to take a taxi 3-5KM to party places..!! Grab (including food delivery service) and Bolt (taxi service only) are easily available as well..!!

Overall, our experience was just amazing at this place and we will be staying here again in the near future..!!!

Shama Yen Akat is the perfect hotel for solo, family and business travelers. It's quiet, safe and a short Grab ride from all the action. The rooms are generously sized, the surrounding neighborhood has a large market a three minute walk away and the coffee shop has plenty of space. The prices are also very reasonable. Mink and Top are ever present in the lobby to offer help and a welcoming smile. As a solo traveler I appreciate the recognition.

Private and close to central shopping, and close to supermarket with local restaurants area

For this time, not appreciate due to the front desk staff at check-in process is not well-trained to satisfy guest in this services business. Another issue to be expected on the Shama standard is cleanliness feeling on bathroom towels, but they are quite old and must have been changed to the new good quality ones to all room. Others still beyond standard.

I haven't been here for a long time, but I'm still impressed with the beauty of the room. Although there was a slight problem when I asked for a room upgrade, but the staff was able to solve the problem quickly.
In my opinion if they have Netflix or streaming services would be nice.

Had a really pleasant stay at this hotel! The room was new, big and spacious, which made our stay even more comfortable. The location is very convenient — just a few minutes’ walk to a small mall where you can easily grab groceries and other essentials. The staff, especially Bank, Mink, and Top, were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our visit. They made sure we had everything we needed and were always smiling. Great service. highly recommended!

Came here for the fifth time because it is pet friendly (500 THB per pet), larger dog like mine is also allowed. New and modern, beautiful hotel. Great staff!

The front desk staff is friendly, the lobby is comfortable, and the hotel is pet-friendly. The room has a small terrace, a small refrigerator, and the air conditioning is quite powerful. The room is very clean, and the mattress and pillows are very comfortable! The hotel makes you feel like home.

The hotel was a great stay when we finally got there. Although we had initially booked 5 nights, we only 2 because one person received visa late from the embassy and travel was delayed. We tried to appeal to the hotel to make changes but the booking was quite inflexible and we would have to give up the room we booked and pay more money for modifications. So , we opted to just keep the original booking. With that being said, the onsite service was great, breakfast was good and had variety . The overall service was great from the staff to help us book some of our tours and cabs. Would definitely go back but with caution by booking with insurance.

Great hotel to stay if you’re travelling with family. We came as a couple during valentine day and i have requested for special request of some flower decorations, however we received a rose instead which is even better. Really appreciate the staff putting effort to arrange the rose in our room. Room is spacious and bed is soft. There is a mall within walking distance and a supermarket too. We will definitely come back for our next trip.
