My stay at Shanghai Mansion Bangkok was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I was transported to the golden age of 1930s Shanghai. The decor is a perfect blend of vintage charm and modern luxury, making every corner of the hotel a feast for the eyes.

The staff at Shanghai Mansion are incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring that every guest feels like royalty. The concierge was exceptionally knowledgeable, providing excellent recommendations for local dining and attractions.

The rooms are a true highlight of the hotel. Spacious and beautifully decorated, each room is a haven of comfort and style. The plush bedding and elegant furnishings create a relaxing atmosphere that made it difficult to leave the room. The complimentary minibar and daily replenished snacks were a delightful touch.

We stayed at Shanghai Mansions for four days mid August. We travelled as a family of two adults and two children.
Upon reaching the hotel we noticed that it was slap bang in the hustle and bustle of Chinatown. We were immediately seated and provided our choice of drink and fruit. Check in was quick and smooth. We had booked the basic room and were very surprised at being upgraded to a suite on the second floor!
The room was large and consisted of a foyer, a communal area complete with a TV and sofa, a bedroom, bathroom and separate toilet and shower cubicle. Outside was absolutely beautiful with an indoor pond. We completely loved the freestanding bath! One thing is certain- the hotel is serene and beautiful! It's a completely different world to the chaos of Chinatown!

The hotel's art deco, Chinese theme was beautiful and well-decorated, giving me the feeling of being in a traditional Shanghai Chinese mansion. The room itself was nice, but unfortunately, it was quite small and didn't have any windows.
Although the hotel was in a busy street of China Town, we didn't hear any noise from outside when we were in the room.
The air conditioning worked perfectly, but it was a bit noisy.

On the other hand, the hotel was situated in the middle of China Town, which offered plenty of things to see and do, even at night. The breakfast was extensive and delicious, and the lounge at the front was comfortable and served nice food.

The live music in the lounge at the front were played too loudly, making it difficult to relax at times but it was nice to have some live music in a hotel.

Exceptional service with beautifully decorated interior. Rooms are amazing and aesthetically pleasing. Very quiet and dark to give off perfect romantic vibes. The staff were extremely nice and helpful with giving advice and thoroughly attentive. We purchased a king suite and we felt like queens our entire stay. Absolutely stunning 10-10!

I actually really love this place. Its really aestetically pleasing. There's a floor for tea where someone plays the harpsicord, there's a jazz restaurant I never saw open, but it looked cool. The main floor lounge was nice and had some really interesting drinks and food. You're paying for the environment, but if you're not in the mood to pay higher prices than fear not! Walk out the door and head left or right, because there is a 7-11 within a minute of you and you can get beer, snacks, water and orange juice for $6. At night you can also walk straight out the door and straight into the most mind boggling collection of street food vendors ever. Its honestly kind of an amazing place in a fantastic location. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and they gave us some really good advice. They have live misic at night, although I wouldn't have hated hearing something besides covers of western music. The rooms were very cool, I loved the eastern style bed. The mattress was pretty firm, but that seems to be how it is everywhere. I didn't love the shower, but I didn't hate it either. They provide shower caps, so it was less of a nuisance than it could have been. I would absolutely stay in Chinatown in the Shanghai Mansion again

This place has EXCELLENT service and is located right in Chinatown of Bangkok. Everything you need whether it be good food or some shopping will be a short walk from the hotel.
The staff here are what make this place truly great, I definitely recommend it.

The hotel is an awesome place to explore Bangkok. The rooms are stylish and offer anything you need. We highly recommend the Chinese tea hour from Thursday to Sunday from 2 to 3 pm. Thank you hotel and staff for having us :)
