Sleep with Me Bangkok - BTS Phra Khanong

We originally booked another nearby place but due to an error with that place’s system we ended up scrambling to find a room quickly. Sleep With Me Bangkok was on the next street over and the pictures on Agoda didn’t look bad, in fact they looked modern and clean, so we booked it for one night.
When we arrived we were met by an unfriendly woman who checked us in and had me pay a 500baht deposit for a key. We were on the 5th floor and there was no lift (to add to that I have a broken toe and toe nail), so it was challenging for us to get up so many flights with our luggage.
On our way up, we noticed broken furniture, and walls peeling, mold or mildew on the walls, so not a great sign already. There are no cameras in the hallways, and our door was plastic with a single push lock, which anyone can easily break into.
Our room was so small, had dusty floors, and dirty walls -see pictures attached! There is no sound proofing and you can see the light from the hallway coming through from the bottom door vent. There was a random cord hanging from the wall where a tv might have been. Thank goodness the bedding was clean otherwise we would have been out of there.
The shared washrooms were a joke. The men’s toilet was “out of order” so the only working toilet was the women’s which had no toilet seat! The shared sinks all had loose faucets with rust and no soap provided, but even if there was soap the dispensers didn’t work.
With some money poured into this place, it could easily be fixed up. It’s a shame it’s been neglected.

The guy at check in was polite and it's in a good location. But the communal areas need to be fixed up and the room was super small. The plugs sockets was coming off the wall and I could barely charge my phone. It was fine for one night's sleep but expensive for what it was.

Noise, noise, noise. The rooms are extremely bad built. Impossible to sleep due to the noise coming from the trafic on Sukhumvit road. I had to leave the room at 3am to go to another hotel.

I did not stay there, just passing by.
As soon as you get it, a disgusting smell, then the person at the reception, looks strange and unprofessional like he just woke up.

I asked if I could have a look at one room: NO NOT possible

THE WORST SERVICE I’VE EVER RECEIVED

We booked this hostel because of its the proximity to the subway and because the reviews said it was clean and comfortable and believe me, I am a very adaptable person but this was too much.

The rooms and hotel in general are clean, but everything inside the room needs maintenance. The floor in the shower was broken and the AC was working but making too much noise, which makes very difficult to sleep. The room didn’t have any window.

The employees only speak Thai, but the worst was the lack of kindness. The guy who attended us got annoyed with us because he couldn’t understand our English and we couldn’t understand his Thai. We tried to use the google translator to show the messages and he didn’t even looked at the screen to read.

Excuse me, but he was not “making us a favor”. The owner should put more attention on the kind of people he hires and the kind of treatment they give to people. I WILL NEVER STAY AGAIN HERE.
