Customer service and location top-notch! Really delighted of the cheerful way I was taken care of. I had some problems with my luggage (caused by me) and the staff was so very helpful in solving them.

As a novice to Bangkok I was very positively surprised of how close everything was: Bobae shopping tower, Wat Saket Ratchawora, and Mahanak market focused on fresh fruits right around the corner. Then on a 1.5km range many impressive sights and places like Pratunam market, The Grand Palace, and Wat Arun (and several other temple areas) for instance. Also the water canal boats go from right under the window which is a fast way to get moving to either East or West.

Just pack your earplugs with you and you'll be very happy you booked it!

I stayed 4 nights at smile inn, which I greatly recommend for backpackers or travellers who want to travel on budget.

Rooms are nice and clean, equipped with A/C, private bathroom and toilet. Nothing special but if you want some privacy and rest alone, it’s perfect option. If you’re sensitive sleeper, I recommend getting pair of earplugs. Depending on your room, you might hear a busy Bangkok traffic, although it’s much quieter at night. Blinds are good and keep the room dark.

Staff is very attentive, caring and friendly. I was welcomed by young girl who spoke good English and was very helpful.

You get beautiful lobby area with some coaches and terrace to rest or to work. Plenty of street food options around, Thai box gym right across the street, and some markets for clothes, food etc.. Some Buddhist temples just walking distance from the hotel.

Amazing value for the price. Single rooms are perfectly set up for a solo traveler looking for something that’s a step up from a hostel. Bed is comfortable enough and each room is air conditioned. Would recommend!

Good value for money! The rooms are spacious for what you pay. Cool & trendy style. There's a hangout area where you can meet people too. Clean rooms and good location, but in a more quiet area.

I had a single economy room that was facing the river. The receptionists seem a little "off" only, and wasn't always that easy to communicate with.

Recommended for the price you pay.

Awesome place,near to tourist places,temples, khaosan road and any markets,but in the room is quite,nice view at river ,staff nice and friendly specially Spray and Tina,safe place for alone traveler,clean room and bathroom,plus ac work best, i will definitely comeback here again,ofcourse with my friends next time,because am lil scary to scroll around in khaosan road alone, i want to experience khaosan road,this is the place that i missed in bangkok.

Nice place to stay.. not expensive.. Hotel by Canal / River.. very near from many tourist places like Grand Palace, Wat Pho, Khausan Street...

Beautiful rooms, fair prices. A little far from the shopping areas. But it's worth the extra taxi fares. There's not a lot of street food options around when it's night time. A nearby convenience store is enough for light snacks though.
