Overall a very enjoyable stay. Rooms were huge and clean, the only complaint is the pillows were too soft even when stacked.

I booked Suite Spot room to celebrate my birthday but it seemed like it got overbooked. They were to upgraded me to other rooms which ended up to be their penthouse. It was an amazing stay. And their service was just through the roof. Still, I’d want to go back for Suite Spot. Until next time ka!

Stayed at The Standard Bangkok and really enjoyed the room—super comfy bed and pillows, with an amazing city view and the housekeeping team was excellent, keeping the room clean and comfortable. A definite highlight of the stay was the complimentary Sky Bar visit on the 78th floor, which offers absolutely stunning views of the Bangkok skyline.
Unfortunately, the check-in experience was a letdown. Despite 7–8 staff at the counters at the point of check in, it took almost 45 minutes to get checked in—not what you’d expect from a hotel of this calibre.
Also worth noting: the hotel requires a 12,000 baht deposit even if you’ve fully paid for your stay, and the refund takes 2–4 weeks to process by credit card. That’s unnecessarily long and inconvenient.
Overall, a mixed experience. The stay itself was lovely, but the front desk process and deposit policy definitely need improvement.

The Standard Hotel always be my first choice for staying in Bangkok and this is my 3rd times to stay. Everything goes well and as expected. Nice vibes, convenient location, friendly staff (especially Mr. Kat in the restaurant, great service with smiles always).
However, the swimming pool facilities are getting obsolete, especially the sun bed, bad smell after the rain. Having said that, still look forward to stay in the Standard for my next trip to Bangkok.

Great stay.
Breakfast was à la carte and good but a bit more variety would be great for stays of 5 days and more.
Bread / toast / baguette’s would be welcome on the buffet.
Rooms great and well cleaned.
The pool is great yet they could improve a bit the pool bar (both in terms of cleaniness and menu)

Fantastic stay in standard hotel. The design is funky yet stylish. The location is convenient and there are lots restaurants and bars around. I was offered a complimentary ticket to visit the sky bar in mahanakhon.

One of the best experiences i have in Bangkok(like my 8th or 9th visits). Hotel is 1min away from Chong Nonsi BTS and traffic is much better than the main street of Siam and Chitlom. Best balance between being close to the busiest area but not too crowded.
The hotel and the room are both beautiful and clean. Gym and pool are both decent by Bangkok’s standard. i havent tried their food as Bangkok has too much to offer and the foodcourt nearby is a already a good alternative.
