UMA Residence

Clean, comfortable, very nice complex of residences with chilling areas and a swimming pool. We were with our one and a half year old baby and this residence was perfect for us. Large spacious for rest very very quiet. You feel as if you are in the middle of nature with a beautifully decorated ambience. The staff is very friendly and clean. All dishes and coffee space were cleaned so imperceptibly that we were very surprised how clean it was. After the stay we left our luggage for two days and it was free.

Lovely place in a quiet part of town, green areas and a nice pool, however in the shade.
The rooms are renovated, modern, clean. Small attentions that are pelasent as biscuits in the rest area around the pool.
Big and comfy bed. We had a room with a balcony and a pool view.
The staff is flexible and speaks English.
Happy with the service of a young guy at the reception, really helpful with all the questions we had.
There is also a laundry service.
Great Bangkok quality/price ratio!

Please resort-style atmosphere, small basic rooms but clean with complimentary water, coffee, hot chocolate, etc. Free snacks and a great self-serve automatic espresso machine which is important to anyone who likes a good cup of coffee or a latte. Overall it’s a great and quiet place off of a very busy street. There’s a washer and dryer next door for those in need of washing clothes.

We stayed in a spacious room with 2 beds and 2 bathrooms, but there were no tables in the rooms. So, we ordered food and ate on the first floor, making use of the tables and chairs in the garden area! Dining al fresco, or as I like to call it, “picnicking in style.”

The swimming pool was well-maintained. The buildings are old but in good condition.

The hotel is located in a quiet local residential area with lots of local street food available.

My stomach isn’t exactly an adventurer, so I had to skip most of the street food. But I did bravely tackle the local bakery treats, all safely packed in containers—and hey, I liked them! Baby steps, right?

The breakfast was okay, and some of the staff were really nice, though they mostly spoke Burmese.
Communicating with the front office staff in English wasn’t a problem, thankfully.

You can feel their warm hospitality, and they are always willing to help.

If you need to visit tourist places, just call a Grab.

After all, body language is the common language of the world—and mine is fluent in pointing and smiling!

Very Nice hotel, Great location iff you want to see Bangkok

10 min to sight seeing boat trip.

I think this is a good budget hotel. Whilst it's not near the BTS, it is only a 10 minute walk to the river boats, that regularly go to the centre of the city. I find the staff very friendly and helpful. There is a nice chilled atmosphere in this quieter part of the city.
The room was clean and totally adequate for my visit. Perhaps the building's sound insulation could be a bit better, but this hotel does not attract all night party crowds!
I've stayed here before and would happily do so again.
The pool is quite small but clean. There is comfortable seating and loungers in the outside area.
No bar, but you can't have it all
