Great location across the Mariott. Staff doesn’t really speak English, take that in consideration. Super choice, but not for snobs. The hotel has gone way behind the expiration date. See it as a great value for money pick.

The hotel is perfectly situated for the bars, markets and shopping.
Price....fantastic and if you're happy enough not to be too fussy then go for it.
The hotel is clean enough but it's now gone well past it's sell by date and desperately in need of a major refurbishment, it's very tatty, worn out and screaming for a full modernisation.
Great gym , we used it every day.
Pool , it's ok but once again, tatty and badly needs work done.
Bedrooms look great on the photos but looking at the smaller details, needing attention. We lasted one night before moving out into another room.

Has been an exquisite hotel in its time but now very dated. Lots of dark carpet, and could do with a deep clean (all of the glass a bit murky) we did request a better room which we got but still mediocre reception staff not overly friendly, very good breakfast and very pleasant breakfast staff, well located for markets and old town, a little underwhelmed overall - would give it an ok

Although the room looks a bit old, it has everything you need, so there’s really nothing to complain about — especially considering how cheap the room price is. The neighborhood is very convenient, with Café de Siam and a 7-11 nearby, and it’s not far from the night market and Warorot Market.

We stayed here in April 2024. We've visited many times before and always enjoyed our stays, but after a break from travelling due to COVID, our return this year was a bit disappointing.

The hotel is in need of some serious upgrades. While the rooms were clean, they feel outdated, and the windows clearly hadn't been cleaned in quite some time. The foyer areas on each floor also had a musty, damp smell, adding to the overall feeling that the place is getting a bit tired.

The front desk staff were surprisingly rude—not something we've experienced before in Thailand. We booked for a family of four, but when we arrived, there were only two single beds in the room. We were told we could all "share and fit," which was obviously not acceptable. I requested two fold-out beds, but was told we’d have to pay extra. I explained that we had already paid for accommodation and breakfast for four people. After some back and forth, they eventually agreed to provide the extra beds and include breakfast—but not without a poor attitude.

Despite these issues, we still love the location. The entrance and lobby remain beautiful, and the food and pool area are great. Sadly, the spa—which was once fantastic—now feels dirty and cold.

We really hope the hotel invests in some upgrades and returns to being the excellent place it once was. We'd love to keep coming back, but things definitely need to improve.

The rooms are quite old and outdated. They do have a bit of classic charm, but, it's obvious that they've used their budget to upgrade the first 4 floors.

I will say, when you walk in, you feel like royalty, but by the time you get to your room, you realize you are a peasant.

My room was a deluxe upgrade with a nice tub. But like I said, it's just really dated. You can hear your neighbors clearly, and for whatever reason the card holder thing turns itself off from time to time.

I'm sure in its prime it was an awesome place. That prime time has long since gone.

I imagine it's a nightmare to give a building of this size a face life, but even the outdoor stage area looks like an abandoned park.

I'm on the 23rd floor, so maybe my room is just extra old. I don't know.

The staff are pretty standard for any hotel. Pretty cold.

The hotel seem to be affected by the recent Myanmar earthquake. My room ceilings can seen crack but the hotel assures the building structure is safe.  Nonetheless, the location is good

Very bad crisis management & service. No in house plan for emergency & crisis management. Call front desk no pick up. Finally reception pick up call and promised to housekeeping to clean the debris at 1500 hour. Not happen at 1600 hour so when down to lobby front desk to check. Manager received the complaint and responded to immediately send housekeeping to clean & clear the debris. Nothing happened after an hour decided to go out. When back 2200 hour, room still not clean. Went down to lobby complaint and finally someone came to clear & clean. Basically on 28th March the room bathroom & toilet cannot be used from 1500-2300 hour. The management did not officially apologize & treated as if nothing has happened. Felt totally unhappy & dissatisfied with the hotel.
